"Is this Ryuo?" Robin had been standing nearby, observing the Haki in Mio's hand with evident curiosity.
"That's right." Mio nodded. He waved his right hand, and the Armant Haki burst forth, sweeping around him like a powerful wave. It was no longer rely clinging to his body—it could now be released at will, similar to Conqueror's Haki. This advanced Ryuo could even strike into an enemy's body directly.
"Co on, Qiongqi," Mio said with a grin, an eager glint in his eyes. With a shout, he took a step forward, and his figure shot out like a bullet. The battle resud in an instant.
Qiongqi didn't hesitate. He t Mio's charge with a powerful punch.
Although he had just taken a hit from Ryuo, it hadn't caused any serious damage.
The clash continued for another half hour. During this ti, Mio beca completely familiar with using Ryuo in real combat, and eventually, the fight ca to an end.
Mio accepted the towel handed over by Erica, wiping the sweat from his brow. Then, he grabbed a bottle of whiskey and drank it down in heavy gulps. After finishing the whole bottle in one go, he exhaled deeply with satisfaction.
Learning Ryuo today was a significant gain.
Just then, a pirate ran up urgently and whispered sothing to Katsumata Takeru, who frowned and turned to Mio to report.
"Lord Black Crow, Araki just sent word—a big figure has entered the Black Crow Sea."
"A big figure?" Mio's brows furrowed. He asked in a serious tone, "Who?"
"Whitebeard," Katsumata Takeru replied.
"Whitebeard?"
Surprise flickered in Mio's eyes. "Do we know what they're doing here?"
"It seems they've co for us," Takeru said. "According to Araki's ssage, they want to et you."
"Then have Araki bring him here," Mio ordered with a grin. Whitebeard? Let him co. With his current strength and the power of the Black Crow Pirates, Mio had no reason to fear Whitebeard.
After all, this was the Black Crow's base camp.
In terms of subordinates, the captains under Whitebeard might not even be able to defeat Baifeng and the others.
Moreover, the island was swarming with crows infused with demonic power—more than enough to annihilate the ordinary pirates in Whitebeard's fleet.
Even if they numbered over a thousand, they'd be nothing compared to the tens of thousands of Black Crow's demonic crows. In that kind of battle, there would only be one outco.
"Yes!" Seeing his leader unfazed and even excited, Katsumata Takeru responded with enthusiasm and turned to carry out the order.
This was the Black Crow's territory. So what if it was Whitebeard?
With Lord Black Crow here, they had nothing to fear.
Katsumata Takeru imdiately picked up the Den Den Mushi and contacted Araki, relaying Mio's instructions.
Black Crow Sea
On the deck of the pirate ship, Araki put down the Den Den Mushi. He turned to Marco, the First Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, and said calmly, "Lord Black Crow has given permission. I'll guide you—please follow ."
"Alright." Marco grinned, then leapt into the air, his body transforming into a majestic blue phoenix. Flas of blue fire trailed behind him as he soared through the sky, landing gracefully on the Moby Dick anchored nearby.
"Dad, they agreed to let us go," Marco said as he approached Whitebeard.
"Then let's go et them," Whitebeard nodded, setting down his large bowl of wine. A glint of intrigue flashed in his eyes as he looked in the direction of Crow Island.
His seasoned intuition and powerful strength told him that the people on this island were not ordinary.
This ti, he would personally assess this rising monster known as the Black Crow.
The Moby Dick followed behind the Araki Pirates as they approached Crow Island.
Before long, they were docked.
In the distance, a massive castle towered in the center of the island, while nurous pirates stood guard along the shores.
Joz frowned slightly. "These pirates who follow Black Crow... none of them look like newcors. They're all seasoned fighters from the New World."
"I heard the Black Crow Pirates focus on an elite path," Marco said, his brows knitting together. "It seems their followers are chosen with that sa standard."
This alone revealed Black Crow's ambition—he clearly valued strength above all, and it was obvious what kind of future he was preparing for.
On the Island
Baifeng approached the shore alongside Hei Yan and others.
"Master Baifeng," Araki called out as he spotted him.
Baifeng gave a small nod, then turned toward the Moby Dick and said with a welcoming smile, "The master welcos Whitebeard's arrival. Good wine and good at await you on the island. Please co ashore and follow ."
"Gurararara! Good wine and good at? Then I'm looking forward to it." Whitebeard stood up, holding the Supre Grade blade Kusugawa Kirei in one hand, and slowly stepped off the ship.
With each step he took, his aura swelled—oppressive and overwhelming.
His presence alone stirred the air, causing an invisible pressure to descend upon the shore.
Araki and the others broke into cold sweat from the sheer weight of Whitebeard's aura. Despite themselves, their legs trembled slightly.
But at that mont, a figure stepped forward from the island.
The aura surrounding this new arrival flared up, colliding head-on with Whitebeard's montum.
The clashing pressures exploded invisibly, canceling each other out.
Only then did Araki and the others exhale in relief, though their bodies remained tense. Their foreheads were slick with sweat.
Whitebeard's aura alone was enough to evoke fear in n like them. That was the power of a legend.
"The visitor is a guest—as long as there is no hostility," Qiongqi said indifferently, his expression calm. He recognized Whitebeard's strength, but there was no fear in his voice.
To be honest, Whitebeard wasn't much stronger than him.
It was the Tremor-Tremor Fruit that made Whitebeard so terrifying.
But if it ca to a fight, Whitebeard couldn't kill him.
And conversely, he couldn't kill Whitebeard either.
"What a powerful aura," Marco muttered beside Whitebeard, staring at Qiongqi with a serious expression.
That montum was suffocating.
He had recently seen Black Crow's updated bounty poster, but it hadn't included this man. Clearly, this figure was a mber of Black Crow's inner circle.
"I just ca for so wine, don't worry." Whitebeard's Cloud-Cutting Sword struck the ground with a low thud as he looked at Qiongqi. Though a trace of shock passed through his eyes, it quickly faded as he continued calmly.
"Then please follow . The master awaits, and the wine has been prepared." Qiongqi gave a small nod and stepped aside.
"Alright."
With a hearty laugh, Whitebeard stepped ashore.
Behind him, the division commanders followed silently, falling in line behind Qiongqi as they made their way toward the center of the island.
Marco and the other captains kept their gazes fixed on Qiongqi.
anwhile, the aura radiating from Baifeng and Hei Yan also sent shivers down their spines.
This island... was not one to be underestimated.
