Chapter 269: ELDER KANJI’S FINAL MOVE
Two days later a guard arrived at the villa with a ssage from the Yakuza council demanding that they needed to see .
"I don’t want to et anyone " I drawled and waved my hand to dismiss him.
One hour later, he was still pacing outside my house. I knew the Yakuza council’s agenda was pushing for us to send spies to Chugach and Sitka. Elder Kanji had this well planned out. I was so lost in thought that the voices outside my door alard . I listened in and it was one of the elders of the Yakuza. Sighing stood up and walked to the main door, yanked it open, found three elders standing there and I sarcastically asked "Do you think that anyone has a right to shout outside my ho? Unless you want to die an early death!"
"I apologize for your highness, but the Yakuza council has been waiting for you since this morning. We have urgent matters to discuss" One of the elders spoke up.
"Discuss? I thought we finalized the matters two days ago. What could be more urgent?" I stared at him until he fidgeted. But the other two remained stubborn. He braced himself and continued "Your Highness, as the leader of the Yakuza we need your guidance" I almost applauded the old elder for his tenacity and knew that I would not barge.
I turned and walked into the living room and sat down. No one followed
in and this got on my nerves. "Are you going to stand there all day?" I yelled in anger. They all rushed into my ho and stood waiting in the living room.
"Why must we et today?" I asked in a bored manner.
"Isamu. We received word that Conri and Lucian are in Sitka. Our spies inford us that they even went into the pearl nest and spent two days in it"
"So, I heard" I lied. It seems that Elder Kanji was working overti.

to yell that we needed a course of action. It was no longer easy to push my buttons and I watched as the wheels turned in his head and he went ahead with his next plan.
" We already got word that they plan on venturing into the pearl business. The pearl farm that Kaka died on is owned by the Aria family. The Yakuza is ready to support Lobo and Zineb to get it back so that we can increase our footprint for the pearl business. "
"The intel that I have is that the pearl farm was donated to the Golden shifter pack. " I snapped.
"The Yakuza council feels that you have been too reluctant to do anything for us but when it cos to the Aria you go the extra lengths to protect them. " One elder snapped.
I stood up and could feel my beast pushing
to slit his throat.
"We lost the Tabular. The whole world knew that it was the greatest strength. And now that we want to attack Tizheruk you have stopped us. We made peace with it and the least you can do is make us get the pearl farm and increase our holdings and wealth, "he added.
He finally did it. He has pushed my buttons and now they would regret ever calling
for this eting.
"I appreciate your honest elder. I will be joining the Yakuza council eting shortly" I was calm as I responded to him. Calm on the outside and raging on the inside.
They nodded and walked out of the villa. I stood up in anger and growled while Zineb walked into the room. She moved closer laced her arm around my waist and said " I have a plan. Have soone prepare drinks for all the Yakuza council. Have them serve the drinks once you are seated. The drink will have a drop of my blood. You and I know that the wolf bond I have linked
to Lobo and Lovita. It is also poisonous to anyone who is not our mate. Use this to threaten them and make them cower with fear. "
" Thank you love" I leaned down and we kissed passionately.
" Never let anyone second guess you " Zineb’s eyes flashed when we ended the kiss." As requested I prepare the docunts on the bank transactions of the Yakuza council elders. They received money from Lucian through Elder Kanji. Even Kaka got it and hence you have the upper hand on this. "
" Good. It’s ti to disband the Yakuza council once and for all." I vowed.
We left the villa and drove to the council hall. Elder Amaya and Sayuri stood outside the hall looking irritated.
" Why did you co " Elder Amaya huffed.
" It’s fine. Co on. It’s ti to deal with them once and for all. " I stated.
"I will handle the drinks. Have Elder Amaya and Sayuri sit next to you " Zineb winked and disappeared into the hall’s kitchen.
