Chapter 56: Chapter 56 There’s Another Way
Back in the village, Li Shiyun found an excuse to return to the village committee office.
She felt that if she kept visiting Ling Feng’s house and often stayed for long periods, sooner or later the more observant villagers would notice, and who knows what they would say about her behind her back.

"Yes, what’s up?" Ling Feng replied.
There was silence on the other side for a mont, and then a new ssage ca through, "My period ca, thank you."
Ling Feng’s lips curled upwards, this silly girl, after taking the dicine her body had recovered, and her nstrual cycle had beco regular!
So, with a smile, he replied, "That’s good, don’t overthink things in the future. If there’s anything you don’t understand just ask , your brother will teach you!"
Huaihua didn’t reply from the other side, probably too embarrassed to continue.
He didn’t ask further, took so corn, and walked into the breeding area.
Upon closer inspection, he saw that the pheasants and hares seed to have grown even bigger, their size already surpassing his understanding of the typical size for livestock!
Ling Feng was sowhat speechless, "Looks like I’ve given you too many Spirit Pills, huh? I wanted you to grow faster, not to beco such big fellows. When are you going to lay eggs or have babies?"
The pheasant and hares naturally didn’t reply, their big eyes ignoring him, fixed instead on the corn in his hand, seemingly famished!
"Fine then, since it’s co to this, I’m curious to see just how big you can get!" Ling Feng resigned himself and poured the corn into the feeding trough.
After watching for a while, he noticed the absence of Wang Cai, who always drooled over the giant hares, so he called out.
Receiving no response, Ling Feng grew curious and walked toward its den, then found it lying there.
As their eyes t, Wang Cai’s round eyes were filled with a wariness, not moving as it kept watching Ling Feng.
"You, what’s the situation? Co out!"
Wang Cai let out two low barks but still didn’t move!
"Damn it, are you seriously sitting on eggs?" Ling Feng rolled his eyes and said.
"..." Wang Cai was speechless.
"Fine, you keep sitting on those eggs, but you’re skipping dinner tonight." Ling Feng couldn’t be bothered with it and turned back to go to the front yard.
True to his word, Wang Cai never showed up even after Ling Feng had cooked and finished his dinner.
"Starve if you won’t eat. I must find out what you’ve been up to!" Ling Feng thought to himself.
He went out to the fields and saw the workers steaming the fodder had already pitched their tents, eating and chatting while keeping an eye on the boiler. He didn’t disturb them and instead turned back ho.
As the sky gradually darkened, soone knocked on Ling Feng’s door. He promptly got up to open it.
Expecting it to be Li Shiyun, he was surprised to find Huaihua at the door!
"Eh, why have you co so late?"
Seeing the girl at the doorstep with her head down, face flushed with shyness, Ling Feng’s heart skipped a beat, and he asked in confusion.
"Brother, I still want you to have a look," said Huaihua in a low voice.
"Oh, co in and we can talk about it!"
Ling Feng was puzzled, but imdiately invited her in.
Once Huaihua entered, he quickly shut the door and bolted it shut.
Huaihua appeared restrained, standing there with her head down, not daring to et Ling Feng’s gaze. Seeing this, he asked with a smile, "Tell , what’s wrong?"
"I feel uncomfortable in my body," Huaihua said.
"Where?" Ling Feng asked.
"This...it’s a bit embarrassing to say." Huaihua’s voice was soft, and her ears turned a bit red, obviously embarrassed.
Seeing this, Ling Feng seed to understand and said, "Sit down first, don’t be nervous, I’m your brother, just speak frankly."
Huaihua gave a low hum and then sat down.
After a mont, she seed to muster up her courage and looked up to say, "Brother, why does my chest feel swollen, and my stomach hurts a bit?"
"Abdominal pain?" Ling Feng asked, sitting down in front of her.
"Yes."
"That’s normal, you’re on your period, it’s a normal physiological reaction. The dicinal pills I gave you before might not have been strong enough, just take another and you’ll be fine."
Having said that, Ling Feng got up to find those dicinal pills, only to realize that they had used the last ones up and hadn’t made any new ones yet!
After hesitating for a bit, he had no choice but to turn around and say, "We’re out of dicine."
Huaihua looked up, her face flashing with disappointnt, "Then, what should we do?"
"It’s okay, I have other thods. Co to the back room!" Ling Feng said with a smile.
He suddenly felt a surge of excitent inside, as if this was a godsent opportunity!
Calling Huaihua shy, he hadn’t wanted to do anything to her, but now that things had turned out this way, he couldn’t bla himself!
After getting to the back room, Ling Feng pointed to the sickbed, "Lie down there, and I’ll give you a massage."

Upon hearing this, Huaihua was imdiately stunned. As a young girl, to lie on the bed and be massaged by a man, how could that be acceptable?
