Sotis, people didn’t need words to convey sothing, but others still used them. Xavier knew Aegon didn’t need to hear those words, but he still wanted to thank him sincerely.
Aegon understood that, but he felt awkward being on the receiving end. He couldn’t help but think, ’I didn’t even do much, so why are you thanking ?’
Fortunately, they didn’t ntion it after that, so Aegon shared his pancakes with others, as they watched the next matches.
Just because their first match was easy didn’t an others would be the sa.
"Hmm!!! So good!!" Rosa moaned in delight, as she took a bite. Then she gave a big thumbs up to Aegon, saying, "It’s good that you’re such a good cook, Future Hubby. I love it!!"
"That he is!" Cali agreed imdiately, as she also tasted the pancakes. "Wait! You don’t know how to cook?"
"Don’t know how to cook and want to beco his wife? Tsk tsk! What a disappointnt!" Elara shook her head, as she also savored the pancakes.
"I can cook enemies!" Rosa glared at Elara, gritting her teeth. "I just didn’t get the cooking part. So don’t try ."
"Oh, I can definitely cook. Just telling you," Elara smiled, irritating Rosa even more.
"You’ll definitely make a good wife, brother!" Xavier also gave a thumbs up, while eating three pancakes simultaneously.
"I really wanna punch your face sotis. Wait! Can your tongue heal?" Aegon’s lips twitched at his words.
Xavier looked at him in confusion before devouring two more pancakes and said, "Yes, I can heal tongues too. You got any problems?"
"Oh that’s good!" Aegon smiled widely, took out a black soap and placed it on Xavier’s pancakes. "Now you can eat it. I added so cheese."
"Cheese my ass!" Xavier cursed, hurriedly backing away from the soap. "Stop playing these jokes. What if my mouth didn’t heal properly?"
"Then, we won’t have to hear your nonsense," Cali said, smirking at him. Not even for a second did she feel pity for her little brother.
"And you won’t eat so much," Aegon shook his head and said. "You eat like a pig. Why? You want to beco fatass?"
"Because I like food!" Xavier retorted. "Also, I already learned a few spells which help keep my body healthy."
Hearing that, all four heads snapped towards Xavier, as he realised his error and hurriedly shut his mouth. Sweating, he laughed dryly, "Haha! It’s a joke! A joke!"
Cali cracked her knuckles and smiled, "Perhaps, I’ve been too lenient on you. You actually dare use such thods, huh?"
"Following nature is the best path to improve, so why do you use such crude ways, Xav?" Elara asked, as pale green vines grew out of the floor, binding Xavier in an instant.
"Grrrr! Food is digested by exercising, not such shitty thods!" Rosa groaned.
Aegon shrugged, "You got into this, so be prepared."
Then the three ladies took Xavier to a corner, teaching him the ways of Knight, which Aegon casually ignored. He didn’t really want to see how he would learn that lesson.
’Well, saying that to Knights is idiotic!’ Aegon thought, turning towards the screen.
A new match had already started between House Ares and House Thor.
’Wow! First exciting match. Also, this is once again a copy.’
Houses based on God’s nas were rare and powerful. There were only twelve of them, each being a pillar of the Academy. And as Aegon had expected, the Gods’ nas sounded too familiar for him.
Ares, the Greek God of War and Courage.
Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, Lightning and Storms.
They shared the sa title in this world except for their origin. Here, they were just Gods whose influence was quite a lot. Though the supre remained Apollo, the Sun God, and Nyx, the Goddess of Darkness.
One was worshiped by the humans and the other by demons.
’Co to think of it, Greek has more influence.’
So, the Houses sharing nas with Gods seed destined to rise. For years, this had remained consistent. New Houses rose while old fell, but the twelve God Houses remained at the top.
Battle between House Ares and House Thor would definitely be good. Aegon also needed to watch them closely, as these twelve Houses would definitely pose problems for him.
’Well, aside from two Imperial Family Houses.’ Aegon thought, rembering the two faces he saw back during the ceremony.
Raphael and Gabriel were both participating.
’Fourteen teams to look out for. A few dark horses might rise.’ Aegon thought, narrowing his eyes. ’Well, one gets eliminated here.’
Then, he focused on the battle more. It was more intense than previous ones, as the two Houses were similar power-wise. A total of five Rank 5 students on each side.
’Seems like Rank 5 is where all seniors reach, but they aren’t equal in strength.’ Aegon thought, realising how all twelve God Houses’ teams were composed of Rank 5 Students.
’And sotis a Rank 6 cos. Rarely!’
Aegon watched the battle with interest, as it was definitely more thrilling. He especially liked the Marksman on Team Ares, who used a strange lance coated in darkness.
He threw it, as it passed through the enemies, dealing heavy damage. However, what caught Aegon’s interest was the endless supply of lances.
’There are probably ten or sothing. Others return to him, after all. Still pretty good.’
For his ultimate, as Aegon called their strongest move due to his past experience, the man could throw the spear to great lengths. If it hit the target, he could teleport to its location as the attack left deep darkness swirling on impact.
’So interesting!’
Fascination swirled in his eyes, as Aegon ate pancakes. Magic had already beco his obsession in a way, so every day he saw new fascinating things, he got interested in them.
He was curious about how his spear actually worked and if he could replicate it. After all, he also had Darkness Affinity.
His mind was already churning out ideas and theories on how it might work, but he still needed to test them out or ask that man himself.
’Having a perfect mory is so much helpful. If I couldn’t rember all this information, I couldn’t even form theories or spells.’
He once again thanked the system and focused more on the battle. It was taking an interesting turn.
And there were many more students he was interested in or rather, interested in how their magic worked.
In a world of magic where everything was possible, people had their own magic.
He was going to learn them all.
