Chapter 2096: Chapter 2095: So That’s How It Is

Upon hearing Ling Feng’s words, the Predator shook his head, "We don’t think the Aricans are bad. On the contrary, they have brought us many advanced devices, but your arrival forced our plan to a halt!"

"Oh, they surely have to treat you well, after all, it was you who revealed this place to them!"

Ling Feng chuckled and continued, "But their true intentions, I fear you haven’t realized yet!"

"As long as they help us eliminate the Giant Dragons, we don’t care about anything else!" the Predator said.

Hearing this, Ling Feng thought these people were certainly stubborn!

He shrugged his shoulders, "Then you’ll be disappointed. Now that I’m here, you can’t eliminate the Dragon Clan. Additionally, if you don’t want your own species to be wiped out, you better behave and stop instigating any conflicts!"

He expected the other party to succumb under pressure and agree, but to his surprise, the Predator leader imdiately shook his head, "That’s impossible!"

"What? Are you really stubborn to the point of extinction?" Ling Feng shouted angrily.

The Predator leader looked at him, "Either way, we die, why not die fighting rather than starve?"

His words left Ling Feng stunned, staring at him incredulously, "What do you an, if you don’t fight the Dragon Clan, you’ll starve?"

"The resources we Predators need have all been driven away by the Dragon Clan. There are no animals in the entire jungle. What are we carnivores supposed to eat?" said the Predator leader.

"Uh..."

Ling Feng found himself lost for words!

The crux of the problem lies here!

Seeing his silence, the Predator leader continued, "Without food, our species cannot continue, and the only option is to hunt and kill Giant Dragons for sustenance. Asking us to stop fighting is asking us to starve!"

"Is that how it is?"

Ling Feng chuckled and rolled his eyes, "Why didn’t you say so earlier?"

Predator: "..."

"Alright, alright, not knowing the reason was a problem in our communication. Now that we understand, this can be easily resolved without all the fighting!"

Ling Feng waved his hand nonchalantly and continued, "Of course, provided you’re not bloodthirsty."

"We’re not a naturally bloodthirsty race, we just want to survive," said the Predator leader.

"That’s great, it’s a pity there wasn’t communication sooner, otherwise not so many would have died!"

Ling Feng said.

The Predator leader looked at him, "What? Are you willing to help us think of a solution?"

"Of course, I am not a bloodthirsty person and don’t want to see your species wiped out."

Ling Feng said, and then continued, "It’s only a pity for those who died previously."

"It’s okay, they can be revived."

The Predator leader said.

"Hmm?"

Ling Feng was stupefied, thinking he misheard, quickly asking, "What do you an?"

"Our species has a special thod to resurrect dead warriors," said the Predator leader.

"Is that possible?"

Ling Feng was shocked and imdiately asked, "Have you ever ntioned this to the Aricans?"

"No, why?" the Predator leader asked.

"Don’t ntion it, otherwise it could bring disaster upon your species!"

Ling Feng said, then imdiately asked, "Now, tell us about your dietary habits. Do you only eat at, or do you also consu grains, vegetables, or fruits?"

He asked this with a little plan in mind, hoping to obtain the resurrection technology from the other party.

Ling Feng didn’t want to steal or rob, just to exchange for this technology.

"Our species is omnivorous, not just at-eating; we can eat anything nutritious but do not farm. We can only collect food through hunting and gathering," said the Predator leader.

"No wonder you’re called Predators!"

Ling Feng laughed and continued, "Alright, from now on, I’ll be responsible for your food."

"...."

The Predators were all stunned.

They were the most adherent to jungle law, always maintaining high vigilance towards alien races, rarely trusting them easily.

If not for sheer desperation, they wouldn’t have sought help from Earth’s mighty Arica.

Now Ling Feng proposed to help them, leaving the Predator camp a bit bewildered and hesitant to believe him.

Noticing their hesitation, Ling Feng chuckled, "No need to rush, I don’t need an imdiate answer. Here’s the deal: we’ll leave first, when you’ve made a decision, you can find

near the Dragon Nest. Don’t worry, as long as I’m with you, Giant Dragons won’t attack!"

After saying this, he turned to Yao, "Let’s go!"

"Alright!"

Yao nodded and left with him.

The two jumped onto the back of the Ghost Dragon and quickly ascended high into the sky, continuing their return journey.

While on the way, Yao glanced at Ling Feng, "Are you really planning to help this species?"

"Yes, it’s the best way to solve the problem, without any major conflict or mass death, isn’t it great?" Ling Feng asked her.

"It’s indeed great!"

Yao nodded, "I certainly didn’t choose the wrong person."

Listening to her, Ling Feng scratched his head, "You’re going to make

conceited with such words!"

"You are a good man. In this universe, it’s always the law of the jungle, people as rciful as you are hard to find!" Yao said lightly.

Ling Feng felt even more elated, floating with happiness, "It’s my nature, I simply cannot change it; I don’t want to bully others nor be bullied, it’s that simple."

"The simpler the truth, the harder it is to achieve!"

Yao said, followed by a sigh.

Knowing she was thinking about her planet again, Ling Feng quickly said, "Once I’m done here, I’ll definitely visit your holand and help you drive away the invaders!"

"Thank you, I believe it won’t be long before I return ho!" Yao nodded.

While the two talked, the Ghost Dragon had flown a considerable distance, nearly reaching the location from where they originally departed.

By Earth’s ti standards, it had been flying for nearly thirty hours.

With the Ghost Dragon’s flight speed comparable to comrcial airplanes, it could have circled around the Earth in that ti.

aning this world is indeed a spherical planet, roughly the size of Earth, yet currently only inhabited by the Dragon Clan, the Predators, and Shui Ling’s tribe.

Adding up all the groups, their combined population wouldn’t exceed 200,000!

This vast planet, with only a tiny fraction of life, is essentially a super treasury!
