100X Return System: My Talent Awakening Becomes a God-Level Cheat Chapter 22: The Awaited Battle [3]
The battle was already decided as soon as the tir reached the zeros.
The entire region; about half of one mile radius was engulfed by the skill [Particle Execution].
Each monsters were warped by an imdiate purple space with microscopic, high-velocity particles teleported inside their body all at once from every direction.
After they had all been covered, in a second they were all simultaneously bombarded from the inside out, as if struck by a billion impossible punches.
No single monster was fortunate enough to escape this ability as they were all erased from existence.
During this period, the area was beaming with purple light because of the ability.
While everything had cleared, Aegon managed to stand to his feet, and look around.
There was no single monster around, but his mind didn’t stay still. He felt that sothing was still missing.
"That monster..."
Just as he thought of the largest monster, he turned, and before he knew it, he was sent flying to a far distance.
This ti Aegon didn’t lose balance but rolled and landed on his feet. His eyes instantly gazing on the monster at the other distance.
This ti it wasn’t two monsters but one one.
"So the skill didn’t affect it after all, huh?"
Sothing was strange about the monster. It was covered in a blue like armor made out of mana.
’Is that a skill?’ Aegon wondered, inwardly.
It was true, the monster had escaped his ability when he used it, because it had mana and so skills in its arsenal.
Aegon stood straight, and looked at the side of his eyes.
[HP: 75/100]
The blow in which he had gotten from the monster had already taken away five health points.
"Tch..."
Seeing this, Aegon felt a bit frustrated.
"If I let that monster hit again, I could suffer serious damage."
His eyes scanned the area carefully to see if by any chance there was another image of the monster, but there wasn’t.
The one standing before him was the real one.
"Just how many skills does this monster have?"
The question crossed Aegon’s mind, though he didn’t want to wait and find out unless he would be at a disadvantage.
Although he would have liked to prolong the fight, he didn’t have a weapon whatsoever that he could use to strike physically.
It would have made sense if he was able to fight back and forth with the monster, showing his stamina and ability all without using a single ability.
But ti was one thing he didn’t have.
Aegon looked at the system at his side and saw both his HP and MP.
[HP: 75/100]
[MP: 19/22]
His gaze fell on his MP and noticed that it had already been reduced by three.
"It would seem [Particle Execution] takes a lot of MP."
Aegon was satisfied with the outco, although it cost him three points, it wasn’t all bad.
"In that case, I guess it is ti to use that one."
By that ’one’, he was referring to the current ability he had just obtained earlier and hasn’t used yet.
He stepped forward and began to walk. As the monster saw this, it also began to walk forward as it knew they were already at the pinnacle of their battle.
Aegon picked up the pace and began running towards the monster, and so also did the monster.
They had a massive distance between them, but for every second, they covered more ground.
Aegon didn’t do anything but run and the monster was a bit puzzled. However, it didn’t worry much.
As the monster ran, it began forming a red ball of light on its head. It was a massive ball of mana that when designated was capable of destroying an entire region.
As the distance between Aegon and the monster closed to about twenty feet, the monster bent its head.
The ball of mana expanded, and then fired straight at Aegon like a canon ball.
The blast moved in a straight line and exploded at about fifty feet away from the monster, turning every single thing in the area into nothing but smithereens.
The explosion lasted for about five seconds and after it stopped, followed a cloud of smoke and dust.
The monster couldn’t see anything, as the cloud of dust obstructed its view. However, just then, the smoke began to clear and its vision was clear.
Before the monster was a massive straight long hole in the ground. The ground had been split into two, with a distance of about sixty feet.
It was wide, and filled with the aftermath of the destruction; portions of flas still tucked to the walls.
The monster felt satisfied because it didn’t see Aegon and there was no reason for it to worry.
After all, how could such a re human survive that massive strike?
In that mont, a voice echoed behind the monster, saying.
"You thought I was dead?"
It was Aegon.
He had moved with incredible speed and dodged the blast when it was fired.
If it was any of the regular Farrs that was facing that blast, it would have been impossible for them to evade it because the speed was incredibly fast.
However, Aegon did. He was the only one who could dodge such an attack in this place.
As Aegon appeared behind the monster, and spoke, his expression was filled with excitent, a surge of adrenaline coursing through his body.
Just then, he spoke the words.
"Ability Active... Colossal Gate!"
Imdiately, Aegon jumped backwards give as much distance as he could because he didn’t want to get caught of in [Colossal Gate]
The na itself was enough to tell what it was.
As the ability was activated, two colossal warp gates appeared and opened. They were both mixed with the color purple and gold.
One of the gates was linked to the heart of a star, the other to the accretion disk of a pulsar.
The gates were aid so the stream of superheated plasma and relativistic particles intersect, creating a crossfire of stellar annihilation that could scour a continent clean.
Both heavenly creations ca out of the gate and surrounded the massive monster, who now looked like an ant among giants.
The two cosmic bodies collided and ford a shimring, violet-gold event horizon, a localized singularity of pure gravitational chaos.
Where the searing, golden solar flare t the jagged purple-black lightning of the pulsar’s accretion disk, the laws of physics simply surrendered.
The intersection didn’t just explode; it imploded first, drawing the atmosphere, the light, and the very screams of the massive monster into the crushing vacuum.
Then ca the stellar refraction; the superheated plasma was compressed by the pulsar’s magnetic field until it reached a critical density, detonating in a synchronized burst of gamma rays and kinetic shockwaves.
The "ant" at the center was caught in a cosmic vise. The star’s heat began to lt its physical form, while the pulsar’s relativistic particles stripped away its essence at a subatomic level.
The collision stabilized a Celestial Vortex, a spinning wheel of annihilation that humd with a frequency that cracked the bedrock of the ring.
It wasn’t just a collision, this was Particle Execution on a planetary scale.
For a few heart-stopping seconds, the two gates didn’t just channel energy, they forged a temporary "micro nova" that turned the battlefield into a blinding purple void where even shadows were erased.
...
In a far distance, where a lot of Farrs gathered about a hundred; their gaze on the Pedestal Crystal, a single voice spoke, pointing.
"What is that?"
Every head turned as their gaze landed on the shimring purple void at a far distance from them.
"Is that..."
They were all in awe as they felt the energy that ca from the lights, and just then shockwaves spread, reaching their area.
The whole ground shaking like an earthquake had occurred.
Whatever was going on in that part of the ring was so intense that it reached all the way to where they were staying.
Nyra, who was covering her face with her right hand from the shockwave, had only one thought in her heart.
"Aegon..."
