I did not remain standing there without doing anything.

I wasn’t confident in Alisa’s ability to maintain the illusion for a long ti, so I calmly and cautiously began spreading the Altaria threads very slowly toward the group of students facing us. I knew the illusion could collapse at any mont, and when that happened, our situation would be exposed...

I didn’t have much confidence in our ability to face this number of students either, even if they were of the lowest ranks in the academy. The reason was clear to , and that was why I acted in advance.

I extended the Altaria threads toward them, so slowly they were almost impossible to notice, so that I would be ready at the mont the illusion collapsed. I made sure to do it without any noticeable movent...

I was completely focused...

until I heard Alisa’s voice.

Her voice was calm. I turned toward her and saw a spot of blood slowly flowing from her nose, a sight that confird my fears.

She said in a low but firm voice:

"Everyone, get ready... I won’t be able to hold on much longer. The illusion is about to collapse, so we will attack imdiately."

Then she turned her gaze toward Enzai and added:

"Enzai, did you prepare what I asked you for?"

Enzai was standing with difficulty. Brown-colored threads were tightly wrapped around his body. His face was pale, sweat was pouring down his forehead, and his breathing was clearly uneven.

He slowly nodded and said in a tired voice:

"Yes... I have done what you asked."

He said it while struggling to catch his breath, as if every word he spoke cost him extra effort.

Alisa looked at him for a mont, then said in a softer tone:

"Alright... you can rest now."

Then she turned to the rest of us, and seriousness appeared on her features despite the obvious exhaustion.

"As for the rest of you, each one hide behind a tree and wait for my instructions. Do not move until I give the signal."

We moved quickly without wasting a single second. When I hid behind one of the trees, an arrogant voice reached from the opposite direction.

The red-haired one was speaking with excessive confidence, as if victory was already guaranteed. He said in a voice full of contempt:

"You focus on the tall one over there, and leave this big, stupid fish to us... we’ll grill it, cut it up, and eat it, until not a trace of it remains."

He finished his words while turning toward a green-haired girl, as if waiting for her confirmation.

"Isn’t that right, Minnie?"

Minnie smiled coldly and said in a tone filled with hatred:

"Of course. Let’s crush her pride and arrogance. I hate the way she always looks at us... as if we’re just worthless side characters."

She paused for a mont, then added with shining eyes:

"I will erase that look from her face myself. Let’s go... Alex."

As I listened to their words, I felt embarrassed on their behalf.

I muttered inwardly:

This is how third-rate villains always are... vulgar words, false confidence, and far too much noise. Why do they always talk in the sa useless way...

While I was lost in my thoughts, Alex’s group moved forward without hesitation.

Alex suddenly raised his voice and said:

"Don’t retreat! Everyone attack... at the sa ti!"

In the next mont, a thick cloud of dust exploded at the place they charged toward, completely blocking vision.

Alex waved his arms, trying to clear the dust from his face, his voice filled with confusion:

"What happened?!"

But before he could finish his sentence, he felt sothing strange. The ground beneath him was no longer stable... as if it had begun to swallow him slowly. The pulling sensation increased, and fear crept into his voice.

At that mont, Alex jumped backward with all his strength, and almost at the sa ti, Minnie leapt away lightly.

Alex scread at the top of his lungs toward the rest of his team:

"Get away! Get back quickly—!"

But it was already too late.

Their reaction was slower.

When they tried to retreat, they discovered that their feet no longer responded. Their bodies were bound to the ground, as if sothing invisible was gripping them tightly, preventing them from moving no matter how hard they tried...

Before he could comprehend what was happening, blue arrows tinged with purple suddenly shot out without any warning, heading directly toward the heads of the mbers of his group.

One after another.

The arrows tore through the air with a sharp sound, and when they hit their targets, the Aina energy inside their bodies ignited violently. Their heads burned from the inside before white foam spilled from their mouths, and their bodies collapsed to the ground unconscious, unable to withstand what they had endured.

Alex’s eyes widened in terror.

He followed the trajectory of the arrows with his gaze until he reached their source.

There... stood Alisa.

Her body was steady, her gaze cold, as she gathered Aina at an astonishing speed, firing arrow after arrow without hesitation or pause, as if she were a machine designed solely for extermination.

mbers of Alex’s team fell one after another, unable to resist or even scream.

Alex shouted with hysterical rage:

"You damned bitch! Stop what you’re doing imdiately!"

But Alisa paid no attention to him at all.

All she did was aim another arrow directly at him.

Alex barely dodged it, twisting his body at the last mont before retreating backward quickly. In an angry motion, he drew both of his swords and began gathering Aina around his body.

Threads ford, wrapping tightly around him, then flowing onto the blades of his swords. With a sharp shout, he swung both swords at once.

Sharp wind blades shot out at trendous speed, cutting through the air as they headed toward Alisa.

Alisa moved lightly and gracefully, dodging most of the attacks, but one of the wind blades grazed her shoulder slightly. Her body jolted, and she stepped back once as a drop of blood flowed from her shoulder.

She imdiately tried to gather Aina around herself again...

but she couldn’t.

She had already used a large amount of Aina, and her body was beginning to refuse to continue at the sa pace.

When Alex noticed this, a savage smile of joy appeared on his face.

Now...

He quickly turned toward Minnie to ask for her support and shouted:

"Minnie! Now—"

But the words died in his throat.

The sight he saw froze the blood in his veins.

Minnie was suspended in place, invisible threads gripping her from every direction, pulling at her limbs and restraining her body completely. She couldn’t move... not even scream.

Fate didn’t give him another second.

Before he could finish his sentence or take a single step, the sa threads wrapped around him as well...
