Chen Guangsheng’s eyes lit up imdiately, "Sure, no problem!"
"Dad, Mom, haven’t you had enough?"
Originally, Chen Hong had been expressionless, but now she couldn’t hold back any longer. She looked at her parents helplessly and said, "I can make my own decisions. Can you stop worrying unnecessarily?"

Chen Hong’s mother was also displeased, glaring at her daughter, "Don’t say such nonsense again!"
Li Feier and Yang Guang were dumbfounded, staring blankly at them. Now they had totally beco bystanders, looking back and forth between Ling Feng and Chen Hong’s family, unsure of what would happen next.
The two young girls were watching the show, while Ling Feng was overwheld with embarrassnt.

Everyone present froze.
Suddenly, even Chen Hong’s parents were a bit confused by his change of tone.
Li Feier and Yang Guang were even more taken aback, thinking to themselves, has this uncle lost his mind? What kind of woman does he want?

Ling Feng quickly got up, eager to stay away from the enthusiastic couple.
Chen Guangsheng and his wife didn’t want him to leave, but Ling Feng ntioned his role as the Director of the Security Bureau and explained he had crucial national security matters to handle, leaving them nothing to say.
After leaving the house, the couple promptly asked their son to give Ling Feng a ride back to the town.

With the two young girls in the car, as soon as it started, Ling Feng let out a big sigh of relief.
Chen Hong’s brother, a civil servant in Yinzhou City, glanced at Ling Feng and said, "Sorry, Director Ling, my parents are like this, being straightforward rural people."
"No worries, the old folks are refreshingly candid!" Ling Feng smiled wryly.
Chen Hong’s brother nodded and continued, "I know, it’s sowhat hard on you to accept my sister, so I apologize. This matter will fade with ti, so please don’t mind it."
Ling Feng nodded, "Yes, I understand. Let’s ease the old folks’ worries first."
No further conversation was exchanged until they returned to the town. Ling Feng and Li Feier got out of the car, and it headed back to the village.
Watching the car leave, Li Feier turned to Ling Feng, "Uncle, congratulations!"
"Enough!"
Ling Feng rolled his eyes at her and turned to go upstairs.
His head had been aching earlier; now, he could finally take a break and relax.
After returning to the room upstairs, Li Feier asked, "Uncle, are we still going to see the three-tailed fox?"
"Yes, but not now. Let’s wait until Chen Hong’s parents are gone," Ling Feng said.
"Okay, we’ll wait then!"
Li Feier nodded and turned to look at her surroundings.
It was nearing noon, and rembering that they had to cook, Ling Feng took a brief rest before getting up to prepare.
Later, Lin Chen and her siblings returned and t Li Feier and Yang Guang upstairs.
After so introductions, they learned that these were Ling Feng’s close friends. Since they were cute and lovely, they quickly hit it off.
At lunchti, Lin Chen reported that six people ca to the Taoist temple in the morning, and shortly after entering, they left with two additional people and went straight to Yinzhou City.
Upon hearing this, Ling Feng widened his eyes in surprise, "Why didn’t you report sothing this important?"
"Boss, don’t worry. Sun Rui followed them in a car, and the Security Bureau is well-prepared. If these people cause trouble, we’ll definitely arrest them. We have the capability!" Lin Chen laughed.
"But what if the Leader of the Tongtian Sect cos?" Ling Feng retorted.
Lin Chen froze, then chuckled, "Impossible, that Leader is so mysterious, he won’t show himself. I think he’s just a cowardly figure pulling strings from behind!"
Ling Feng thought that made sense and said after a pause, "If so, our task will be complicated. It might take a while to catch him!"
"No worries, as long as he dares show his face, we’ll catch him eventually!" Lin Chen laughed.
Ling Feng smiled without responding, but he thought to himself, this Leader of the Tongtian Sect is quite a match for that surnad Hu guy. Is this going to turn into another unsolvable mystery like the one in Shennongjia?
He kept these thoughts to himself and didn’t speak them out. After lunch, as the siblings went back to their surveillance, Ling Feng checked the ti and said to Li Feier and the others, "Let’s go back to Chen’s Village!"
"Uncle, do you think they can leave that early? They probably just finished lunch," Li Feier asked.
"Probably, but I think Chen Hong might urge them to leave, so they’re probably setting off by now!"
Ling Feng chuckled and said, "Let’s take the mountain path, not the road, and we’ll see if they’re still at ho!"
"Alright!"
Li Feier nodded, eager to et the three-tailed fox early.
So the three left, and after leaving the small town, they entered the woods by the road and made their way straight to Chen’s Village!
