Ling Feng finished speaking, crouched down, and said to Li Fei’er, "The journey is a bit long, it’s better if I carry you on my back."
"Alright then."
Li Fei’er didn’t stand on ceremony and lay on his back.
After that, Ling Feng leaped up and started heading north at his highest speed!
Li Fei’er held the phone, watching the navigation, and directed him, as the two of them sprinted under the scorching sun for more than an hour before they arrived in a forest next to a beach.
"We still have two kiloters in a straight line!" Li Fei’er said.
"Good, this is the spot!"
Ling Feng nodded, found a relatively tall tree in the dense forest, and leaped up to its canopy.
In front was the military port, visible clearly, with about seven or eight different ships, large and small, docked inside. The large ones were battleships, while the smaller ones were transport ships.
Having observed this, Ling Feng returned to the ground and set up a Teleportation Array in the thick grass.
Li Fei’er, watching from the side, asked curiously, "Uncle, what exactly are you up to?"

"But, are you going to co here often in the future?" Li Fei’er asked in astonishnt.

"Ah, isn’t that a waste of Spirit Stones?" Li Fei’er asked, puzzled.
"Hehe, don’t worry. The benefits I can obtain will definitely be worth much more than these Spirit Stones!"
Ling Feng laughed and continued working with his head down.
Half an hour later, a small Teleportation Array capable of accommodating two people was completed. Then, Ling Feng began to pinpoint the next target.
But, according to the phone’s display, that Arican’s base was actually across the sea!
"Damn, Zhang He, this guy, is he doing this on purpose?" Ling Feng said, dumbfounded.
"It’s a strait, just a few kiloters wide, easy to get across!" Li Fei’er glanced at the screen and said to Ling Feng.
"Easy?"
Ling Feng looked at her, "It’s several kiloters, not several dozen ters!"
"I know. Don’t worry, as long as you want to get across, we can make it!" Li Fei’er said with a smile.
"Why? Do you have so kind of way?" Ling Feng asked.
"Hehe, you’ll find out when the ti cos!"
Li Fei’er mimicked him and played coy.
With no other choice, Ling Feng could only shake his head helplessly, "Alright then, let’s head to that strait first!"
So the two set off again.
It took more ti this ti, as there were several cities in a straight line, and they had to detour around them. Only after the sun had set beyond the horizon and darkness enveloped the land, did they finally arrive at the seashore.
Lights were visible from the opposite shore, very bright, illuminating that side as if it were daylight. Ling Feng could see groups of people moving on the opposite bank even from where he stood.
"That’s the Arican’s base over there. It seems there aren’t many warships. We will have to go over to the other side to see the specific situation!" Li Fei’er said.
Ling Feng just uttered a sound of acknowledgnt, then asked, "Now can you tell
how we’re going to get across? Don’t say swimming—I’m not Xiao Xue; I can’t swim that far!"
"Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to swim!"
Li Fei’er chuckled, then summoned Da Qiang.
"Uh, you want it to take us across?" Ling Feng’s eyes went wide.
"That’s right. Uncle, you probably don’t know, but Da Qiang, after eating the Water-Attribute Five Elents Fruit, can now move through water with ease!" Li Fei’er said with a laugh.
Ling Feng’s face lit up with surprise, "Who would have thought, after mastering the water property, to have such ability?"
"Yeah, pretty aweso, right?" Li Fei’er said proudly, cocking her head to the side.
Ling Feng looked at her, her eyes shining brightly in the dark, so he couldn’t help himself and hugged her, planting a quick kiss, "Good girl, giving
such a big surprise!"
Li Fei’er’s face, unseen in the night, blushed, but her shy deanor was clear to see, and Ling Feng imdiately chuckled mischievously.
"Da Qiang, get in the water and take us to the other side!"
Li Fei’er commanded Da Qiang.
Imdiately afterward, Ling Feng saw Da Qiang dive into the water, and then his body began to grow!
"Let’s go, Uncle!"
Li Fei’er said, and jumped over.
Seeing this, Ling Feng quickly followed, and it was only when he landed on Da Qiang’s back that he realized the creature had turned into sothing like a furry blanket, with his whole body flattened!
"No way, it can do that!"
Ling Feng watched, his mouth agape and his expression baffled.
"Hehe, Da Qiang told
about it, or else I wouldn’t have known it had such an ability, how about it, impressive, right?" asked Li Fei’er.
Ling Feng nodded, "Impressive? It’s nothing short of a miracle!"
By then, Da Qiang was already swimming in the water, headed towards the opposite shore, and Ling Feng quickly said, "Don’t head straight for there, let’s just set up a Teleportation Array at a distance!"
"Oh, alright!"
Without needing a command from Li Fei’er, Da Qiang understood Ling Feng’s intention and slightly adjusted the direction, swimming towards a dark area on the other side.
Twenty minutes later, the several-kiloter stretch of the strait was successfully crossed!
They had just reached the shore when the searchlights from the Arican base imdiately swept over!
Li Fei’er quickly retracted Da Qiang and then crouched down with Ling Feng!
"Could it be? They’ve discovered us?" she whispered in surprise.
Ling Feng shook his head, "It seems their technology is really good. They definitely can’t see us, but I reckon they must have installed radar on the shore. They detected a moving target on the water’s surface, so they shone the light over to check it out!"
"Does that an we’ve been exposed?" Li Fei’er asked.
Ling Feng replied, "Let’s wait and see!"
He had just finished speaking when several vehicle lights flashed from the base in the distance. Soon after, two vehicles burst out of the gate and headed straight for them!
"Damn it!"
Ling Feng cursed, pulling Li Fei’er as they quickly made their escape!
A few minutes after they left, the two vehicles arrived at their landing spot. A bunch of people imdiately started searching around with bright flashlights, chattering away.
"These guys, stationed overseas, are clearly scared of being attacked!" Li Fei’er whispered next to Ling Feng.
"What? You understood what they were saying?" Ling Feng asked.
"I’ve learned a bit of English; I can barely understand so of it. They thought soone was planning to attack the base, so they ca over to check!" Li Fei’er explained.
"Talk about being cautious; they’re scared stiff, huh?" Ling Feng said with a sneer.
Li Fei’er nodded, "Pretty much!"
Naturally, the group found nothing. They could only see so water traces by the shore, but it really proved nothing.
After a brief search, the group got back into their cars and returned to the base.
With this break in the action, Ling Feng imdiately began setting up the Teleportation Array.
Once that was ready, tonight’s operation could begin!
