"Mirai was able to release the true potential of her blood weapon along with Ren, Kaneki, Yuki, Shino, Sumi, Raiden. These nas ntioned are now symbiosis with their blood weapons"
"But?" Anzai asked knowing there was more, he knew two nas weren’t ntioned yet.
"Hiro’s has always been a strange case as well as how his blood weapon evolved, but we know he has the strongest energy flow than the others due to why he mutated differently," she said turning him.
"In order words, Hiro is not yet symbiotic with his blood weapon"
"I see"
"But he can go through with the second stage along with the others, he has the potential... But there’s a risk he might sky jump in his level again" she said.
"That will be a problem," Anzai said for certain.
"Yes it will if we aren’t careful, level 15 at their age is the maximum, any higher than that could kill them or worse"
Anzai gulped.
"Don’t worry Anzai I will think of sothing for Hiro" she assured him.
He smiled.
"And as for Mizuki, I found out why he could phase like Daiki"
"What’s the reason?"
"When I checked his cells there was nothing new there like his own special traits"
"So what are you saying Touka?"
"I’m saying that Mizuki mimicked Daiki’s abilities to phase"
Anzai’s eyes went wide in awe.
"That damn kid... he turned his mimicking habit into an ability?"
Touka sighs before nodding.
Anzai snickered.
"In order words that should be his special trait" she shrugs.
Anzai sighed, running his finger in his hair.
"Guess that can’t be helped can it?"
"As for Shino I did so observation... turns out he can pause ti"
"Pause ti? Is that even possible?"
"Not exactly in his own case he’s actually speeding up his body movent, in doing so the rest of the world around him are paused while he’s the only one moving... because of this it consus his energy, my guess he rarely uses it because of that" Touka explained.
"Well this is interesting... its almost like they are evolving"
"Not exactly..." she states moving so screens to show Anzai.
"The virus in their cells are evolving... it’s like their energy is becoming stronger"
"What about the death clocks on their heads? The Sp4 stage?"
"That’s still a fact... definitely if they cross that stage they will die, but we needn’t worry about that because SPS can still slow it down... what I’m more worried about is the evolving stage they are in... it’s a mystery, the virus isn’t just mutating them... it’s making them stronger and why?"
"So you’re saying whoever made this virus that could only affect a certain amount of kids, making them stronger is part of their plan?" Anzai said puzzled, it was also like a fact but didn’t make sense at all, a virus that created a different race of species who now think they are the dominating predator.... also the sa virus the reason they had super kids... also making them powerful? It was confusing.
"If this virus is intended on making them powerful there must be a reason for it... there must be a goal" Touka said.
"Well, it’s a mystery to us... just like how the person responsible for this is still a mystery" Anzai said as his eyes narrowed, his mind still drifting back to the case of the X-file.
"None of this makes sense," Touka said with trembling eyes, she wanted so badly to understand this so that she can help the kids more... they knew their chances of a cure for them was highly impossible because the structure of the virus could not be detected, it was almost like an unknown variant to them. At least if not that... she wanted them to adapt to it and no longer be afraid of the virus but can she make that happen when she had no understanding of this particular virus... she was a doctor and a scientist for crying out loud. Her fist clenched hard at the thought, and yet it was like she couldn’t do a damn thing.
Her body flinched when she felt Anzai’s hand against her shoulder, she turned to him, he had a smile fixed on his lips.
"Anzai" her eyes trembled.
"We will get through this... as soon as we end this war we can study the virus to a point of no break, it may take years but maybe just maybe in those years we can understand it and more find a cure," he said with a smile against his lips, he wasn’t a doctor or a scientist but he knew and believe in the ti to co they will surely unravel all the mysteries surrounding the Sp-Virus, all they needed was ti to do so and ending this war would give them that.
Touka smiled warmly at him, his words gave her courage, courage to keep going even though they thought all hope was lost, that was just the kind of man Anzai was... a man who had been through a lot but kept going no matter what and gave hope... he wasn’t just hoping for her but for the bio-genetics.
"Mm," she made a sound nodding her head, Anzai’s smile broaden.
Their gaze fixed on each other for what seed like seconds.
"Ahem"
They froze at the sound, they turned to Akio who was before them.
"Sorry but hope I’m not interrupting sothing"
"I-Interrupt what?" Touka mouthed as her cheeks turned red.
"There’s nothing to interrupt," Anzai said chuckling nervously scratching the back of his hair.
"Okay then," Akio said with a shrug.
"Ahem!" he cleared his throat once again as his looks turned serious.
"The Strike Team are currently asleep, by your orders they are already moved to their new bedrooms" he announced.
Anzai and Touka looked at each other before nodding.
