Oliver changed his clothes, putting on long cotton pants and a long-sleeved shirt.

He couldn’t wear jeans because they were too tight around his legs, which still had wounds.

These wounds naturally needed to be hidden from his mother—or she wouldn’t allow him to go to the Chaotic World again.

’If only I had a bottle of Magical Energy Drink, I would’ve recovered quickly,’ he thought.

That drink could restore energy in an instant—not just once, but multiple tis—and the energy it provided even had its own healing properties.

It was said that one small bottle cost around 500 dollars.

Oliver didn’t have money right now, but he calculated that the total value of the Monster Cores he had collected was about 820 dollars—more than enough to buy a bottle of the Magical Energy Drink.

However, he felt too lazy to go out in his current condition.

"I wonder what happened after I left," he muttered.

An hour and a half had passed, and he was feeling curious. So, he opened his portal.

As it appeared, he leaned forward and stuck only his head through—just his head entering the Chaotic World.

"What?"

Just a mont after peeking inside, he quickly pulled his head back and closed the portal.

What he saw was a massive pride of lions—several even larger than the one he had killed.

That sight definitely spooked him, which was why he shut the portal right away.

Had he been slower, one of those lions could’ve swallowed his head.

Compared to the anacondas, he thought lions were even more terrifying.

They were smaller and nimble—practically hard to hit.

For now, Oliver had no plans to return to the Chaotic World.

The night was still long, and he figured he might as well sleep for a bit.

That could also help his wounds heal faster.

After all, last night he had only ditated—not really slept.

Sleep was still necessary to clear his mind.

He laid down on his bed. As he closed his eyes, he quickly drifted off.

Maybe about three hours had passed. The sky looked like it was beginning to turn dusk, and suddenly soone knocked on his door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Bro, bro, there’s a girl looking for you."

His little sister’s voice echoed, making Oliver open his eyes instantly.

Even though he was in a deep sleep, he would always wake up quickly if a loud voice called out to him.

He couldn’t help but be confused by what Emma said.

A girl looking for him? Who? He wondered.

He got out of bed, opened his door, and saw his little sister standing there, sucking on a candy.

"Who’s looking for ?" Oliver asked.

He was fairly handso and had a ti in the past when many girls liked him.

At his current age, that was rare—most girls started preferring guys with money.

Still, even during his most popular phase, no girl had ever co to his house.

"I don’t know, her hair’s braided in two," Emma answered.

"Ohhh, she’s really pretty. You should go et her," she added before turning and walking off.

When Oliver heard that the girl had two braids, Ivy ca to his mind imdiately.

His mory of her grew sharper—especially that awakening scene of hers.

However, since Emma said the girl was very pretty, he wasn’t quite sure.

Though Ivy was pretty, her fashion sense was terrible—she often looked unimpressive, her face always hidden behind big glasses.

Emma didn’t like that kind of look, and would never call a girl like that "pretty," let alone very pretty.

Curious, Oliver went downstairs—only to imdiately feel the curious gaze of his mother, sitting on the couch.

For the first ti, she was looking at her son differently.

Oliver felt slightly awkward under her gaze, so he avoided eye contact.

He focused on the door, where he vaguely saw the silhouette of a girl.

But from inside the house, it wasn’t very clear.

He had to go outside to see who it was.

When he finally opened the door, he was stunned.

"Ivy," he said instinctively, not expecting it to really be her.

But this woman looked completely different now.

She had taken off her large glasses, revealing a naturally beautiful face—oval-shaped, with a charming pointed nose and eyes highlighted by a touch of violet eyeliner.

And now, her eyes were red.

Though her hair was still in two braids, her outfit looked much more fashionable—tight jeans, a fitted blouse, and even a pair of large boots.

This was a look she had never shown before. She usually wore long skirts—never jeans.

Looking closely, he also noticed she wore a necklace, long earrings, and a rather luxurious watch on her left wrist.

Of course, her cold expression and indifferent attitude were still there.

Oliver didn’t just stare at her—he glanced down the street and saw a sleek black sedan parked nearby, looking brand new, without even a license plate yet.

It seed to be the car Ivy had arrived in.

Yesterday was the last ti he saw her. How could she have changed so much today—and even be driving her own car?

Oliver wondered if tomorrow her twin braids would beco a ponytail.

Not that it mattered—but why had she co to his house?

As he looked at her, Oliver narrowed his eyes slightly, faintly sensing a pressure from her strength.

It seed she had advanced—no longer the weak bookworm she once was.

"Oliver, there’s sothing I want to talk to you about. Will you co with ?" she said.

"Where to?" Oliver asked, hesitantly.

After all, tonight he was supposed to visit his teacher’s house—and now was usually the ti he cooked for his mother and younger sister.

Naturally, he felt unsure about being invited out sowhere—because the timing wasn’t right.
