Chapter 157: The Fleeing Count

At the mont they attacked Luo Sheng, a giant ice shield blocked the Holy Knight’s assault.

Bang!!!

The sound of the longsword clashing with the ice shield echoed throughout the castle hall. The 2 Holy Knights were repelled, stumbling back several steps.

When they saw clearly, they found a woman had appeared beside Luo Sheng, holding a magic staff in one hand and an ice shield in the other. Her appearance was that of both a mage and a warrior.

This struck both Holy Knights as strange.

“You can actually summon demons! You truly are an evil summoner. In the na of the royal family, I sentence you to death!” the Holy Knight suddenly declared solemnly.

For they saw two black goat horns on Levni’s head, as well as a black heart-shaped tail, all indicating she was not human, but a succubus.

A disdainful smile appeared at the corner of Luo Sheng’s mouth: “Try defeating her first before talking big. Don’t keep calling her a demon.”

He didn’t even bother to look directly at these knights.

Although these Holy Knights had already reached the silver rank, they were still novices. Compared to Levni’s silver 4-star ability, they were just like children.

Even attacking together, they were no match for Levni.

“Damn it!” The 2 Holy Knights felt humiliated at being looked down upon. Enraged, they swung their longswords at Levni.

Levni fought them with ease.

First, a large number of ice cone spells blocked their advance. Then ca illusions, plunging them into a brief chaos.

By the ti the 2 cleared their heads, Levni had already appeared before them, her tal staff striking hard.

Clang!!!

The tallic clash resounded throughout the hall, the sound like a bronze bell, making people’s ears buzz.

Obvious dents appeared in the knights’ armor, showing how powerful the blow was.

The Holy Knight who was hit coughed up a mouthful of blood, his eyes rolling back. He was on the verge of fainting, only his sturdy body barely allowing him to withstand Levni’s attack.

But he was still sent flying, lying on the ground gasping for breath, almost suffocating.

The other Holy Knight escaped by a hair’s breadth, but he was now terrified, only able to grip his sword tightly out of sheer willpower.

The contempt on Levni’s face grew even more pronounced, with a hint of disdain.

Luo Sheng didn’t bother watching the battle. He simply held Acoley’s hand and ca before the old butler, asking: “Where’s the banquet you prepared? We’re starving after such a long journey.”

“This, this…” The old butler had clearly never encountered such a situation before, actually being treated as the host by an outsider. He was dumbfounded for a mont.

It wasn’t until Luo Sheng snapped his fingers in front of him that he reacted, trembling as he said: “Th-this way please, guest.”

Under his guidance, Luo Sheng ca to a luxurious dining room, which was obviously prepared by the Count for Acoley.

But now it benefited Luo Sheng instead.

An extra-long dining table with a red silk tablecloth, on which were placed several carved candles. Under the reflection of the golden candlesticks, they emitted a golden glow.

Under the golden candlesticks, crystal glasses sparkled. Various appetizing vegetables and fruits, as well as freshly cooked red at, emitted enticing aromas. Especially the colors dyed by the black pepper tomatoes made one’s appetite soar.

Luo Sheng brought Acoley to the dining table and put on a napkin for himself. “We’ve been in the carriage for so long, let’s fill our stomachs first.”

“Okay.” Acoley smiled. Today she truly witnessed Luo Sheng’s strength, which made her feel even more secure.

The two just sat down at the dining table like this.

The old butler was at a loss, watching dish after dish of delicacies disappear from the table.

Just then, Luo Sheng suddenly picked up a plate of beef and casually threw it to the ground. Bang!!! The plate shattered and the beef was smashed on the floor.

Luo Sheng’s gaze carried a fierceness, his voice brooking no argunt: “I hope you won’t serve drugged food again, otherwise it’ll be my turn to drug you.”

The old butler was frightened, his legs trembling as he kept nodding, “Sorry, guest, it was our oversight.”

