Chapter 401: She's your woman?!
"!" Deng Haoren's face showed surprise. But then he glares at Deng Yi,
"What did you do?" Two pairs of dagger eyes are pointed at him now.
"I-I didn't do anything!" Deng Yi backs away a bit. But then he points at Lu Chen, "He's lying to you, father!" He stutters as he denies this. But that just made him even more suspicious.
Lu Chen lets out a haughty laugh, "Why would I be lying to your father and screwing this deal over? But fine, I'll play your ga. Let say a na; Feng ifeng."
"!" Ti froze for Deng Yi. His entire expression drops to the ground, turning pale.
'How does he even know her?!' Lu Chen and Feng ifeng are from two completely different worlds. So how do they know each other?
"Feng ifeng?" The only person who's out of the loop is Deng Haoren. He asks Lu Chen, "May I know what my son did?" Knowing his son's personality, he definitely did sothing wrong. And hearing the na as well, he knew his son was after another girl again.
But now he questions,
'What is her relationship to the CEO?'
"Heh, I'll tell you what he did; he was trying to blackmail my won." Lu Chen's voice is so cold that you can feel the room turning into ice. But that just shows how severe it was.
"She's your woman?!" Deng Yi just poked the tiger's back. How was he supposed to know that Feng ifeng was Lu Chen's woman?! The coincidence was too deadly.
"..." But his face was nothing compared to Deng Haoren's face. There are no words to say what his son did. Harassing Lu Chen's woman. That in itself is just unspeakable.
Lu Chen continues, "Mr. Deng, if you don't believe , you can check the project dates given to Feng Hui. You should get the picture from all of that."
Deng Haoren shakes his head, "No, I don't need any more information. I understand what my son did." There's no need to check.
He trusted what Lu Chen said.
"Dad!" Deng Yi shouts out at his father, not believing what he just said.
"I will take my son off as acting director and project. And he'll never take up the CEO position as well." With all of this, this is the right choice. If Deng Yi takes control of the company, it will only lead the company to ruin.
"Please, dad! I'm sorry! I really didn't an it." Deng Yi's expression turns pale when he hears that. He never expects to be off of the CEO position just like that.
"Begging won't get you anywhere. There are so things you shouldn't be doing. Accept the consequences." Lu Chen's cold words kept stabbing into him.
A limit was broken when he pulled sothing like this.
Deng Haoren bows towards Lu Chen, "I'm truly sorry about what happened to your wife. I will take appropriate asures for sothing like this to never happen again." It shouldn't only be Deng Yi who causes trouble like this. Deng Haoren needs to do a reevaluation on everybody.
'My wife?' Lu Chen doesn't expect him to say sothing like that. But he wasn't going to deny it now.
He waves his hand, "Mr. Deng, I'm willing to have the sponsorship with you. However, it just can't be Deng Yi being the one to do this project."
Compared to Deng Yi, Deng Haoren is more upright than him. It makes Lu Chen wonder whether or not the two are actually related. His expression was weird when he thought of this.
But Deng Haoren thought sothing was up when he saw his weird expression. Sothing was missing.
Then he realized, "I will personally apologize to your wife for all the problems caused by my son." The only thing Deng Haoren missed was the apology to Feng ifeng. She was the one who was affected the most.
"mmhmm." Lu Chen doesn't say more and grunts. He notices the miscommunication. But that miscommunication was sothing he's going to take advantage of.
"We shall take our leave." Deng Haoren grabs onto Deng Yi and drags him out of the building.
"Dad, are you really going to not make the CEO?! I'm your eldest son!" Deng Yi screams out like a child! He's the eldest. He should be the one to inherit the family business.
But what ca after was a slap to the face!
