After speaking, Lin Xue hung up the phone before Ling Feng could respond.

"This girl! She didn’t even ask if I’m free!"

Ling Feng was speechless, but luckily it saved him the trouble of running around since the hotel he had agreed to et Miao Ruoruo at was the sa place.

When it was about ti to leave, Miao Lanlan ran out of her room, "Sister, I’ll ride with you. There’s a banquet at Junhao Hotel tonight, and I need to attend!"

As they reached the second floor, Miao Lanlan stopped, "Sister, you guys go on up. I’m staying on this floor."

Miao Ruoruo gave an acknowledgnt and didn’t ask further questions as she went up to the third floor, while Miao Lanlan gave him a look, "You have friends here too?"

"Yes, we ca together today, and you know them as well!"

Ling Feng smiled and strode toward the room Lin Xue had ntioned.

Driven by curiosity, Miao Lanlan followed him, but when Ling Feng stopped in his tracks, she exclaid in astonishnt, "No way, you’re coming to this room?"

Ling Feng turned around: "What’s wrong?"

"I—I’m supposed to be here too!" Miao Lanlan looked bewildered.

There were already people in the room, about five or six of them, and as the door opened, all eyes turned their way.

Two people exclaid in surprise at once, one was Li Jianshe, and the other was Zhang Lan!

Lin Xue nodded and the corners of her mouth tilted up slightly.

Ling Feng did not understand her aning but couldn’t help glaring at her, thinking he’d settle the score with her later!

The mood at the dinner table was reasonably harmonious. Lin Xue briefly ntioned her findings after visiting the construction site today and expressed great satisfaction with everyone’s work, and everyone appeared visibly relieved.

Ling Feng could tell that both Zhang Lan and Li Jianshe cared greatly about this project; otherwise, they wouldn’t treat Lin Xue with such high regard.
