Chapter 895: Chapter 895: Dream

Ling Feng turned around, but he didn’t see anyone.

And then, the light laughter ca from behind him again.

After frowning, Ling Feng couldn’t help but say, "Who’s there, stop playing tricks!"

The laughter paused, and then a woman’s voice replied, "Who’s playing tricks?"

Ling Feng turned around again and saw a girl in white walking out of the bushes.

The girl’s face was sowhat blurred, and Ling Feng rubbed his eyes but still couldn’t make out her features, which he found strange, "Who are you?"

"Who I am, you will soon find out!" the girl said.

Ling Feng didn’t understand, "I’m clearly dreaming, what do you an by that? Could it be that you can enter my dream?"

"You’ve got it wrong, not that I entered your dream, but that your Divine Sense has entered my dream!" the girl said.

"Hmm?"

Ling Feng still didn’t understand how he could possibly emit Divine Sense when he was clearly asleep.

However, he didn’t have the ti to dwell on this question and looked at the girl, "You wouldn’t happen to be one of Buddha Master’s people, would you? Do you live next door to my room?"

"No no no, you’re mistaken again, I’m not from around here, my ho is up on the mountain to the north!" the girl said.

"Oh."

Ling Feng felt sowhat lost, thinking since he had entered soone else’s dream, he’d better wake up soon, as staying would be impolite.

The intention was good, but no matter how he tried, he just couldn’t leave this place, so he could only look at the girl helplessly, "Sorry, I want to leave, but I can’t!"

"No rush, I will send you away soon!"

The girl smiled and then said, "You’re indeed a very interesting person. By the way, where did you get your legacy?"

"Hmm?"

Ling Feng was taken aback, his eyes widening, "You can see my legacy?"

"Yeah, is it that hard? I can even feel the spiritual power emanating from your aura, clearly carrying the touch of Shennong!" the girl said.

"..."

Ling Feng was truly shocked, staring with wide eyes, "Who exactly are you?"

"Tomorrow, co to Eagle Beak Cliff on North Mountain, and you will know!"

The girl chuckled, waved her hand gently, and Ling Feng felt a darkness before his eyes, then he opened them!

By then, he noticed that it had already started to get light outside!

A few minutes’ dream, yet in reality, five or six hours had passed, this revelation surprised Ling Feng, and he even took out his phone to check, affirming that it was indeed five o’clock in the morning.

Ling Feng was speechless, sat up from the sofa, and zoned out for a while.

Seeing the sky grow brighter, he simply got up, and tiptoed out of the room.

Although the sun had not yet risen, visibility was already high, and Ling Feng turned to look north but unfortunately could see nothing due to the trees and buildings.

Turning his head, he noticed a very tall tree in the settlent, and Ling Feng’s eyes glead as he imdiately walked over to it.

He had ant to climb the tree to get a better view, as the height would surely allow him to see what mountains lay to the north.

But unexpectedly, just as he approached, he found Master Kong Kong sitting cross-legged on a grass mat, eyes firmly closed.

Seeing this, Ling Feng hesitated, not wanting to disturb him, and so he decided to turn and leave.

But at that mont, Master Kong Kong spoke up, "Ling benefactor, since you’ve co, why would you leave now?"

"It seems the Master was awake!"

Ling Feng smiled and stepped forward, "I was afraid of disturbing you, so I was thinking of leaving."

"I see."

Master Kong Kong opened his eyes, smiled, and stood up from the grass mat, saying with a smile, "Mr. Ling is up early!"

"I had a dream, woke up, and couldn’t fall back asleep. Were you here all night, Master?" Ling Feng asked.

"No, I’m accustod to rising early to do my morning practice," Master Kong Kong said.

Ling Feng made a sound of acknowledgnt but didn’t know what else to say, so he scratched his head.

However, at this mont, Master Kong Kong said, "Thank you, Mr. Ling, for handling the matters at my temple!"

"Oh? You knew?" Ling Feng was taken aback.

"Yes, even though I wasn’t there, I knew exactly what happened at the ti!" Master Kong Kong said with a smile.

Ling Feng didn’t understand and was very curious about how he could know, but he knew it would be impolite to ask, so he just smiled, "You’re too kind, Master. I just didn’t like the look of those people, so I taught them a lesson."

"Excellent. I left in advance because I knew those people would cause trouble, so it was a good opportunity for you to teach them a lesson!" Master Kong Kong said.

"So you had the sa idea as !"

Hearing this gave Ling Feng a feeling as if he had t a kindred spirit.

Master Kong Kong nodded, "Those people use preaching as a guise for theft and plundering. I’ve known about them for a long ti!"

"Spouting benevolence and righteousness but ultimately after self-interest. Such people indeed deserve a lesson!"

Ling Feng nodded, recalling Pete.

The guy was brought over last night and then left with a driver. Ling Feng still didn’t know where he lived or whether he had gone online to check on Kong Sheng’s news.

Thinking about this, Ling Feng wanted to go and inquire.

But Master Kong Kong was unaware, and he hadn’t finished speaking yet, so Ling Feng could only wait to talk about it later.

At that mont, Master Kong Kong looked deeply at Ling Feng, "Mr. Ling, you are the most profound practitioner I have ever t. Surely you are already aware of that legend?"

"I am aware. The Missionaries from The Holy See say it’s so ’Heavenly Fire descending to earth,’ but it doesn’t seem like that to !"

Ling Feng nodded, "As far as I know, the coming disaster could well be an invasion from otherworldly Superpower Users!"

Master Kong Kong was expected to be interested, but instead, he shook his head, "You’re wrong. The real source of the disaster is ourselves!"

"Oh?"

Ling Feng was startled and asked in amazent, "Why do you say that?"

"The so-called ’Heavenly Fire descending to earth’ actually refers to the awakening of the sleeping God Race. If you know the Huaxia legend of the war among the gods, you should understand," Master Kong Kong said.

"That, I do know so of. Do you an to say, Master, that the God Race is to descend anew?" asked Ling Feng.

"I have practiced the Buddhist path for many years and have learned a bit about seeing through the workings of heaven. Sadly, I can sense that a crisis is about to arise, but what will happen and how dire the consequences will be, remains veiled," Master Kong Kong said.

Ling Feng: "..."

After a mont of silence, he said with a wry smile, "That you can sense the crisis is already quite remarkable. People like

are only aware of the present, oblivious to future dangers."

"Mr. Ling is too modest!"

Master Kong Kong smiled, looking into Ling Feng’s eyes, "In the future, the salvation of the people may well depend on you!"

"Don’t say that, Master. I’m totally nervous, without the slightest clue of what lies ahead!" Ling Feng said with a wry smile.
