Chapter 240: A MOLE IN THE PACK
The Golden Sifter pack office was bursting with pack mbers rushing here and there by the ti I arrived.
" Greetings Beta Lovita" They all bowed as they got onto their work.
I walked to the reception area and asked the receptionist what was happening.
" Alpha Conri has requested docunts of the pack for the last five years. Hence the pack mbers are rushing to get everything ready" She inford .
I nodded and walked over to Alpha Conri Dolf’s office. I knocked and got into the office and found Conri and Everest glued in reading the docunts.
" Greetings Alpha" I spoke up.
" Lovita, you are late " His stern voice made
freeze.
" The trip to the Island was tiring and I passed through Due Corporation to finalize on the docuntation with Anisha and Toten" I responded.
" Is everything done ?" Everest inquired.
" Yes. Old man Aria left the land to Ma. We already have the title and handed it to Anisha and Zeeb" I answered.
" Wow," Everest whispered.
" That makes our work easier. Toten also assessed the lands and will report on the sa. The old man Cyrus who manages the farm has five employees and will offer all the assistance needed. " I responded.
Conri nodded and I could tell he was pleased by the way his eyes dropped the guarded look that he had when I walked in.
’" What do you need
to do ?" I asked politely.
" I am looking for all the workers who registered to work in the mines for the past five years. I want to get a head count of how many of our pack mbers worked in the mines. I have a feeling that most of the moles in the pack are hiding as mine workers"
" That could be it. Oh by the way John Tharn reported that the secretary at the pack office is a mole planted by Zineb. He heard her reporting to Zineb and wanted to stay in the Golden Shifter pack office longer and get evidence on the sa" I inford Conri and Everest.
" Shit" Everest cursed.
" I suggest we set a trap for her and catch her red-handed. " I voiced my thoughts.
" No need" Conri growled and then stood up and walked out of the office.
" What ?" I asked Everest and he chuckled
" Conri Dolf will never let a traitor get away with betraying the pack " Everest shrugged his shoulders.
He appeared after a minute and was followed by Tala and the receptionist that John Tharn had ntioned. Conri walked to his desk while Tala and the secretary stood by the door.
" What is your na?" Conri asked her.
" My na is Shen Carn Alpha Conri" She spoke up.
" Why do you think I summoned you ?" Conri demanded as his eyes blazed at her.
" I have no idea Alpha Conri" She raised her head.
Conri chuckled and then leaned back on his chair and in seconds we all felt his power as she pushed it towards Shen and she fell on her knees and scread.
Tala stepped aside while Everest and I stood straight on alert.
" I will ask again, why do you think I summoned you ?" Conri’s eyes blazed.
She remained mute as she struggled to breathe and held on to her chest. " Alpha Conri, I am at fault" She attempted to speak.
" Confess to your cris " Conri stood up.
She lowered her head and whispered " I have been giving Zineb Aria intel about the pack. "
" What ?" Tala yelled. " Are you fucking crazy?"
" I owe her my life. She saved
once when her brother Lobo wanted to rape . I have just been doing what I can to keep my family safe, " Shen pleaded.
" What the fuck ?" Everest cursed.
"You do know there was a way out. Once Lobo left the pack, you should have trusted everyone around you. Especially "She wolf Luna Elijah" Conri snapped at Shen.
" I wanted to, but Zineb sent a guard to threaten my mother" Shen sobbed.
" Which guard ?" Everest moved closer to Shen.
" The guard at the KODA council prison. His na is Aaron" She answered in between sobs.
" Co Tala. Ti to wipe out vermin. The guard is here at the pack offices. He was transferred when Alpha Conri took office. " Everest said and Tala followed him out of the office.

" I will leave her in your care. You decided the punishnt that is suited for her " Alpha Conri spoke up to .
" As you wish Alpha" I nodded and then turned to Shen " I suggest we move her from the pack office to Due Corporation’s HR office. I will ask Toten to take her in and watch over her. As for her family, I will ask the enforcers to watch over them and ensure no harm cos to them"
" That sounds good" Conri nodded.
" Thank you Alpha Conri, " I said as I dragged Shen out of Conri’s office. We walked to the reception area and commanded her " You have five minutes to pack your bags and et
in the parking lot. I have very good hearing skills and if I dare to call anyone, I will know. Your punishnt will be so severe that you will wish that you were dead"
I left the pack office’s reception area and walked to the parking lot. Shen arrived a minute later running with a bag and box as she looked terrified.
" I am here Beta Lovita " She answered respectfully.
" That is more like it " I chuckled " Get in the car "
We boarded the car and left the pack office just as the sun was setting. By the ti we got to Due Corporation it was already night.
" Where is your phone ?" I demanded as I switched off the car.
She hurriedly removed her cell phone and extended her hand to .
" I an the phone that you have been using to contact Zineb. " I snapped.
She blinked once and then again before she put back the phone she had extended to
and removed a smaller cell phone from her bag and I grabbed it before she could extend her hand to .
I checked the phone and there were calls to Tochigi for the past two months. The last call was one week ago. I snickered and put the phone in my pocket.

We got out of the car and entered the building. We took the lift to the HR office and found John Tharn at the reception. His eyes widened and when he saw he stood up and pointed at her. " Why are you together?" His face was filled with rage.
" Calm down " I growled
" Do you know what she is ?" John Tharn moved from behind the desk and approached.
" I do. Thank you for your intel we flashed her out " I moved close to him to stop him from doing anything stupid.
His eyes blinked once and then he huffed " Why are you with her?"
I moved closer to him and whispered " Oh little wolf, you look so handso when throwing a jealous fit"

as I walked away from him and beckoned When to follow . Knocking the Toten office door, I let us in and found him glued to his laptop.
" I scented you even before you appeared" He raised his head from the laptop and when he spotted Shen his eyebrows rose.
" We agreed with Alpha Conri that Shen will be transferred to the Due Corporation. " I spoke up.
Toten rolled his eyes and then stood up " So she is the mole that has been giving Zineb information "
" Yes " I nodded while Shen looked embarrassed. I took out the phone from my pocket and placed it on his desk. " Have soone retrieve everything from the phone and hand it over to the pack office. "
" As you command Beta Lovita" He teased.
At that mont Anisha appeared in the doorway and she looked at Shen and then her eyes landed on
and she smirked: " I thought you left?"
" I did. And ca back" I responded.
" The pack office sent Shen over. She is to join Due Corporation" I announced.
Anisha raised her eyebrow and demanded, " What cri did she commit for Conri to agree to send her over."
" She is the mole in the pack that has been sending intel to Zineb Aria" John Tharn’s voice rose from the door.
" Really ?’ Anisha’s eyes bore at Shen who lowered her head in embarrassnt.

" Anisha commanded Shen and she followed her obediently.
I walked deeper into Toten’s office and then heard Toten command John Tharn " Co in and close the door "
John’s eyes widened but he moved slowly as he got into the office and closed the door. " Whatever you have to say, you better say it fast. I need to get ho to check on Mother"
Toten walked to the couch and pulled
along with him. We sat down and he raised his hand to beckon John Tharn to follow suit. He seed adamant but he slowly walked over, sat on the couch, and crossed his arms over his chest and one leg over another as a sign of defiance.
" Little wolf, our wolves claim you as our mate" Toten announced " So what are you going to do ?"
