Jiang Siming, feeling a bit impatient, wanted to see what his property looked like. He drove the car to the hotel entrance, and several polite, handso valets imdiately ca over to open the door.
The valet attendant soon arrived, and Jiang Siming handed him the car keys. Taking Jiang Lan's hand, he led her inside.
The hotel lobby on the first floor was extrely spacious and grand.
The walls were mainly brown, not as flashy as gold but also not as cold as white. Brown gave off a subtle, luxurious elegance.
The floor was made of 800x800 black-gold granite tiles, giving off a sense of grandeur.
The chandeliers were not directly in the center of the ceiling but instead mounted in the corners between the ceiling and the walls, casting light down at a 45-degree angle.
The lighting illuminated the entire lobby without being harsh, instead creating a soft and comfortable atmosphere, like the morning sunlight.
There was a subtle scent of burning wood incense in the lobby, but without the large censer. The fragrance was calming without the ash that typically cos with incense burning.
Crystal display cases embedded in the walls showcased porcelain and bronze vessels, while landscape paintings with rich Chinese characteristics hung on the walls.
Even the guest seating in the lobby was made of antique-style wooden benches, and the tea tables were stocked with Da Hong Pao tea leaves, placed as if they were free for anyone to enjoy.
Jiang Siming was quite fond of the overall design.
There were no longer valets in the lobby, but rather, all the beautiful girls dressed in cheongsams. Their smiling faces made guests feel comfortable and increased their trust and fondness for the hotel.
As soon as Jiang Siming entered, one of the girls gracefully approached and asked if he wanted to check in.
"Where's your manager?" Jiang Siming didn't imdiately ntion anything about checking in.
The girl found it a bit strange but still replied politely, "Sir, our manager is in the office. Is there sothing I can assist you with?"
"Tell him I'm here, and my last na is Jiang."
"Alright, I'll relay the ssage right away," the receptionist turned and left for a mont.
Imdiately, another receptionist invited Jiang Siming to sit in the lobby's lounge area, where she served two cups of tea for him and Jiang Lan.
She also asked Jiang Siming if there was anything else he needed, offering impeccable service without a single flaw.
Jiang Siming didn't ask for anything more and simply sat in the chair waiting.
"Brother Jiang, why did you call for the manager?" Jiang Lan curiously asked.
"Of course, I'm going to ask about the hotel's current situation," Jiang Siming replied, subtly showing off.
"Your hotel? This hotel is yours?" Jiang Lan was shocked.
"Exactly," Jiang Siming was quite pleased with her reaction, thinking that his show-off was flawless.
At that mont, a middle-aged woman hurried out from inside the lobby, almost running all the way to Jiang Siming.
"Chairman, hello! I didn't know you were coming today, and I apologize for any lack of hospitality!"
When the middle-aged woman spoke, everyone in the lobby was shocked.
Both the hotel staff and the wealthy guests checking in were surprised that Jiang Siming, so young, was the owner of this five-star hotel!
Jiang Lan felt a bit dizzy. She knew Jiang Siming was wealthy but had no idea just how rich he was.
Initially, she thought he was just a second-generation rich kid, but that couldn't be the case. Otherwise, why would people call him "Chairman"?
"No worries, I ca by on a whim. Do you have any rooms? The best one," Jiang Siming asked.
"We do. There's still one presidential suite available. If you'd like, I can arrange it for you right away," the female manager replied.
"Let soone else handle that. You sit here and tell
about the hotel's recent performance," Jiang Siming said, now fully settled into his role as the hotel's owner.
"Understood," the female manager imdiately assigned a staff mber to handle the check-in and then sat opposite Jiang Siming, pulling out a stack of accounts and all the relevant hotel docunts.
Jiang Siming listened as she explained, and the more he heard, the happier he beca.
This five-star hotel was like a goose that laid golden eggs.
The hotel had 420 rooms in total, spread across nine floors, and each room was designed to et the minimum standards of a five-star establishnt.
Even the cheapest room cost over 5,000 RMB per night, while the nicer ones went for over 20,000 RMB, and the presidential suite was over 50,000 RMB per night.
Since Jiang Siming took over the hotel, counting today, it had only been seven days.
In just seven days, after deducting daily expenses, staff wages, and regular maintenance, the net profit reached over 3 million RMB.
Jiang Siming finally understood why the rich kept getting richer. In seven days, the money he made equaled what many workers would earn in several decades or even a lifeti. How could they possibly compete?
At this rate, the hotel would earn at least 10 million RMB in profit per month, which would amount to over 100 million RMB annually.
He glanced at the construction costs of the hotel, which amounted to just over 300 million RMB.
In three years, the investnt would be fully recouped, and everything after that would be pure profit, money flowing in while lying down.
After going through everything, Jiang Siming nodded in satisfaction and praised, "Well done. Starting today, all hotel staff, including the cleaners, will have their wages increased by 30%."
The female manager was delighted. She hadn't expected the chairman to be so generous on the first day they t!
"Sisters, I have good news to share with everyone. The chairman said we've been performing well lately, and starting today, all employees will get a 30% raise!"
The female manager was very skilled in handling things and imdiately shared the news with the staff.
The employees in the lobby were imdiately grateful to Jiang Siming and repeatedly thanked the chairman.
The room was already arranged, so without staying in the lobby any longer, Jiang Siming took Jiang Lan upstairs.
The female manager personally led Jiang Siming to the presidential suite on the top floor. The decorations inside could only be described as dreamlike.
There was a small swimming pool-style bathtub, an ultra-large and soft luxury bed, and the suite also included a study, dining room, ga room, computer room, and even a small gym.
There were only five presidential suites on the top floor, so each one was very spacious, almost covering all the living areas you might need. You could do whatever you wanted in there.
Jiang Siming noticed that at the other end of the large bed, there was a small waterbed. Such waterbeds were usually used by couples. Lying on it felt like floating in water, making intimate monts particularly enjoyable.
Looking around the presidential suite, Jiang Siming was quite satisfied and dismissed the female manager.
"By the way, what's your na?" Jiang Siming realized he didn't know her na yet.
"Chairman, my na is Yuan Jie," the female manager replied, without any dissatisfaction.
"Alright, you can go. Oh, one more thing, this room will no longer be open to the public. It's reserved for my exclusive use. Have soone renovate it again. I don't like the color of the walls—make them warr. The lighting is too harsh, and the waterbed is too small.
Get a bigger one. Other than these, feel free to make any other adjustnts, but make sure everything is refined. If you need money, just go to the finance departnt, and I'll sign off on it."
"Yes, Chairman." The female manager carefully noted Jiang Siming's requests before taking her leave.
Jiang Siming thoroughly indulged in the thrill of being a boss for once. In the past, it was always others ordering him around, but now the tables had turned—he was the boss, and it was his turn to give the orders.
The feeling was so marvelous and enjoyable. The power of money is truly endless!
