The calm in the Golden Shifter was felt weeks later after wiping out the threat of Aipaloovik and the old geezers from the Golden Shifter clan. News of Tizheruk defeating Cordelia was welcod in the pack and we were in a celebratory mood for the next few weeks.
Commander Abram had bought a house and settled the Battalion Jerusha, Grahan, and Oliver in Chugach. Uncle Cadman had helped him harness the mountain power and he was training to be the next Guardian of Chugach prison and the mountain. There was no news from Tochigi as yet but the Aria family, Lovita, Aurora, Thank, and Totem had plans to go to Tochigi soon after the birth of Sayuri and Zinebs’s babies.
Hunter, Everest, and Lovita still ran the pack as I finalized the Freki resort while Lucian delegated his duties to Zeeb, Anisha, Tharn, and Toten.

Godmother was back in Chugach with Mrs. Hemming and the Freki Resort was almost done. But the health of Godmother deteriorated so fast and Uncle Cadman and Aurora inford
that her bones were decaying so fast.
After discussing Godmother’s illness, I a week consulting the doctors and practicing magic that could extend Godmother’s life and cure her decaying bones. I had taken a chopper out of Chugach late afternoon and gone to the mountains to seek help from a healer witch who resided on the north side of the mountain. I arrived late in the evening at the Freki Mansion and found Zeeb in the living room and he looked at

" Why are you here? " He asked in surprise as he sipped a glass of juice.
"What do you an? " I scoffed off " This is my ho as much as it is yours"

We had almost finalized the Freki resort and hence planned to move out of the Freki Mansion and suggested that Zeeb and Anisha move in. I arrived at the shed and found he had made a fire and prepared coffee. I shifted back to human form and realized that Lucian was furious. He never turned around as I walked towards him and I chose to be humble as I went down to my knees and placed my head on his lap.
"I’ve done sothing to upset you." I did not get further than the sentence before Lucian interrupted
with a huff.
