Tristan eyed the television screen with a proud smile on his lips. He was happy for both Noah and Alice who managed to arrest those people who tried to separate them.

"He surely had his ways" Tristan muttered and switched off the screen.

Noah was like a carefree man who liked fooling around, but very few knew behind that happy face had a hidden beast inside that only ca out when soone tries to cross his limits.

But now that everything was been taken care of, it was ti for his friend to enjoy his married life.

Tristan had fully imrsed in his work when his phone rang and he paused for a second to look at the caller’s na. Tilting his head in amusent, Tristan answered the call with a contagious smile lingering on his face.

"I was waiting for your call my ex-friend" Tristan purposely ntioned that word knowing how it irked the person on the call.

Gabriel sneered at his cheerful voice as he tried to maintain his cool in front of Tristan but when he heard him chuckle he lost his calm.

"If you don’t stop calling

then I will hang the call" Gabriel warned gnashing his teeth in annoyance but that only made the man on the other end laugh wholeheartedly.

Rubbing his forehead in defeat, Gabriel let the man laugh all by himself and when he finally stopped, he heard him say," So you finally agree to my offer, don’t you"

Tristan knew if they had to find the main suspect then they had to join hands without anyone being aware of it. It was the only way to make that person believe that he had managed to worsen the dispute between them even more.

"In your dreams" ca Gabriel’s response and the smile on Tristan’s lips faltered.

"I only called you to let you know that I do agree with your offer but that doesn’t an I have forgiven you" Tristan rolled his eyes hearing Gabriel’s childish words.

"Who are you? A five-year-old kid. Grow up Gabriel, we both knew I wasn’t at fault for whatever happened back then. It was all your father’s plan that ruined our friendship" Tristan stated pointing out the facts.

Gabriel scoffed at his words and let out a humorless chuckle but soon turned quiet." And what about Sandra?" he asked.

"You knew I never had feelings for her Riel. It was she who took things far assuming my kindness and friendship for sothing different"

Tristan had tried to reach him many tis but Gabriel had entirely shut himself out from his life after Sandra’s death. He put the entire bla on him without listening to him for once.

Gabriel didn’t speak a word and just remained quiet. He was very well aware of Tristan never having any feelings for Sandra but the fact that she took her own life made him hate him.

Tristan’s frown deepened when he didn’t hear Gabriel yell at him in return and that made him wonder if he ended the call. Just when he was about to pull his phone back from his ear, he heard him say," I want to et you now." he was back to his cold and indifferent behavior towards him, and that made Tristan heave a sigh before he agreed to him.

"Fine. It’s ti that we have a man-to-man talk" Tristan stated with a determined tone and ended the call before he left his cabin.

Alice woke up feeling soreness everywhere over her body.

Last night was the most passionate night out of all the nights they both shared in the past. She thought it would be her who would please her husband but it turned out to be she who got thrilled instead.

Noah was like an untad beast who kept pleasuring her like there was no tomorrow showering her with love and tenderness, making love with her the whole night. She never thought having him by her side would make her imperfect life perfect.

Spooning in his embrace, Alice slowly opened her eyes and turned around to find Noah extrely close to her face.

Her eyes slowly began to tear up letting out a small sob that ended up waking Noah. The mont their eyes t, a deep frown marred his face and he ended up jerking up from the bed.

Noah got anxious the mont he saw her red eyes. She was crying and it made him recall last night when he didn’t spare his wife and kept taking her the whole night.
