"You can decide where we go. The point is, I want to talk to you," Ivy replied.

"Just say whatever you want to say right here," Oliver responded with a strange expression.

Whatever they needed to discuss could be done here, so why go sowhere else?

His words made Ivy hesitate a little.

She seed to think for a mont, then said, "Let’s go into the car. It’ll be easier to talk there."

"You’re not going to take sowhere else, right?" Oliver asked.

"No!"

Although hesitant, Oliver still followed her into the car.

She got into the driver’s seat, while he sat in the passenger seat.

It was a luxury car, and the AC was extrely cold.

As far as he knew, Ivy didn’t co from a wealthy family—but now she had just bought a car.

It looked like she’d made a lot of money from the Awakener Association.

It was said that soone who awakened with a powerful skill could receive a large amount of money—up to one million dollars.

"What!"

Oliver had just gotten into the car when he looked toward the backseat—and saw a large undead whose head nearly touched the car’s ceiling.

This wasn’t just any undead—it wore full armor that completely covered its body.

Only its glowing red eyes were visible.

At a glance, it even looked like a robot, thanks to its shining tallic armor.

"I have over a hundred undead, and the one in the back is one of the three Undead Kings," Ivy said.

"But of course, controlling over a hundred undead isn’t sothing I can do. At most, I can control ten to fifteen of them because my level is still low," she added.

Hearing this, Oliver showed a look of interest.

He suddenly realized that Ivy wasn’t here to talk about sothing weird.

The topic of conversation seed to be her undead—since she had shown them right away.

Oliver just wasn’t sure how those undead involved him.

"One of my skills allows to rge my undead with a human, so that person gains control over the undead and receives its power. Of course, it’s not a permanent fusion—they can still separate afterward. I’ve recruited several people to rge with my undead. It’s not a paid job, but aside from receiving the undead’s power, it also makes it easier for soone to cultivate. Because rging with the undead greatly enhances their affinity with death energy. They can understand scriptures and techniques related to death much faster," Ivy explained further.

Hearing all that, Oliver could only feel surprised and amazed.

Then he asked, "So you want to recruit too?"

"Yes, I want you to rge with that Undead King," Ivy replied.

Oliver couldn’t help but think deeply after hearing that.

If he were just an ordinary Cultivator, he might be very interested. But he had a Void Body and had already reached the Third Stage.

"What do you think?" Ivy asked, seeing that he remained silent.

She looked confused—since to her, this was a great offer for anyone who had failed to awaken.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t sense Oliver’s cultivation.

Void power was extrely well-hidden—arguably the hardest to detect.

"Give until tomorrow to think about it," Oliver responded.

He thought this was sothing he needed to discuss with his teacher first.

He wanted to hear her opinion about this.

When Ivy saw that he even needed ti to think, she looked more confused.

However, she still nodded at him.

"Alright, I’ll wait for your answer," she said.

"Thanks," Oliver replied before opening the car door again.

He stepped out, glancing back—only to find Ivy staring at him intensely.

Oliver didn’t know what that look ant—but it felt like he had beco her target.

That gaze still lingered in his mind, even after he closed the door and walked back toward his house.

Thankfully, by the ti he reached the front door, Ivy’s car was already driving away.

Oliver wondered whether she had sothing else she wanted to say.

After all, if it were only about recruiting him, she probably wouldn’t have wanted to take him sowhere else.

When he entered the house, he was t with strange looks from both his mother and little sister.

Their eyes barely blinked as they stared at him.

He could only give them an awkward smile before walking to the kitchen.

After getting so sleep, his body felt more at ease. At least, the pain he was feeling was now within his tolerance.

In the kitchen, he began frying fish again.
