It would only take a few minutes before Anton reached the Ormunda city center, but he didn’t plan to stay long there. He wanted to go directly to the place where one of the high-level dungeons was located and stay in one of the hotels near there.

While walking, he thought of the fact that he felt a little lonely. It was the first ti that he had been without his family. He missed his father and sister. He missed his friends. Ever since he transmigrated to this world, he had never been apart from them for too long, now he felt like a lone adventurer.

He still had no idea what would happen in the future, but he knew that he couldn’t trust the idea that the kingdom was powerful enough that it wouldn’t be attacked successfully by the Undead Coalition, much less other organizations. He thought that Zalnothel was the sa.

Anton still had not let go of the idea that soday, the “good side” would have to stay in so sort of a last bastion defending itself from enemies.

When he reached the city, Anton decided that the fastest way for him to get to one of the high-level dungeons was to hire a carriage so he flagged one.

“Where can I take you?” the driver asked through the driver window the mont Anton entered the carriage.

“Can you take

to one of the high-level dungeons suited to gold-level adventurers and above?”

The carriage driver quoted a particularly steep price, but when Anton heard that the nearest high-level dungeon was a couple of hours away from where they were, he imdiately agreed. Besides, Anton earned a lot of gold coins from delving into a low-level dungeon. That ant that delving a high-level one would probably earn him a lot more coins.

Anton spent the next couple of hours just watching the streets that they passed through and watching the citizens of Ormunda going through their daily lives. He then suddenly thought that it would probably be best if he got himself a permanent place to stay so that his father and sister’s ravens wouldn’t need to search the entire kingdom just to find him.

He decided that he would get himself an apartnt in a week then he would send a ssage to Anna’s school to inform him where he lived.

The carriage driver told him that they had reached the gates that would lead him to one of the high-level dungeons, then the man offered to bring him to the nearest hotel beside the dungeon portal for an extra fee. It’s a service that the first carriage driver didn’t offer him when he went to the low-level dungeon.

The carriage driver inford Anton that they had reached the hotel. When he looked at the hotel through the carriage window, Anton was extrely surprised at how lavish the place looked. He then rembered that high-level dungeons could only be entered by powerful people, and that ant that those people were loaded.

Anton paid the man and headed directly to the hotel. The place looked really fancy, comparable to the five star hotels from Earth. There were sweeping staircases, glittering chandeliers, expensive looking art pieces, and there were even ceiling and floor murals.

He went to a large front desk that was manned by several exceptionally beautiful won.

“Good afternoon. I’m a gold level adventurer, and I want to rent a room with a bathroom,” Anton said.

At first, he thought of renting a lavish suite, but then he wanted to check how much he would earn in one of his dungeon dives first. He could always upgrade at a later ti.

“Certainly, sir. We have several rooms available,” said the front desk lady.

Then she showed actual pictures of rooms from the portfolio that she retrieved from sowhere, and the portfolio even included the prices, which were astonishingly high. Anton chose a modest-sized room with a bathroom and a view of the main street going into the dungeon portal. It was 5 gold coins a night with a minimum of a three-night stay. Anton paid for a five-night stay. Once he paid for the room and showed the lady his gold adventurer guild card, the lady gave him a what looked like a hotel key card, then she rang a small bell. A porter appeared to bring him to his room.

The porter led him to an actual elevator, and for a mont, Anton thought that he had traveled back to Earth. He was amused to note that the porters in the hotel probably had lighter jobs since probably all of the guests had spatial storage items, so the porters didn’t have to carry huge and heavy bags. According to the man who was leading him, the elevator was powered by a magical array.

Anton’s room was located on the fifth floor, and the porter or bellhop or whatever they call the attendants in this hotel led him to one of the rooms. The man then showed him how to use his key card which was exactly the sa as how one would use a key card in the hotels back on Earth.

Anton tipped the porter once they had entered the room, and the man left. He then examined his room. The room was big, even though it wasn’t one of the highest-priced rooms. The decorations were not over the top, and everything was squeaky clean, which Anton guessed that magic was used. The bathroom had a bathtub, and there were actual faucets located in the bathtub and the sink, and when Anton turned them on, water ca out.

He now knew why the room had a high price tag. There was a balcony terrace that overlooked the street that led to the dungeon portal. Anton thought of using the balcony to just fly down from his room but then he saw a sign that said that flying down was not allowed.

Anton just sighed and went back into the room. He retrieved a Frozen Orb air conditioner from his inventory and placed it on one of the tables in the room. Although the room wasn’t hot, he preferred a much colder temperature.

He turned on the Frozen Orb air conditioner and then took a bath. At first, he planned to head directly to the dungeon, but the mont he lay down on the bed to test it out, it felt so comfortable that Anton decided to take a nap first.

When he woke up, Anton saw that it was already nine in the evening, but he didn’t regret his nap. His bed was too comfortable that he started feeling lazy. He saw a nu on the table next to the desk sculpture. When he checked the nu, it inford him that the sculpture was an actual communication device that he could use to order the things in the nu.

Anton was flabbergasted at the things that he could purchase. Not only food, but everything that a rich person could think of, including prostitutes of every gender and species. He decided to test the hotel’s service by ordering food even though it was late. He also ordered a couple of sets of high-priced mage robes. The robes were not enchanted. They just looked good. He wanted to look like a rich wizard when he delved into the dungeon the next day.

After five minutes, his orders arrived. The food all tasted exquisite, but Anton would probably not follow his original plan of ordering a lot and keeping them in his storage items because they were all prohibitively expensive.
