Anton woke up after sleeping for eight hours. Under the effect of the Pearl of the Ocean, he felt like he had slept for 48 hours. One thing he could say was that the first gift that the blue whales and the pink dolphins had given him was truly invaluable.

He took a luxurious hot bath using the bathtub he had purchased, conjuring water with his ice spells. He then used his fire spells to heat the mana water. After bathing, he ate a sumptuous breakfast. Then he stored everything in his inventory and cleaned up the rest. He then started counting all the loot that he had received from the 30th floor of the Corridors of Amuneta dungeon.

The number of mana stones alone astounded Anton. He had received a total of 42 dium-level mana stones and 16 high-level mana stones. He also managed to acquire a large number of enchanted items. The most important part was that, based on the book that the Adventurer Guild had given him, he could submit roughly 20 diamond-level quests.

Anton then checked the experience points that he had received from completing the 30th floor of the dungeon for his ladder Amazon character. He wasn’t expecting much since conquering dungeon floors in the real world wouldn’t be up to par in focusing on earning experience points inside the world of Sanctuary, but he was amazed that his character leveled up to level seven.

After Anton was done reviewing the loot that he had received, he opened the dungeon’s exit using the dungeon key. He briefly rembered what Tobias had told him about the key. If, for so reason, he lost it, he could exit the dungeon by going back to the beginning of the floor where he first appeared.

The guild staff that was assigned at the dungeon’s door was surprised when they saw Anton exiting the dungeon alone.

“Where are your companions?” The employee of the adventurer guild asked when the portal closed without anyone coming after Anton.

He was a little annoyed at the accusatory tone that the guild staff had.

“I entered alone. Here’s the key and here’s my card. My record should be in your system,” Anton told the man grimly.

When the guild staff saw the key that indicated a complete conquering of the 30th floor, his attitude changed a little, but when he saw in the magic globe that the guild used as monitors and input device to access their database, his attitude beca extrely respectful with a touch of apprehension.

Anton knew that the man now feared that Anton might retaliate against the employee for being disrespectful. It was obvious that only the very powerful could conquer a floor in a high-level dungeon alone.

“That’s why you shouldn’t assu because if you do, you’ll just make an ass out you and ,” Anton told the man sternly.

The guild staff apologized and then gave the guild card back to Anton. He then went to the guild branch and requested from one of the receptionists that he needed assistance in selling the loot that he received from the dungeon and submitting the quest items.

Anton was a little surprised when the receptionist herself said that she could handle it herself, and then they both walked towards one of the private booths. When they finally sat on the chair, the receptionist told him that her na was Mary.

First, Anton gave all the dium-level mana stones to the lady, saying that he needed them to be sold. Then he gave all the quest items that he had received from the dungeon floor, as well as his diamond adventurer guild card and his bank card.

Mary then left after telling him that she might be gone for more than an hour. Anton simply nodded. Once she was gone, he set up an enchanted Frozen Orb air conditioner and started browsing the internet using his Diablo II system. To avoid misunderstanding, Anton simply closed his eyes because if he perused his system while his eyes were open, he knew that he looked like there was sothing wrong with his head.

After so ti, Anton heard a knock and the door to the private booth opened. Mary returned with his things.

“Here’s your guild coin card. It now has 210,000 gold coins inside. The diamond level quests that you’ve submitted were 18. You are now also allowed to dive up until the 40th floor of the dungeon.”

“That’s great! Can I get a key to the 40th floor now? I will be diving tomorrow. I need to return ho first to check if I received letters from my family.”

Mary gave him a dungeon key to the 40th floor after telling him that she expected that he would ask for the key. After that, Anton said goodbye to Mary.

Anton left the mini town that hosted the entrance to the Corridors of Amuneta, and when he was far enough away from the entrance, he started flying towards the main city. After a couple of hours, he reached the gate and hired a carriage to take him ho.

When his guards saw him, they were surprised since Anton did told everyone that he would be gone for a week.

“Why are you back so early, Lord Anton?” Torbin asked.

“Don’t call

lord. I’m not a noble here. Just call

Anton. I completed the 30th floor of the Amuneta dungeon, and tomorrow, I’ll dive into the 40th. I just want to check if any letters arrived for .”

Everyone inside the house t Anton, then Ronia answered his questions that no letters had arrived. He then asked Ronia and Torbin to follow him to the treasure room. When they arrived at the entrance, he saw that the door was guarded by a couple of guards.

“We blocked the window to this room, so the only entrance is this door,” Torbin said.

Basically, what they implied was, his choice of treasure room was a little peculiar. It was simply just one of the bedrooms in the house. Anton did told everyone that this house was a temporary one and once his father arrived, they would move to a mansion.

“I gathered a lot of powerful enchanted items from the 30th floor. Please have soone identify them, and Ronia, Torbin, take so for selling if you need funds for everyone’s pay and house expenses.”

Ronia and Torbin gaped at the huge number of powerful items that stumbled onto the room’s floor from Anton’s inventory.

“If it spreads that this room contained a king’s treasure, we’ll be in trouble,” Torbin said.

“Then don’t spread it,” Anton shrugged.

Ronia rolled her eyes at Anton, and Torbin sighed.

“Don’t worry too much. Once my father arrived from New Drennor, we would move, and then my father or soone he trusted would manage the estate. I apologize for being too much of a hands-off guy,” Anton said to the two.

“What’s your budget for a mansion? The reason I asked was so I can start choosing for you,” Ronia said.

“Around 200,000 gold coins,” Anton said absently.

The amount that he said made Ronia and Torbin gasp.

“That’s not a mansion! That’s a price for a castle, including the full staff’s pay for 20 years!” Torbin asked, and Anton simply rolled his eyes at the dwarf’s exaggeration.

“Is it too much? That’s the total gold coins I’ve accumulated ever since I started dungeon diving a few weeks ago.”

“You’ve accumulated that much for just a few weeks?!” Ronia exclaid.

“Yes. I’ll be accumulating more until my father arrives,” Anton told the two.
