Day Ninety-Six…
Nathan didn't know how Ethan managed to locate Vincent's hideout. Though it wasn't confird yet, he was willing to deploy his n and listen to his son. He already felt desperate for not getting any clue about Jane's location.
"Gather our n! Surround this area. Make sure no one will leave the building!" Nathan gave his command without hesitation.
"We will infiltrate this building today with the Syphiruz. Prepare. We will leave in a few minutes!" Mr. Hiroshi also spoke up, commanding his n.
Both mbers of the Syphiruz Mafia and the Sawada Clan planned how to infiltrate the building while preventing Vincent and his n from escaping. They had to block all the routes.
Nathan and Mr. Hiroshi joined this rescue mission as they couldn't stay still, worrying about Jane's safety.
"Dad! Can I go with you?" Ethan asked his father.
"No, Ethan. This is a dangerous mission. You should stay with your Aunt Cherry and Uncle Aiden," Nathan said firmly, rejecting Ethan's request. He knew the risks this mission could bring and couldn't allow his son to face such danger.
Moreover, he couldn't let Ethan witness bloodshed. Nathan had reached the point where he was ready to kill Vincent. This ti, there would be no forgiveness and rcy. He had to end his vengeful brother's madness for everyone's sake.
Before they left, Nathan called his father, Old Man Xu.
"Dad, I'm sorry but I can no longer tolerate this. Your son killed Jane's comrades. If we didn't–," Nathan wasn't able to finish his words.
"I heard everything. There is no need to explain. I know… I can't change your mind no matter what I say. I failed you. I failed both of you. This is sothing I can no longer fix," Old Man Xu said, his voice heavy with remorse.
His two sons were now fighting to the death and Old Man Xu didn't know what he should do anymore. This deep-rooted hatred had started because of him.
"I have to go now, Dad. Ti is of the essence." Nathan didn't prolong his conversation with his father. He could sense that his father didn't want this to happen, but he couldn't promise to spare Vincent's life.
"Is there nothing I can do to stop them?" Old Man Xu glanced at Butler Li who was standing next to him.
Butler Li was also saddened when he overheard the conversation between Old Man Xu and Nathan.
"Old Man Xu, I need your help. I know soone who can make my nephew stop this madness. I hope we can still resolve this peacefully."
Butler Li shared his plan with Old Man Xu. Nathan's father was surprised when Butler Li told him sothing related to Vincent.
"Alright. I'll mobilize my n to fetch that child and bring her to Nathan as soon as possible!" Old Man Xu didn't hesitate to cooperate with Butler Li's plan.
anwhile, back to the hotel, Ethan kept pacing back and forth across his room. Cherry and Aiden were the ones taking care of him.
Cherry was busy hacking the CCTV caras around Vincent's hideout. Aiden sat next to her, staring at the laptop screen.
As the two remained engrossed in their tasks, Ethan seized the opportunity to talk to Bam-Bam.
"Bam-Bam, will my Mommy be alright?" he asked the magical creature worriedly. "Can you please keep her safe?"
"Master Ethan, I don't know what will happen next. I have no power to intervene. I can only help you in finding her location. I'm losing my magical power too," Bam-Bam replied to him truthfully. The magical creature was also worried because he couldn't guarantee Jane's safety.
"I can't stay here, Bam-Bam. I want to see my mommy. I want to see my daddy saving my mommy!"
"But Master Ethan, you should listen to your father. He can focus on rescuing your mother if you stay here," Bam-Bam urged, trying to convince Ethan to remain in a safe place instead of joining the rescue mission for Jane.
"I don't know what but I have a bad feeling about this, Bam-Bam. I have to inform Dad sothing. All he needs to do is confess his feelings to my mother. I don't want people to die. I guess… it's the best way to solve this matter." Ethan was also thinking of the sa thing.
Bam-Bam nodded in agreent. "Yes. That's the best solution to save your mother without killing people. They have to talk!"
"Let's go, Bam-Bam! I have to follow my Dad!" Ethan was so determined to join his father in this rescue mission.
Bam-Bam could only sigh in defeat. "Alright. I'll guide you to the place."
With the help of Bam-Bam, Ethan managed to sneak out of the hotel without Aiden and Cherry's knowledge. They rode a taxi cab going to the address.
anwhile, Vincent's hideout was located in a fourteen-story building in the capital city. The mbers of the Sawada Clan and the Syphiruz Mafia started to arrive, surrounding the building. So of them disguised themselves as civilians.
Nathan also coordinated with the local police, instructing them not to interfere with their rescue operation. Using Mr. Hiroshi's influence, they managed to get the local authorities to cooperate with them.
The local police were assigned to prevent anyone from entering the periter area and were warned that the fugitives possessed explosives.
As Nathan's n took their positions around the area, the police authorities discreetly evacuated the civilians, ensuring they wouldn't be caught in the crossfire. After an hour, Nathan received a go signal from the local police chief, informing him that civilians were evacuated from the area.
Only the people inside the fourteen-story building were not inford about the evacuation because it might alerted Vincent and his n.
"Supre Leader, our n are in position, awaiting your command," Joker inford Nathan.
"Did we get any confirmation that Vincent and his n are inside the building?" Nathan asked Joker. "Is Jane inside?"
"Sir, Black Rose is still reviewing the CCTV footage around the areas. Let's wait if the CCTV spotted the ambulance that took Lady Jane last night," Joker replied.
Nathan clenched his jaw. He could no longer wait. He wanted to infiltrate the building now.
"Tell Spider and Violet to infiltrate the building. I'll give them twenty minutes to confirm whether Jane is inside the building or not."
Joker was taken aback for a mont. 'What? He gave them only twenty minutes to find Lady Jane in a fourteen-story building? This is crazy.'
"Copy, Supre Leader. I'll relay your command."
Joker left while scratching his head. He just hoped Violet and Spider would be able to search for Lady Jane within the given ti. Their Supre Leader was very impatient now.
Mr. Hiroshi approached Nathan, tapping his back. "Don't worry, Nate. Tatsumi and Hanabi are also on the move. We will find my daughter soon!"
Nathan could only bob his head, still uneasy. "I hope she is fine. Vincent didn't call for any negotiation. I'm so worried about her."
"Supre Leader! Supre Leader!" Joker ca back.
"What is it?" Nathan frowned when Joker returned.
"Your father sent a few n here," Joker inford him.
"It's fine. Let them join the operation." Nathan simply instructed him.
"But Supre Leader… they brought a child… a young girl."
Nathan and Mr. Hiroshi were dumbfounded upon hearing that.
