Chapter 450: Won’t step back
Linda gulped at the sight of his threatening glares. It was as if he was giving her a chance to speak the truth but was she ready... No!
She wasn’t ready. What if she tells him the truth and he gets enraged?
Linda knew Ryan was very fond of their unborn child and waiting for its arrival, but she failed to protect him. But was it all her fault and he didn’t contribute at all?
No, it was entirely his fault for forcing himself on her. It was he who didn’t hear her even when she tried to stop him.
The thought of her child getting terminated because of his insecurities made Linda resu back to her cold self.
"As if you don’t know what I am up to" Linda scoffed sarcastically enraging Ryan even more.
He had been calm till now even though he was on the brink of losing his cool. Yet instead of being sorry about her actions she was showing him attitude.
Ryan wasn’t able to handle his cool for long and he quickly took a step and grabbed her arm.
"Ah... Ryan! You are hurting " Linda whined in pain.
Ryan’s hold was way too strong and she felt like her hand would break if he kept maintaining the pressure.
Ryan wanted to lash his anger at her, but when he saw her tearing up, he recalled his baby who would indirectly suffer if she felt any pain.
The thought of his child inside her womb stopped him from acting recklessly and his hold around her hand slowly loosened.
Letting go of her hand Ryan held her shoulders and made her look at him. Taking a few deep breaths, he then rested their forehead together.
He was tired of being insecure. Every ti, he watched her with Karl he felt like he would lose her and his child to soone who wasn’t even the true father of their baby.
He knew to live a lavish life, they would need the money they would get once Linda’s grandfather transferred the rightful shares under her na.
But it was only possible if she married soone reliable enough to not use her for her money or soone who wasn’t jobless.
And he wasn’t both of them either which was why he was bluntly rejected by Charles when he t him for the first ti. That old man didn’t think twice before being rude with his words and rejected him right on his face.
He didn’t want his granddaughter to be with a guy who knew nothing and was just being with her because of her money. He wasn’t wrong either.
Though Ryan loved her enough to sleep with her and conceive a baby. He never thought the man would object to his relationship with Linda and refuse to transfer her mother’s share under her na.
Pushing away all the bugging thoughts Ryan cald himself and said," Linda, let’s run away. We don’t want any money"
Ryan’s words caught Linda off guard and she instantly pulled staring at him in disbelief.
Ryan could tell that she was shocked by his words, but couldn’t see her marrying Karl because he feared that he wouldn’t see her again and everything would turn against him.
He was willing to drop this plan because he realized how much he loved her and that he didn’t want to share her with anyone even though it was fake.
Linda watched Ryan with utter disbelief before her face turned ugly and she pushed him. "Are you out of your mind Ryan!... How can you ask
sothing after coming this far"
Linda couldn’t believe her ears. She doubted whether Ryan was still under the influence of alcohol because lately, he had been so unpredictable that she couldn’t understand him anymore.
She had never seen him so jealous about anyone as long. As she assured him that she would never him, no matter what, he would give in without bringing that thought again.
But from these past few days, his jealousy had reached a point where he kept doubting her every action no matter how much she tried to justify herself. And now it had started to bother her.
She couldn’t handle his insecurity because she had too much. If he kept on bugging her like this then there was no point in them being together.
Taking a deep breath Linda cleared her mind and stared back at him. She lowered her guard a little because she didn’t want to be rude to him.
Ryan had been with her all this ti helping her like a loyal dog and she would still need him until she reached her goal. She had to use him for now before she ditched him.
There was no way of being with soone who wasn’t good enough for her. She ended up losing her baby for this idiot and she could tell he didn’t even rember what he did that day and why she left.
But she was grateful that Ryan had no recollection of anything that happened between them as he was dead drunk. He just wanted to unleash his anger because he was too insecure, but his insecurity cost her too much.

Ryan, we can’t terminate the plan just like that. Do you think we would survive with nothing in our accounts? Do you think it’s easy to raise a child when we both have to struggle to earn a huge sum of money? Poverty isn’t sothing I have considered because if I had I wouldn’t have co up with this plan and if... you want to back out then feel free to leave, because I am not stepping back"
Ryan was stunned by her straightforward words. ’Does this an she doesn’t care if he is with her or not and she will continue to do everything that will make her reach her goals’
Ryan didn’t realize when Linda changed so much. He rembered her being madly in love with him, but now why did everything about her seem different?
"Think about it, whether you still want to continue or not because I am firm on my words," she said and left his apartnt without waiting for his answer.
