Bai Geming, Bai Xiaoqing, and Bai Ling were inside the room. Bai Geming spoke,
"Kid, you're here."
"Good afternoon, Elder Bai." Lu Chen nodded his head. He rembered what Bai Geming told him about being more comfortable around him. But for Lu Xiaotong and Lu Aotian,
"Greetings, Elder Bai." Compared to Lu Chen, they were more courteous.
"Mmhmm." Bai Geming nodded and turned to Lu Chen, "Kid, sit down next to my granddaughter."
"Umm, I'm good." Lu Chen rejected it without a thought.
"Kid." Bai Geming glared at him slightly. This kid! How dare you reject sitting next to my granddaughter. Do you know how many people would kill to be in your position?!
"...Fine." Lu Chen nodded as he sat next to Bai Xiaoqing. Bai Xiaoqing had a slightly annoyed look as she asked,
"Is sitting next to that bad?" I was the class belle, you know? There would be tons of guys who would do anything to sit next to her. And this man was annoyed about sitting next to her.
"It's not bad. But it would be blinding." Lu Chen explained.
"What do you an."
"Your looks are so blinding that I can't focus on anything else. I can only stare at you." Lu Chen said calmly.
"..." You have no sense of sha. That was what the other four thought. But Lu Chen would retort to that.
Sha had nothing to do with this!
"Hmpf. You're only saying that." Bai Xiaoqing rolled her eyes. But Lu Chen insisted,
"But what I said is the truth. Ms. Bai is a bonafide beauty. The room lights up whenever you enter. Also, that smile is so divine."
"..." Bai Xiaoqing had no words to say. Bai Geming scoffed, "Alright, you brat. Stop acting like this." He knew Lu Chen was ssing around. But hearing those cringy words was enough to make him gag. He turned to Lu Xiaotong,
"I think your son told you about our acquisition of land, right."
Lu Xiaotong nodded, "Indeed. He told about it." Yesterday, Lu Chen explained everything to him. And he thought about it; this would be a great investnt opportunity.
"My son will discuss with you about everything." Bai Geming handed it over to Bai Ling. Bai Ling explained,
"Mr. Lu, we should discuss the cost." Lu Xiaotong and Bai Ling got down to business.
...I don't think I could get into that. The way the two talked was incredible. They were on another level. Lu Aotian seed to understand a good amount of it compared to him.
"I'm going to eat." Lu Chen sighed as he got up and left to get so food.
"Hmm? You're coming with ?" Lu Chen noticed Bai Xiaoqing getting up as well.
"Of course."
"But don't you need to listen to the conversation? Aren't you helping out your family too?" Lu Chen questioned. Like Lu Aotian, Bai Xiaoqing was helping out too.
"Don't need to. Since Father and your dad are talking, there's no need for to stay here." Bai Xiaoqing added, "What? Do you not want to stand next to you?"
