Chapter 521: Chapter 520: Little Greedy Cat

In the bustling dim sum restaurant, custors brought their families along, ordered so breakfast dishes, and chatted happily. William Griffith’s appearance instantly attracted attention. It was not surprising, as he dressed like a celebrity with exquisite attire, looking nothing like soone who would dine in a small eatery. Cherish Turner felt annoyed, wondering if it was a mistake to bring him here.

However, William headed straight to an empty table and sat down, seemingly oblivious to the surrounding gazes. She had no choice but to follow suit and sit with him. A wide variety of dim sum was available on the serving trolley. Cherish asked, “What would you like to eat?”

“Anything,” he replied in two brief words.

As they chose the dim sum and the server was about to collect the paynt, Cherish was about to pay, but William swiftly took out a gold card from his wallet. The server apologetically said, “I’m sorry, sir, but we only accept cash here.”

William frowned abruptly; it was apparent that this was the first ti he’d been to a place like this.

“I have cash,” Cherish hurriedly took out the money and paid the bill. The server pushed the dim sum trolley to the next table. She looked at William and saw his sullen expression, unable to gauge his emotions. Cherish suddenly rembered Yannis Griffith; when she secretly paid the bill back then, Yannis said it was improper for a woman to pay, as it would make him feel embarrassed.

The atmosphere was sowhat stifling, so she pushed a soup dumpling towards him and softly said, “Try it and see if you like the taste.”

William only glanced at her but remained silent.

His expression was just like that of a sulking child, amusing and sowhat adorable.

Cherish’s eyes gradually showed a hint of laughter, but she couldn’t laugh out loud. She took a spoon and straw, handed it to him, and gently reminded, “It won’t taste good once it cools down.”

After so hesitation, William finally took action and began to eat. He still held the chopsticks high, the slender fingers with distinct joints. Cherish inadvertently turned her head and saw his long, thick eyelashes covering his eyelids as he ate, making him look extrely good-looking from this angle.

Very few girls had such long eyelashes. William must be the most handso man in the world, she thought to herself.

Cherish lowered her head and started eating the crispy pastries, the specialty of this small eatery. When she took a bite, it was delicious and crispy, filled with sesa seeds and a sweet but not greasy bean filling. Girls generally couldn’t resist sweets, and although Cherish had no particular taste preferences, she loved these pastries. She ate one and picked up another one to eat.

“Why don’t you try one?” She took a pastry and placed it on his plate.

William put down his chopsticks, looked up at her, and saw her innocent face filled with a childlike, satisfied smile. With just simple, cheap dim sum, she ate as happily and contentedly as if she’d uncovered a treasure. This happiness ward his heart.

He noticed so sesa crumbs on her face and reached out to brush them off.

As Cherish was still eating, she didn’t have ti to react. It wasn’t until his fingertips touched her cheek that she beca startled. She looked at him sideways, finding his handso, composed face warm and gentle, as his fingers lightly scraped her cheek, wiping away the sesa crumbs.

William’s deep, serene gaze t hers, his soft voice murmuring, “Little glutton.”

She was amazed to see his usually cold expression so gentle, and was dumbstruck. The food in her mouth barely made it down her slender throat before she grabbed a glass of water and gulped it down.

Heavens! Cherish Turner, how could you act like a lovesick girl!