Then he turned his head to look at the chef beside him and hurriedly said: “Quickly bring up a new plate, don’t keep people waiting.”

The chef lowered his head and hurried to the kitchen to continue cooking.

Luo Sheng and Acoley ate and drank without restraint, actually treating this castle as their own ho.

If it were before, he might not have been so brazen.

But now it was different. Since upgrading to silver 2-star, his strength had greatly increased. Moreover, he had a large number of silver-rank cards in his hand.

Dealing with a small Count was very easy.

The battle in the castle hall was still continuing.

The so-called Holy Knights were almost completely humiliated by Levni. Even their proud swordsmanship and fierce physiques were still unable to surpass Levni.

Especially Levni’s combination of magic and close combat made it difficult for them to shake her.

Outside the castle gate, even though the Wild Boar General was covered in wounds, the Count’s troops still couldn’t enter. The ground was even piled with the corpses of guards.

The knights were unable to break through its defense. Even charging on horseback, their heads were chopped off by the Wild Boar General.

For a ti, both sides were at a standoff.

The middle-aged mage who had just attacked Luo Sheng was now fleeing all over the place. Behind him was the skull-headed Death, with a long scythe like an instrunt of judgnt from hell.

The middle-aged mage kept casting spells.

Unfortunately, hitting Death did little damage. Instead, it was able to wound the mage badly, even using death magic.

Finally, as the mage was fleeing, he tripped over the red carpet due to exhaustion. When he looked back, the skeleton Death was already behind him. The scythe slashed fiercely, and the middle-aged mage was taken away just like that.

“Damn it! How did this happen? Where the hell did this demon co from?” Count Moss Haddis witnessed all this, gnashing his teeth in anger and helplessness filling his heart.

He had originally thought about how to teach Acoley a good lesson, even to train her to submit to him obediently.

But now it had turned into this situation. His castle was occupied by others, his banquet had beco soone else’s celebration, and even his guards were badly beaten with heavy casualties.

“Damn bitch, actually colluding with demons. Just you wait!” Moss Haddis said through gritted teeth.

The “bitch” in his mouth was Acoley, and the so-called demon was Luo Sheng and his card summons.

Moss Haddis wished he had two more legs to imdiately run to the palace and tell His Majesty the King about everything that happened in his castle, to send a large army to eliminate Luo Sheng.

Just as he turned to flee.

“Count, where do you want to go?”

A soft and charming voice sounded behind him.

When he turned his head, he found that in the dark corner of the room, an oriental-faced woman had appeared, wearing bright red clothes and holding a pair of golden scissors.

Her appearance was delicate and beautiful, naturally carrying a kind of charm that made people want to play with her.

However, Moss Haddis was now sweating profusely, seemingly shocked by Bai Moxue’s way of appearing, so that desire was temporarily suppressed.

“Who are you?” Moss Haddis asked warily.

Bai Moxue sat amusingly on a red chair, her face wearing a mocking smile, “Soone who wants your life.”

Bai Moxue had been summoned long ago.

However, when the battle broke out in the castle hall, she had been wandering around inside the castle.

She inadvertently discovered many secrets of the castle, naly that there were many won who had been played to death in this castle.

Many civilian won were caught and brought to the castle, subjected to inhuman torture by Count Moss Haddis to satisfy his perverted desires, even using various torture instrunts.

Being paralyzed was considered a relatively light form of torture.

Most of the won lost their lives, their bodies rotting, thrown by guards into nearby rivers to float away.

Bai Moxue hated people who wantonly trampled on others’ lives the most.

It especially reminded her that if Luo Sheng hadn’t co to save her, she might have been one of the Ghost King’s concubines, enduring the cruel torture from the Ghost King.

“Monster!”

Moss Haddis shouted, hurriedly retreating backwards, imdiately fleeing towards the other side.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t run more than 10 ters when Bai Moxue walked out from under the shadow of another curtain, smiling and squinting her eyes, carrying a strong hostility.

“You can’t escape today!”

“Ghost!!!”
