Chapter 832: Chapter 832 Erald

After looking around, Ling Feng’s gaze finally settled on the largest piece of raw jade.

After circling it, Ling Feng asked, "Can this stone be a bit cheaper?"

Feng Ling translated for him, and the vendor nodded agreeably, saying he could give a 20% discount.

Ling Feng was surprised, just by asking casually, the price dropped by 600,000?

After his astonishnt, he imdiately smiled and said, "Okay, I’ll take it!"

The vendor was stunned by his quick decision and imdiately broke into a joyful smile.

As he took the credit card to process the paynt, Zhang He asked dumbfoundedly, "No way, is there really an erald as big as a soccer ball in there?"

"Why don’t you just wait and see?" Ling Feng said with a smile.

"Even if it isn’t that big, as long as it’s worth more than 100 million, haven’t you still lost?" Feng Ling chid in.

"Uh..."

Zhang He was taken aback, thinking that did make sense, but still felt a bit unconvinced: "I just don’t believe you’re really that lucky!"

"Give it ten minutes, and you’ll believe!"

Ling Feng chuckled and reached out to embrace the stone!

Thankfully, Feng Ling was quick to react and grabbed him in ti!

Realizing her look, Ling Feng caught on and imdiately felt embarrassed.

The raw stone weighed over two hundred pounds; carrying it over by himself would effectively tell everyone present that he was no ordinary person.

As Ling Feng grinned sheepishly, Feng Ling communicated with the vendor, who agreed readily. Soon after, they summoned several n to help carry the raw stone and place it on a cart.

Seeing this scene, the tourists imdiately sward over, bombarding them with questions.

The crowd was curious about how much it cost to purchase the stone, and upon hearing Feng Ling ntion the price of 2.4 million, they gasped in amazent.

Anyone astute could tell that the high price was entirely due to that hint of mist showing through the cracks.

But whether there was really erald inside was uncertain.

One could say that this piece of raw jade was a mix of risk and opportunity; if your luck was a bit better, you might break even. If it was worse, those couple million could just dissipate into thin air.

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, the raw stone was delivered next to a stone-cutting machine. It took four or five people to finally secure the heavy stone in place.

Then, the middle-aged man who had warned Ling Feng before appeared again, his eyes wide as he looked at the sizable stone and said, "Brother, I know you’re incredibly lucky, but are you really daring enough to buy sothing this big?"

Ling Feng smiled: "The bigger it is, the easier it is to find eralds inside, isn’t that the case?"

"How much did you spend on it?" the middle-aged man asked with an incredulous face.

"2.4 million, not expensive!" Ling Feng chuckled.

"..."

The middle-aged man studied Ling Feng carefully, thinking that he must be the son of a wealthy family from sowhere in Huaxia; to him, 2 million was nothing, clearly, money was not an issue!

With that in mind, he didn’t bother to say anything more. After all, it wasn’t his money being spent. What could he do if the other liked throwing his money away?

Besides, he had just seen Ling Feng earn more than 7 million. The man obviously had the capital, and even if he lost on this gamble, it wouldn’t be a loss.

In the crowd, so shared his thoughts, having just witnessed Ling Feng carve the stone, and acquiring an erald worth 8 million.

However, most of them felt the sa; the first ti was purely luck, and this ti he wouldn’t be so fortunate.

The young man was clearly a novice; even veterans who had been in the jade business for three or four decades wouldn’t dare to tackle such a big raw stone.

Therefore, more than half of the spectators were there for the spectacle, eager to see what expression Ling Feng would have after potentially losing more than 2 million.

The stone was securely fixed, and everyone thought Ling Feng would cut into the part where the white mist appeared, but to their surprise, he instructed Feng Ling to tell the Stone-cutting Master to start from one third into the stone!

Even the Stone-cutting Master was taken aback, thinking he had misheard, and only after double checking with Feng Ling did he start to prepare.

"What kind of trick is this kid pulling?" the middle-aged man wondered, his eyes widening in astonishnt.

The area with the white mist was within that one third; was he planning to discard that part entirely?

In the roar of the Stone-cutting Machine, a crevice was cut into the stone. Due to its large size, the water flow used for cooling was also significantly increased, and a mist of water imdiately rose at the scene.

But this did nothing to dampen the spectators’ enthusiasm; no one took a step back.

"Thunk!"

With one clean cut, that one third of the stone fell to the ground, and Ling Feng kicked it to the side.

The crowd: "..."

What had been speculation was now certain, he really had discarded the part with the white mist!

"Interesting!"

The middle-aged man nodded slightly at this developnt, realizing he might have underestimated Ling Feng!

Although there was no change visible on the cut surface, still the sa black as the exterior of the raw stone, he suddenly had a feeling that this stone might reveal a treasure!

Ling Feng looked at the cut surface and said to Feng Ling, "I miscalculated, have him go in another two centiters."

"Okay."

Feng Ling nodded and relayed the ssage to the Stone-cutting Master.

Although the stone-cutting service was free, once jadeite was found and sold, a 5% service fee from the sale price was included, so their attitude towards service was quite good. They would cut the stone however the custor requested, without a mont’s hesitation from the Stone-cutting Master.

Another cut was made, and as the water washed away the stone dust, those who saw the exposed surface drew a sharp breath!

"Erald! That’s an erald!"

The middle-aged man’s eyes bulged, and after scrutinizing for several monts, he exclaid aloud.

The onlookers too recognized it; that hint of green was overwhelmingly enchanting, leaving many with their mouths agape in silence!

An erald was already very rare, but what was more important was that the green hint was bigger than the mouth of a sea bowl!

This was only the tip of the iceberg; no one knew how big the jadeite inside the stone really was!

The way people looked at Ling Feng changed!

There were those who envied him, and many more who were jealous.

Before Ling Feng could speak, soone suddenly shouted from the crowd, "I bid 20 million!"

"..."

The crowd turned around to look at the bidder, their gaze akin to staring at a fool!

The bidder was bewildered, "Why are you looking at

like that?"

"Kid, when you see an erald, you’re sure to keep cutting. Who would sell at a ti like this? You’re dreaming," soone said dismissively.

"Exactly, even if there’s only a centiter of thickness left inside, this piece of jadeite is worth more than two million. The man’s already made his investnt back, why would he sell to you?" another person chid in.

The bidder felt incredibly foolish and quickly shut up, not daring to speak again.

Listening to the people’s conversations, Ling Feng felt a secret amazent, not expecting there to be so many knowledgeable Huaxia people among the tourists!

At this mont, the Stone-cutting Master, through Feng Ling, asked, "How shall we proceed next?"
