Chapter 115: THE PAST IS ALIVE
LOBO ARIA’S POV
I listened to Luna Elijah reveal the details of Luke’s birth and the shock hit
in waves over and over I left them standing by the pack reception and walked to my office. I threw everything that was on the desk in anger and kicked it.
"How the fuck was Lyal so ssed up that he allowed Duciana to give birth" I cursed as Boris and Hunter walked into the office.
"Calm down Alpha "I cursed.
"Why the hell should I calm down? That fucking moron ssed up," I seethed. "Go and find Zineb," I yelled at Boris.
He rushed out of the office, and I sat down, pressing my temples to calm my nerves. That old goat, Zaya, had caught
off guard. She already ssed up the link to the Yakuza and now she got Lyal arrested. And to top it up, Luna Elijah is an Alpha wolf? I needed a drink. I stood up, but Hunter moved before I could, walked to the cabinet, and filled the glass of whiskey. He walked back and placed it on the table and got busy picking up the items on the floor.
I took the glass and chunked all the whiskey as I welcod the burn of the drink in my throat.
"All these muts should be dead, "Aria howled. "Let us kill them all. "
"I want that too," I growled out loud.
"What?" Hunter turned around, and I waved my hand to inform him that I was talking to myself.
He nodded and then continued to pick up all the tis on the floor. Once done, he stood up and said, " Alpha, do you need
to handle Luna or Elder Zaya?"
"Send the enforcers to get rid of the imposter in Chugach prison. "
"Yes, Alpha" Hunter responded.
"That fucking Zineb. What kind of twisted shit is this?" I groaned. "Is the Napella already in Alaska ?"
"Yes, Alpha. The shipnt left last night, " Hunter inford .
"Good. We don’t need to cause more trouble for us" I nodded.
"I suggest we send guards to the KODA council. To ensure that Lyal is safe, " Hunter advised.
I nodded and felt the concern that ca from Hunter. "We need to ensure he remains silent and does not yap his mouth.
"I have a feeling Luna and Elder Zaya are building up a case against you," Hunter spoke up.
"Are they? "I snickered. " They will never win against . "
"We need to be cautious. Let us increase the people who will give intel on their plans, " Hunter spoke up. ]
"You seem worried. Why is that?’ I demanded.
"Because everything seems to be going wrong and I would hate for our plans to be interrupted. The fewer people we involve, the better. Ralph is dead, Boris is ssed up, Lyal is caught, Duciana is dead, and Zineb’s mind is twisted. "Hunter huffed.
He was right!! Things have been off for a while now. I was deep in thought when Hunter cleared his throat and I was startled back.
"You are dismissed. " I waved my hand at him.
When Hunter left my office, Boris and Zineb walked in. Boris was dragging Zineb, whose eyes were filled with tears.
"Let
go," she seethed at Boris.
"Fix this ss, "Boris said and rushed out of my office, leaving Zineb shaking in fear.
"Speak" I demanded.
Zineb raised her chin and said "This is my cross to bear. Why do you need to know?"
"Because you have been exposed," I laughed out cynically.
"Fuck them all. Why do they need to know about ? " Zineb yelled. " Do you know what that bastard Frodolf Due did to ? Because of your greed to beco Alpha, you killed Lupe Due. He found out five years later and his revenge? He locked
in the mountains and hit
over and over. I got an infection after this and my womb beca barren. You are to bla for all this. And to make it worse, your bastard brother Lyal heard what that fucker Frodolf did and then drugged Duciana, slept with her and she ended up pregnant. How could we tell you? She ca to Texas and had the baby. Odwolf Freki was visiting when the baby was born and Luke almost died. He saved his life by giving him the Freki’s blood. That is why he has Arya, Due, and Freki blood running in his veins"
"Shit" I stood up and rubbed my face in frustration. Why the fuck are you only telling
this now ?"
"Could you have listened? "Zineb hiccuped in pain.
"I am not such a bastard, Zineb. Why would I allow anyone to hurt my sister? " I walked over to her and embraced her. She burst into sobs as she let out all the pain.
"Lobo, you have been a snob for so many years. How can you not know this?" Zineb whispered in between the sobs.
"But you are family, Zineb, "I insisted as I rubbed her back. I realized that I had failed her. She had suffered because of my mistakes. I wanted power and never looked back as to whom I was hurting.
"Luke is innocent. "Zineb added. "I want to ensure he is protected. And I know you might not like this, but the Freki mansion is the best place for him. He is not safe with

"I am in no position to raise a child. And I will let you handle this matter." I took a step back and stared down at her tear-stained face. "Your makeup is ruined," I pointed out as black streaks fell from her eyes.
"You are heartless, Lobo," she hiccuped as she laughed.
" Are there other secrets you are hiding from
?" I demanded.
Zineb moved closer and whispered," No. Just that the BoryoKudan will reach Kofu city in Japan tomorrow. They will then access the mountain in two days. BoryoKudan secured the routes they planned and the Yakuza could not find them. Once they get the crystal, we need to deliver the gold. The Napella was just a down paynt"
"Why are you helping ?" I whispered when I realized that had always been on my side. "
"Because I was the one who found the specks of the crystals initially. " Zineb announced. "But Lyal has always been competitive and hence I let him tell you that he was the one who found them. "
" You should have been honest with
from the very beginning, and we could have avoided so much. But since it had co to this, Lyal is beyond saving. But I agree Luke needs to be protected. An innocent child should not be caught in the crossfire. But I will not allow them to take over the pack. I shall fight them to death"
"Be patient, brother. Once we find the crystal, you shall have no one to match your powers in the pack," Zineb smiled.
"Conri Dolf," I muttered through gritted teeth.
"You have always been in love with him. "Zineb stated.
"No" I shook my head in denial. "I want his powers and to control his wolf. "
"It’s impossible, brother. Do you know how much power Dolf has? I am afraid that being mated to Freki they will be unstoppable. "Zineb stated.
"He has the power of the Adora Crystal, but Ralph never told
if it’s all the power or so power is left in the crystal in the KODA Council. "

that Conri does not have the full power yet. He had no idea why, but it seed Zaya snuck him into the room and that is how the KODA council lost all the power of the guardians. He had no idea how Zaya survived, but soone healed her. "Zineb narrated.
"Healed?" How? " I raised my eyebrows with piqued interest.
"I need to find out, "Zineb stated. "By the way, we went to the Freki mansion with Hunter Hemming. He remained aloof from the whole ti and ignored Conri and Lucian. But they seed to be expecting him to talk to them. I have no idea, but I have this feeling that they already know Tala is his mate and they want to treat him differently. If that happens, you might lose his loyalty"
I chuckled and said, "Hunter is in my clutches. He knows what is at stake if he betrays . "
"Good. I need to fly to Japan tomorrow morning before anyone demands explanations from . I will reach out when I et with the BoryoKudan. Do what you can for Lyal and ensure he remains alive. " Zineb leaned up and placed a kiss on my cheek.
" Thank you, sister. Be safe and let
know of every decision or move that you make" I smiled at her as she walked out of my office.
I walked back to my desk, sat down, and whispered to myself, "How much shit must I endure in this crappy pack ?"
