Chapter 185: DISARRAY
Early the next day, Benjamin and I arrived at the pack’s office as planned. I found Everest and Levy already waiting for us but there was a commotion in the pack’s hallway. Amon was standing there causing a scene together with two pack enforcers.
" What the fuck is his problem " I growled we walked over to check what was going on. " What the fuck is going on ?" I growled and felt the whole corridor go silent.
" Hunter, what did you do with my fiancee? " Amon rushed towards
with an accusatory tone.
In seconds, Benjamin moved past
swiftly and the blow that Amon had prepared landed on him. He grunted in response and hit Amon back and he flew across the corridor and landed at the center.
" How dare you attack make a fuss and want to attack us at the pack office?" Benjamin growled.
" You piece of shit" Amon roared as he stood up.
Benjamin snickered and said " You have no right to make a scene at the pack’s office. If you want to report sothing go ahead.
" That is correct " I stood beside Benjamin while shooting daggers at Amon.
Amon snickered and said " You all think you can beat Lobo. You are no match for him."
Levy burst out laughing " How much wine did you drink? You sound like a drunkard."
Amidst the chaos, Amon’s father appeared and demanded " Why are you making a scene?"
" You are a fool pa. Why don’t you ask them where my intended mate is?" Amon growled.
" What are you talking about ?" Amon’s father demanded.
" Seraphine and her brother Larry left Alaska this morning" Amon reported and bit back a sob. Seraphine was the secretary of the pack and her young brother Larry was only twenty-three years old. She had been with the pack office for over five years and I was also surprised that she had left.
" What ?" Amon’s father staggered back in shock. " What did you do" He pointed at Amon.
" We have no idea what you are talking about Amon " Benjamin emphasized.
" I need to speak to Hunter alone." Amona’s nose flared. " You need to explain to
why they left " He pointed at .
’" I am as clueless as you. And I did not know that Seraphine was your intended mate. "
" You are all pretending not to know about her leaving because you want to fool . You are doing this because I openly opposed Luna Elijah" Amon retorted.
" This is all your fault," Amon’s father muttered.
" Shut up, " Amon yelled at him.
" I will not. " His father huffed and walked away.
"If you are here to report she is missing, I am afraid we can only start looking after forty-eight hours" Benjamin inford him.
" You think that Lobo does not know what you are up to. You are a traitor who betrayed him" Amon’s eyes blazed at Hunter.
" You better leave before I lose my temper " I spoke calmly.

for a second before he turned and left the pack office.
" What the fuck is wrong with that bastard ?" Levy asked.
" His reaction is not a surprise. His frustrations are because Seraphine left him. But there is more than ets the eye taking into account how his father reacted" Everest spoke up.
" I sense trouble coming our way" I confessed. " Before we flash the moles out, our hands will be tied and the gnawing feeling at the back of my neck, tells
that danger is about to hit us"
" I suggest we proceed to the KODA council at once " Everest stated
" You guys go ahead. I want to investigate the accusation that ca from Amon. Sothing seems off, " Levy stated.
" Have Keith and Boris assist you secretly " Everest leaned down to whisper at Levy as we left the pack office and I took three enforcers with .
When we arrived at the KODA jail, we found Amon and Lyal sneaking out. Amon looked surprised while Lyal’s displeasure was evident at being caught.
I moved with speed as I let my Alpha powers out and smacked Amon who fell unconscious. I turned to Lyal who raised his hand and spoke up " Please don’t. I will go willingly. I hate being in pain"
I growled at him and commanded the enforcers we had co with " Cuff him and put a bag over his head asap"
" Yes, sir" The enforcers rushed and cuffed Hunter and pulled a bag over his head. He was blinded as we left the KODA council offices. The Enforcers took Amon to the pack jail while we drove to Benjamin’s pub. Once we got there we took Benjamin’s jeep and drove up the mountains. During all this ti Lyal was silent at the back seat of the car next to Hunter and Everest.
Two hours later, we had arrived at the Chugach prison and when I stepped out of the car, the old guard ca rushing over in greeting.
" You are back " He bead.
’"Yes. I brought a special prisoner " I smirked at him and pulled Lyal from the car as Everest pulled the bag from his head and then Lyal’s eyes widened when he realized where he was.
" No way! " He yelled but the old guard raised him and summoned the guards behind him and then Lyal was dragged inside the prison.
" Ensure that no one finds out he is here. Keep him in Isolation" I commanded.
" Good. Care to tell
what is going on? Or did my words of wisdom co true" The old guard laughed. " I can sense your Alpha powers"
" You talk too much, " I brushed him off. " This is Benjamin and Everest. mbers of the pack.
" I know who they are. Benjamin is the one who runs the pub that was built by Conri Dolf. He is mated to Luna, the new Alpha. Their scents are mixed. A little bird told
she was expecting twin pups. And I know who Everest is. The right-hand man of Zoya Dolf. His wolf Gold has special abilities. "
" You are too nosy, " I complained after the old man’s narration.
He chuckled and then his eyes darted between Benjamin and Everest who looked at him with piqued interest. " Relax, I love putting my ears on the ground and keeping up with everything that is happening in the pack. "
" Nosy" I repeated.
" So how is Tizheruk? ’’ He asked and I groaned knowing he was causing
trouble Everest’s jaw dropped in shock while Benjamin folded his arms before his chest.
" I have no idea. I have not heard from him" I deflected.
" He is mated. And not to anyone but the queen who rules the seas. She is a sea wolf" the Old guard burst out laughing " I bet he never expected it "
" You are too much, " I snapped. " Ti to go back and do the rest of the work."
" Your mate will soon bear pups. It will be a double celebration for the Elijah family" His words made
stop short and my body froze in shock.
" Wow," Everest spoke up. " I should have brought my mate along so that I can get information."
" The only sane Isla. He is lucky to have you with him. I am told your brother is back. You need to get him away from the clutches of Boris Carter. Boris will betray you all unless you put him down"
" Shit " I cursed and rubbed my face in frustration.
" Heed my words. The King of the wolves and his mate’s powers have awakened" He laughed and walked away as he waved his hand and disappeared into the jail.
" Is he for real?" Everest demanded.
" Is your wolf special ?" I turned to Everest and he looked at
shyly and nodded.
" This old guard told
about Tizheruk even before I knew that he was the serpent sea god. The day I discovered this, I went to Tizheruk and asked for his help to get my family out of Sitka. So I can assure you he is never wrong"
" Fuck, we better head back and put down Boris Carter,"I growled
" Damn right" Benjamin seconded as he got on the steering wheel and we boarded the car and left the mountains.
Everest called Levy as we drove down Chugach mountain and put him on speaker phone. " Guess what I found out? It was Boris Carter who organized the flight for Seraphine and her brother out of Alaska. "
" Where the fuck is he?" Benjamin growled.
" The only one place that he would. To get the money that Lucian and Conri took. He is headed to the Freki mansion" Levy stated.
" How far are you?" I spoke up.
" Ten minutes away. I already called Elder Zaya. They are waiting for him. Anisha and Zeeb are in the mansion too"
" What about Keith??" I demanded.
" I have not been able to reach him, " Levy cursed.
" We better check on him. I do believe Boris will not be able to get past Elder Zaya. She will break his arm if he dares" Benjamin chuckled.
" Let us talk when we find Keith " Levy disconnected the call.
" I bet that Keith is at Ralph Isla’s mansion" Everest stated. " That is where we should start. "
