Chapter 476: Let you deal with her

The family mbers gathered for dinner at the dining table. Taking their respective seats, the food was then served.

Everyone was busy talking and laughing except for one person who had his eyes looking at a particular woman who didn’t even spare a glance at him.

Tristan was dying for one look from Ashley but she treated him like he wasn’t present and kept chatting with others.

Sighing at his helplessness, Tristan silently had his food while he kept listening to everyone.

Once they were done having dinner, he excused himself to his study. While the rest headed back to their respective room.

Sitting on his chair, Tristan mindlessly kept turning the pages of the file resting in front of him while his thoughts were busy thinking about Ashley and her silent treatnt.

Though he promised himself to give her the space, he couldn’t find himself stopping thinking about her.

"Argh!.. why am I even sitting here like a loser? You aren’t soone who would give up so easily Tristan Knight and it’s about your wife... how can you stay away from her..." Unable to go on like this Tristan slamd his hands on the table and stood up from his seat.

He couldn’t take it anymore. He had to sort things out with Ashley and seek forgiveness. He knew it was foolish of him to keep fighting her and then ask for an apology, but this ti, he wouldn’t let his insecurity overshadow his sanity.

Tristan believed in Ashley and he knew she was capable enough to look after herself. All he had to do was support her and protect her silently.

The mont he made up his mind, Tristan was about to return to his room when suddenly his phone rang and his footsteps halted in between.

Staring Riel’s na flashing on the screen, Tristan heaved out a sigh and answered the call.

*****

Ashley was sitting inside her room, silently staring at the door hoping for Tristan to show up. So much ti passed and he didn’t return to their room. The longer she waited the more she yearned to see him.

’Did she take it too far’ she thought pondering on her actions.

Though she agreed with her father for not taking the silent treatnt too far, she still let her pride take the lead.

"Let’s get over with this" she finally declared and got up from the bed ready to go after Tristan.

Stepping out of the room Ashley reached the study. She didn’t want to prolong the fight knowing Tristan’s concerns were valid. So she decided to talk.

Knocking on the door, she then turned on the knob and walked inside only to be welcod by pin-drop silent.

"Huh! Where did he go" she mumbled looking around the empty study and quickly retreated.

Once entering the room, she reached for her cell phone and made him a call. As the ring went by Ashley’s heart began to pound inside her chest.

She thought Tristan was purposely ignoring her and the reason why he wasn’t inside his study was because he didn’t want to see her made her anxious. She now regretted her actions and wanted to nd things between them.

"But why isn’t he answering my calls" she frustratingly yelled when the call wasn’t picked.

anwhile, Tristan reached the base where Gabriel was waiting for him.

"Can’t you pick the right ti before summoning " Tristan lazily complained before walking towards the man who seed least bothered by his reaction.

"I found the doctor who treated Sandra" Ignoring his face Gabriel landed straight to the point.

Tristan’s eyes darken at the ntion of the doctor they had been trying to find the entire ti but no matter how much they tried, his n couldn’t locate her.

Along with her identity even her whereabouts were kept hidden. It was frustrating because they failed to find a single person who could bring them to Sandra but now suddenly they found her and he couldn’t wait to interrogate her as soon as possible.

"But there is one problem" Gabriel’s words made Tristan halt his chain of thoughts and he turned his eyes towards him with a deep crease between his brows.

"What problem? Is she giving a hard ti? If so make her spill everything. It’s our only chance to eliminate Sandra from our lives" Tristan’s ruthless side began to surge up.

He didn’t care whether they had to torture the doctor to get information regarding Sandra and her whereabouts. All he wanted was to get back to her and discard her completely.

Gabriel sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. He knew unlike him Tristan would turn impatient once they got a single lead about anything related to Sandra, but whatever he was thinking of doing with the doctor wasn’t a wise way.

They can’t be ruthless with her when she has sowhat managed to escape death.

For now, they only found that it was Bianca who had treated Sandra, but just as clueless as they were, even though she had no idea who those n were and who was the lady she treated back then.

If they had to disclose the truth to her, then it ant she wouldn’t trust them and it was the last thing they wanted right now.

For Gabriel, she was the only hope that would lead them to Sandra, but for letting that happen they had to use their steps wisely. Torturing her would only make her scare them.

"We can’t torture her because she doesn’t know them either" he blurted out.

Don’t know why Gabriel found it odd to think of hurting Bianca. She wasn’t even the culprit instead she was the victim who they wanted to eliminate silently.

If only she had known who the people she was dealing with in the na of humanity were, she wouldn’t have been confused with the things happening to her and as soon she was free from their clutch she wouldn’t have decided to seek cop’s help.

Tristan’s frown deepened when Gabriel refused to agree with him, but then he noticed his aningful gaze and decided to look through his thoughts.

"Then I will let you deal with her but make sure you won’t prolong it for too long"
