Chapter 710: It’s Official
"Thank you for eting with today." Lu Chen said with a calm expression as he stared at Song Yani. The two of them were now at a cafe.
"No need." Song Yani answered.
"..." Lu Chen didn't know what to say.
"But it was pretty rude of you to leave alone with your secretary. Do you see as lower than you?" Song Yani continued to have a smile on her face as she stared at Lu Chen. Lu Chen gulped. She was taking shots at him.
Lu Chen coughed, "I never ant it like that. I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize the date of our eting matched my other schedule." Lu Chen realized it too late. He called Song Yani to have a eting to discuss using a stadium again. He thought it was alright. Song Yani was an upright and kind person.
But Lu Chen thought wrong.
"Did you really forget? Or were you having fun with Bai Xiaoqing?" Song Yani questioned with an evil smirk. Lu Chen's hand twitched. She was totally pissed.
Lu Chen sighed, "This is not my fault. I had to do it because of the old man." This was all because of Elder Bai! He was the one who threw him into this ss. He expected Lu Aotian or Lu Hao to do it. And he was definitely laughing about it behind my back! He could imagine Bai Geming laughing at him.
But as Lu Chen was in defeat and sadness,
"Pff." Lu Chen looked up to see Song Yani laughing at him. Lu Chen's expression turned blank, but it turned into a glare, "Are you ssing with ?"
Song Yani waved her hands, "Of course, I wasn't ssing around. But seeing how much you're in agony makes the situation better."
Lu Chen pouted, "You're an."
"Says the one who threw away." Song Yani added.
"Huh?" Lu Chen blinked a couple of tis.
"I can't believe it. I thought the two of us were a thing. But behind my back, you brought such a cute secretary by your side. And not only that, you even brought a couple of people too."
Lu Chen had no words to describe it. She isn't wrong. But she isn't right either. Lu Chen did have a lot of girls around him. But,
When did we start dating? That was the question he had in mind? He didn't realize he started dating Song Yani.
"We started dating when you brought out on a date." Song Yani stated.
"...!" Does that count?
"What? Do you really think we aren't dating after everything you did?" Song Yani said as she showed a video to him. It was Lu Chen asking Song Yani out at Bai Geming's party. That video had blown up as people said the two were dating.
Seeing this, Song Yani tilted her head, "So are we not dating?"
"..." Lu Chen wanted to say no. But he couldn't get it out of his mouth. Her words were correct.
"So it's official!"
