Chapter 300: Epilogue
One Month Later

"We have recovered all the cocoons, and have safely brought them back here" Touka reported to the Pri Minister.
"According to our analysis they will be hatching soon" Hachiro followed in adjusting his glasses.
"I see... so all these ti they were more of them... more of the bio-genetics" Pri minister Kiyoshi said still trying to wrap his head around it.
"We’re currently focusing on rebuilding all we have lost" he began rising to his feet and walking to the glass window that showed the view of the building city. "Thanks to the bio-genetics the queen is gone and we all lived to see tomorrow if it wasn’t for them what could have beco of us" he pondered but yet his heart swelled in pride.
"We shall stand and beco stronger than we have ever been, we shall take this new life given to us in its graces, those Kaijus will not trample on us again!" he faces them with stern eyes, determined to rebuild and protect what was left of humanity.

Hachiro and Touka walked out of the Pri Ministers’ office.
"Touka" she halts.
"I know we have been busy all this ti but how are you?" he asked worried for Touka has been now focused on her duty and nothing else.
"I’m fine," she said in a simple tone about to walk away.
"You know I’m here for you, right?"
A faint smile found her lips and she faces him, his heart lted when he saw her looks.
"Thank you Hachiro"
He nods as a faint blush found his cheeks and he quickly looks away.
"It’s a new era for all of us" she began. "Humanity has reclaid the surface, the Queen’s gone and peace is restored, it almost feels like a dream"
"And almost too good to be true" he finished for her and she nods.
"Let’s hope we are ready to face whatever cos ahead after this"

Touka stood in front of the dignified grave of General Anzai holding flowers, she dropped them adding to the pile of others there.
"It’s not the sa without you... Anzai" she said with sad eyes as she held onto the necklace he gave her with the flash drive containing the X file, she was yet to see its contents for she haven’t readied herself to but she knew sooner or later she would... just like he hoped she would.

The beeping monitor machine could be heard in Sand’s dical room, his hand flinch in movent and the machine made loud alert noises.
His eyelashes flickered and his orbs leisurely open, they were weak and still.
The door slid open and Aimi walked in with a sad expression, but at the sound of the alarming machine, she gasped seeing Sand. She covered her mouth as tears filled her eyes, the next ti she dashed out.
Sand was weak so he was forced to close his eyes back. He didn’t know for how long he did and then he heard an echoing voice in his senses.
"Sand"
"Sand... can you hear ? Sand"
The voice echoed in his brain.
"I need you to move your hand can you do that?"
He did as requested.
"That’s good keep doing that... Now I want you to open your eyes, can you do that?"
He groaned he could recognize the voice, it was female and mature, was that Dr. Touka? he opened his eyes and t with a full house... Shino, Ten, Hiro, Yuki, Mosu, Kaneki, Yumi, Mirai, Haya, Raiden, Sumi, Ren, Mary, Homura, Daiki, Kana, Himari and Ryu.

"E-Everyone," he said weakly.
Aimi quickly engulfed him in a bear and cried.
"Welco back roommate," Kaneki said with a bright smile, everyone gave him a welcoming smile too.
He couldn’t understand the situation but he could see it in their eyes, they were all relaxed and less tensed than they always were, he couldn’t wait to hear all about it.
"I’m back..." a weak smile found his lips.

Touka took her seat, her lips pressed in a thin line before she took a deep breath, taking the necklace off and inserting the flash drive into her computer.
Her eyes trembled as she clicked on the file, it opened showing various docunts and videos, out of curiosity she played the first video.
The video was sort of shaky like soone was recording, she took the scene of the environnt it looked like a hospital or a lab?
"Dr. Aiko, Dr. Aiko... look here"
She turned and Touka gasped, that was Hiro’s mother, what was she doing in this classified Video?
She skimd through the video and it felt like her heart was cracking as she dug and dug deeper, the puzzles falling into the place, everything, the pieces covering up, and the one discovery remained that shocked her bones.
"Hiro... is the X-file"

Hiro sat at the tallest building, the night skies on full display, his mind still playing the hazy encounter he had with that person that claims to be his real self. The more he tried to think about it, the more it didn’t make any sense.
He rose to his feet, allowing the breeze to swirl around him and he closed his eyes, loving the peaceful air.
"Mom, dad, General Anzai..." he opened his blind eyes. "Are you at peace now?"

"Ha Yuki"
Yuki inside the tube flinch at the voice, it was him again, she has only been awake and he was here yet again.
"It’s ti for your glorious purpose"
At his words her eyes went wide, no it can’t happen now she was slowly taking over her other self, she just needed more ti but ti was not on her side.
He took off his gloves revealing his robotic hands. "Do not fight it, Yuki"
She tried to speak but she couldn’t, the next was blurry, but she felt it, she was being transferred, the energy they have accumulated within her body, if he do this now she will no longer be able to connect to her other self and protect Hiro, he was all that matters.
She would just have faith in the little essence of herself that she stored within her, but will that be enough? Tears leaked from her eyes. ’Hiro’
The tube glowed in golden energy and she felt the consciousness slip away from her body. ’Hiro’
The gleaming energy passed through the pipes flowing from her tubes to the others, and the area seed to generate lights like the place was powering up.
"Yes, yes" The man ca out of the dark revealing himself to be a robotic man. He laughed. "Yes, Yes, Yes!" he watch as the other tubes ca online, you could tell that soone occupied them.
He walked to the controls, he was well pleased, the next stage of their plan was under control, for the Queen Kaiju was rely a pawn.
He set the awakening date for his superiors as the info ca up.