We walked in to find irritated council mbers and I sat down with a thud. I sermoned the guard and instructed him " Prepare drinks for the council mbers as an apology to keep them waiting. "
In minutes the guards were back, serving each of them drinks and I could tell they scented the new scent in the drink. I could see how their eyes widened when I lifted my glass and toasted each one of them. As I fed, none of them touched their drinks. I looked at them in wonder and laughed "Don’t tell
you think I poisoned the drinks?"
They all shook their heads in a panic, while Elder Kenji and Kaka stared at
like I had gone crazy. But Elder Amaya and Sayuri sipped their drinks with leisure and placed the glasses back on the table.
"Isamu, did hear the news about Conri and Lucian going to the pearl nest in Sitka? " Kaka asked.
"Mmhh" I nodded and instructed the guard to pour
another drink
"I recomnd we attack the Golden shifter pack now that they are in Sitka" He stated. The rest of the council mbers humd in response.
"Attack ?" I tapped my fingers on the dinner table in annoyance.
"Yes," Elder Kanji nodded.
"Okay then. I will only do it under one condition" I stated. The coven council mbers stared at
with enthusiasm.
"I would like you all to tell
which one of you received money from Lucian Freki the last ti he was here. Who hosted Conri and his team, who prepared the eting, who saw them out of Tochigi and how did they get past the airport security without the Yakuza’s knowledge? I do pay you council mbers plus the guards to give such intel and ensure that the Yakuza is impenetrable. I am asking this because if we are to attack the Golden Shifter pack, what makes you all think that soone will not set a trap and have all our mbers killed? Who says no mole in the Yakuza would expose us? Are you aware that Conri and Lucian have two mbers from Tochigi amongst them? Kaka and Keito, wolves that are powerful as one of them carries the healing power of Tizheruk" I demanded.
The Yakuza council mbers stared at
like I had grown horns but I was not going to back down. The way they had pushed
into this eting was the sa way I would push them to cover in fear
"I want you all to think carefully before answering. And let us not waste the drinks. Your cups have been filled" My eyes flashed at each one of them. They all remained silent and I watched as Elder Kanji and Kaka’s eyes filled with fear.
" The drinks are poisoned," Kaka spoke up.
" Are they? I doubt it " I sipped mine and added " I am still alive" Zineb was a genius. Everyone in the room stared at the glasses with fear and it was a ssage to the Yakuza council that I was not to trifled with.
" Guards" I yelled and the whole room was filled with guards standing behind each council mber while the council mbers finally realized their fate was in my hands. Can you report on your finding" I turned to the guard who stood beside .
"Yes, leader Isamu. I found out that It was indeed Elder Kanji who received the highest amount of money from Lucian Freki. Here are the bank transactions of all the Yakuza mbers." The guard reported.
I took the report and threw it on the table. The only people who did not look affected were Elder Amaya and Sayuri.
" They all received money ?" Sayuri took the report and then gasped. She turned to Kaka and he looked down in embarrassnt while Elder Kanji’s eyes darted all over.
" I rember the rules set for the Yakuza council and one of them stated that no one shall betray the Yakuza and receive money that will cause harm to the Yakuza mbers. But isn’t this what you did? " I growled and banged the table so loudly that the glasses rattled and so fell and the drinks poured on the table. The reaction of so of the mbers was comical as they staggered back to avoid the drink pouring on them.
" That is the uttermost rule" Elder Amaya stated.
" Unless you want
to slit your throats, you are all dismissed as mbers of the Yakuza council" I growled so loud that the hall shook.
" You have no power to" Kaka uttered and I cut his words short as I moved with speed, grabbed his neck with one hand, and squeezed it while my other hand held Elder Kanji’s face and banged it to the table. They all yelled and scread in pain and fear.
" I have all the power to do so " I growled as the other council mbers rushed out of the hall in fear. I let go of them and dumped them on the floor with my final words " You better leave Tochigi today. If I see your faces, I will show no rcy."
