Chapter 309: What a small world
By the ti Sandra join the group in the cafeteria, her mood was a lot better. She was even smiling leaving everyone confused.
"Was it your constipation that made you grumpy all the ti? You look better after you-" Gabriel couldn’t finish his words when suddenly he received a punch on his arm.
"Ouch" he growl in pain and watched her dust her hand as if she didn’t hear his crying voice.
Everyone laughed at them, but the one that caught her attention was Tristan. His smile was out of the world that brightened up her mood in an instant. She wanted to ask him if whatever she heard earlier was true but she chose to hold back as she didn’t want to spoil his plan.
While Sandra was busy pondering in her thoughts suddenly, Tristan asked, "Any reports about the culprit" his unexpected words caught her off guard, and she started coughing hysterically taking everyone by surprise.
Panicked Tristan quickly passed her a glass of water and carefully caressed her back until she felt better. Just a small gesture and Sandra felt her body lose its strength. How many tis had she imagined Tristan being this close to her? Her mind had already accepted him as her partner.
"Better," he asked. Concern still lacing his voice.
Retreating his hand away from her Tristan heard Gabriel say," Dude, don’t bring that topic again. Sandra gets disturbed at the ntion of Alexa’s death"
Gabriel didn’t question the reason why Sandra felt so nervous but Tristan he found her behavior a little odd. ’Why would Alexa’s death trigger her so much? She wasn’t even close to her’ he thought as his eyes sharply looked at her.
After so ti, Noah too joined them along with his new girlfriend Mia. Sandra who wasn’t aware of this latest discovery blinked her eyes in disbelief.
"Don’t tell , he again found a new girl for himself?" she asked leaning next to Gabriel and the latter bobbed his head innocently.
As everyone eyed the couple, not expecting Noah to be this shaless to bring his flings along, suddenly they heard Mia speak," I hope you guys don’t mind if I join you all" all eyes turned to et the girls smiling face, and before anyone could object she pulled a chair for herself and sat down.
Tristan snapped a glare at Noah who scratched the back of his neck, motioning to him sorry, and took a seat for himself next to Mia.
An awkward silence captured the entire table as no one spoke. Mia was their dean’s daughter and this shaless Noah happened to date her.
What if her father sohow finds out about their relationship? They all will be dood but the one who will lose his life is Noah himself. The person who will do it wasn’t their dean but his mother, Aunty Anna.
As ti passed by Noah started to feel uncomfortable as it was quite evident by everyone’s looks that they didn’t like Mia being here with them. Glancing at everyone, Noah ran his brain to co up with sothing when suddenly he rembered.
"Sandra, w-what are your plans for your birthday?"
"Ahem!" Tristan cleared his throat as he watched Noah, signaling him to shut his mouth but the man just ignore him and waited for Sandra to speak.
Gabriel gawked at Noah as if he wanted to rip that stupid smile off his face. ’This man is surely going to ruin my plan’ he thought ntally cursing his friend who wasn’t good at keeping any secret unless it was related to him.
Sandra on the other hand was caught off-guard. Slowly averting her eyes from Tristan she watched him eyeing Noah angrily and that made her smile internally.
Pulling her eyes away from him she looked at Noah and answered," No, I have no plans for my birthday"
After whatever she heard back inside the restroom, Sandra was now looking forward to celebrating her birthday with Tristan.
"Good! So it’s decided you are going to celebrate your birthday with us" Noah declared as he clapped looking at his friends who also heaved a sigh of relief.
Heaving out a sigh, Tristan agreed with Noah. Finally, this dumb head did sothing sensible.
"Yes, I agree with Noah. Why don’t you celebrate your birthday with us" Tristan said sharing a aningful glance at Gabriel before he turned to look at Sandra.
"Sure, I don’t mind" Sandra didn’t oblige and agreed easily.
After it was decided, the friends spend so ti chatting with each other and they left their respective ways.
Tristan and Karl excused themselves to the library while Gabriel decided to accompany Sandra to her ho. Even though she declined it many tis, still he wasn’t ready to listen.
After much debate, she finally gave in and hopped into his car before they drove to her house but they didn’t know soone had been keeping an eye on them secretly.

"Yes, boss" The man quickly reacted to his words and after a few tis, he turned back passing the piece of news he found.
Alphonse read the information about the girl na Sandra and his eyes lit up when he found out who she was.
"What a small world" He mumbled with a victorious smile as he motioned his n with a aningful glance.
"I’ll take care of it, boss" The man said and soon they drove away from the university.

Library
Tristan and Karl were busy making notes when suddenly out of nowhere Noah barged in disturbing their peaceful ti.
"Guys, I have sothing important to tell you" slamming his hands in front of them he caught their attention
Tristan and Karl glared at Noah but when he didn’t flinch, they both understood that he was serious.
"Let’s get out of here," Tristan said when he caught everyone’s eyes on them. Quickly picking up their stuff, the trio walked out of the library.

Stopping the car in front of Sandra’s house, Gabrielle watched her unlock the seatbelt. Before she could take a step he called her na and she turned back to see him.
Before she could understand, Gabriel pulled her for a tight hug catching her off guard.
"Thank you for agreeing Noah," he said and she pulled back giving him a puzzled look, but she was too tired to run her brain.
"Hmm.." pursing her lips she smiled and stepped out of the car before she walked inside her house.
Gabriel was happy that everything was happening the way he assud it but little did he know, this happiness was soon going to fade away. His eyes kept watching the girl until she vanished from his sight and that was when he turned on the engine and drove away from there.

On the empty playground, the trio sat under the tree with their eyes looking at an unknown distance.
"What if it isn’t Sandra? What if Mia saw soone else" Tristan asked as he moved his eyes toward Noah.
"Even I doubted the sa but she swore on , dude" Noah stated as he ruffed his hair annoyingly.
On their way to the main building Noah and Mia witnessed so cops passing by. At first, they just ignored it but when Mia suddenly asked him if Sandra had recorded her statent, he stopped.
Noah was surprised by her words but when he asked her further to confirm, she told him that she had seen following Alexa to the top floor of the building. She was about to stop them both since the place was forbidden to cross, soone called her, and before she could stop them the girls were gone.
The was a long pause between the three of them when Karl said," Is that why she suddenly panicked when you ntioned about the cops" he knew he shouldn’t be doubting their friend but the way she reacted back there in the canteen wasn’t casual.
Noah shrugged his shoulder and turned both turned to look at Tristan.
He sat there without uttering a word as his mind was preoccupied with various thoughts, but one thing kept popping up was the rumor about soone secretly bullying the girls, and no one had yet found that person.
