Chapter 709: The Better Question
"What did he do?" Later that night, Liu Dingxiang, ng Guang, and Liu Shoushan were in a study room. The bodyguard who was with Long Shen was there as well. This was a usual thing for the three. The bodyguard's job was to keep an eye on Long Shen.
"Sir, the target went to the Jiang Corporation." The bodyguard stated.
"The Jiang family?" Liu Dingxiang frowned when he heard that. What connection does he have with the Jiang family? But then he understood,
"I see. Thank you for your report. You may go now." Liu Dingxiang said, and the bodyguard walked away. The three were now mulling. Liu Shoushan said,
"Don't tell he's going after the Jiang family's daughter?" Jiang Feng had a daughter. And that thought ca to mind.
"No. It might be the Jiang family's new product."
"Huh? Why would he be interested in sothing like that?" Why was Long Shen interested in this?
"Probably because he heard about what happened between the Lu and Jiang family." Liu Shoushan answered. But the three frowned even more when they heard that.
"Dad, you didn't give him any money, did you?" Liu Shoushan questioned. There was sothing off with all of this. How could he invest in a company when he didn't have any money?
"Fei Fei gave it to him." Liu Dingxiang grabbed his head as he knew his daughter had given Long Shen money.
"Tsk! That girl really needs to use her head." Liu Shoushan scolded. Long Shen had his sister wrapped around his fingers. But,
"Does Fei Fei even have that much money?" Liu Shoushan added. To join the Jiang family's product, Long Shen would need to invest a lot of money. But ng Guang added,
"I don't think we need to answer the why right now. The better question we should ask is how Lu Xiaotong and Wenling will react to this?" That was the thing they should focus on. The Lu family got out of the investnt. And that caused bad blood with the Jiang family.
And now Long Shen jumped in and decided to join it. This was asking for trouble. Was he trying to start a war with the Lu family?
"Xiaotong isn't a petty person." Liu Dingxiang added. He understood his friend's character well. There was no way he would get pissed off because of this.
"But that doesn't change the face of how people will look at us." This was going to create so many problems. People would think they would fall out with the Lu family.
"..." Liu Dingxiang didn't say anything.
