Were there people who could live for thousands of years?

Sunless had a guess that there were and that those people were hidden in only one place...

The spirit continent!

That’s right! Sunless believed that with how short the span of ti for the spiritual energy on earth, it was impossible for such people to be born.

If that was the case then they would be crown monsters amongst monsters.

But it was highly possible in the spirit continent which had existed for an unknown number of ti!

Sunless’ mind raced with thoughts as he ca down to this conclusion of the matter!

After the checkup, sunless and his sister no longer needed to stay at the hospital anymore, so sunless decided that they should get a house to be living in the an ti.

It was also the ti for sunless to repay sonia for everything she had done over the years.

He didn’t like owing anyone, most especially, not a lady, not that there was anything bad there.

Sunless relayed his thoughts of moving to a new apartnt with the two, and jane’s eyes lit up at the idea.

’I’m glad that things are progressing much differently than in my previous life...’

She smiled sweetly at sunless’ words, eagerly anticipating the apearance of their new house.

On the contrary, sonia looked stunned and bewildered.

As she stared at sunless, her eyes slowly wideneed in shock.

"You’re leaving?" she asked, and her voice contained different notes of emotions.

Sunless nodded, not noticing the change in her expression.

"We’d be coming regularly for checkups, but aside that i don’t see any reason why we should stay here."

His sentense made sonia’s expression darken with each word.

When he was done her face was as gloomy as it could be.

"Okay," she replied like a ek rabbit.

Sunless glanced at her puzzledly, wondering why she suddenly changed.

Shaking his head, he glanced towards jane and nodded.

Jane got the cue and they began packing the little things they had brought with them, to leave.

An hour later, sunless and jane left the hospital.

Sonia told them she had so work at the hospital so she couldn’t follow them to their new place.

After chatting with her for a few more minutes, sunless and jane left.

Previously, jane had revealed that she knew the perfect place to get a house without sunless to spend anything.

Although sunless was intruigued by the suggestion, wondering how his sister would play it out, he decided not to ask and just let her surprise him.

...

They boarded a car and his sister dirrected the driver to a remote location.

Within more than thirty minutes they arived at sothing akin to an estate.

The mont they arrived at the estate, sunless eyes widened in surprise.

The estate was extrely large, containing a line up of houses.

Its infrastructure was simply spendid and emphasised in grandeur. With dark blue colors lined with white, it gave the estate a grand look.

Even the driver slowed down drastically, taking in the sight of the estate as he drove in.

Gradually, the car neared a black gate located a few ters away from them.

At the black gate were more than three guards and the mont they arrived the guards hailed for the car to stop.

The driver brought the car to a stop and glanced nervously at the guards, while also glancing at the mirror that reflected sunless and jane’ images.

"What are you doing here?" he asked with cold, stern eyes, scrutinizing them intently as his gaze road about the vehicle.

It was very rare to see taxis around here as most of the owners of the estate chose to use their own luxurious cars.

As such, it was extrely puzzling to see an estate at this ti, especially since it was a new era florishing with technology and martial warriors.

The driver gulped nervously as he stared at the ard n.

"I’m leading them here."he pointed to sunless and jane as he inished speaking.

The driver turned his cold, stern eyes in their direction and jane broke into a smile then flashed a card in his direction.

"Here." she waved sothing that seed like a black card towards the man.

The man’s expresssison imdiately changed teh mont he saw the black card.

Before he was cold and accessing, but suddenly, his eyes beca filled with respect and confusion.

Since he had never seen sunless and jane around these parts and had been working for more than twenty years, it was unstandable why he was confused.

"We’re new." jane interrupted the man’s thoughts, clearing his confusion.

"Oh," the guard muttered, then nodded.

There was no further need to check their identity as the card couldn’t be faked.

Here at the estate, the guards didn’t recognise faces, but the black cards as a proof of identity.

These black cards were specially built in such a way that it couldn’t be faked in the slightest.

As he put on a professional smile on his face, he watched as the car sped into the estate.

The driver’s facial expression changed slightly, and he quickly went over the whole situation since he arrived here.

’Good. i didn’t act rudely, put on any airs. I have been polite since i picked them up... in this case i can expect so sort of tip...’

The thought made a grin appear across the driver’s face, but he quickly composed himself s he wouldnt be misunderstood.

"Where to next, miss." the driver asked.

"Head left, two blocks after that." jane explained, and turned to her brother.

"It’s the key belonging to the official from before."

"Oh," sunless tried to recall and seed to rember his sister taking sothing from the desk which he didn’t pay much attention to back then.

’She had planned for this already?’ sunless guessed internaly.

With a wry smile on his face he didn’t pay much attention to the stuff.

The driver followed jane’s direction and arrived at a house smoothly.

The mont they arrived, sunless glanced up, and studied the house closely.
