Chapter 63: A Friendly Reminder

Officer Lyao left, and Yuri suddenly realized, almost too late, what had just happened.

Oh no. In silent alarm, Yuri dove under her covers.

In that mont, Yuri felt a wave of embarrassnt, as if an older relative had just asked her a question she was far too young to answer.

After the incident at the hospital, Planet Alpha was steeped in a vibe of tension. Many people vanished without a trace, as if they had evaporated, leaving no sign they had ever been there.

In this climate, the cri rate on Planet Alpha dropped significantly.

Tuss, who was expected to be unconscious for half a month, woke up on the thirteenth day.

Having had enough of Nutrient Fluids, Yuri made a trip to the cafeteria. When she returned, she found her room filled with doctors and nurses.

"He’s recovering remarkably well."

"All his vitals are normal."

"His hand grew back. With so training, it should be as good as it was before."

"Everything is fine, but why isn’t he talking?"

Everyone was puzzled.

Yuri nudged her way through the crowd and saw Tuss, sitting dazed on the hospital bed. At the sa ti, Tuss turned his head to look at her. He blinked, as if confirming sothing.

The next second, he darted toward her. Before she could react, she found herself enveloped in a warm embrace.

"Yuri, is it really you?" Tuss’ voice was hoarse.

"What do you think?" Yuri retorted, pushing him away. "Go put on so clothes."

Tuss was wearing only shorts, his muscles on full display. Yuri didn’t want to admit it, but she didn’t want others to see Tuss’s body.

Tuss underwent a variety of tests to confirm his health. Once he was cleared, he completed the discharge process that day and returned to the manor with Yuri.

At the manor, Ender, Daleks, and Kilana were eagerly awaiting.

The mont Tuss appeared, all three focused their attention on Tuss’s newly grown hand.

"Is it real, not a prosthetic?" Daleks grabbed Tuss’s hand, studying it intently, his eyes almost touching it.

"It has warmth," Ender added, "The cost of limb regeneration is so high, I’ve never seen it done."

"Hey Tuz, lift your leg. Let’s compare." Daleks slapped Tuss’s leg.

Tuss froze, shooting Yuri a look for help.

Yuri rely twitched her mouth in response, ignoring them and heading straight into the house.

Tuss was led to a chair by the three people. Daleks lifted his pant leg, revealing a pair of lean, muscular calves.

Daleks: "Oh, it’s warm too."

Kilana: "And hairy."

Ender: "You can clearly see the veins and skin texture."

All three people were perplexed because the legs felt so real.

"Seen enough?" Tuss asked, his voice filled with sarcasm.

Feeling a chill down their spines, Daleks, Ender, and Kilana quickly nodded, "Yes, we have."

Even if they hadn’t, they wouldn’t dare admit it.

The house was always spotless, cleaned daily by household robots. Yuri opened her opticomputer and asked the newly arrived group, "Want a al? I can place the order."

"I’m in." Daleks was the first to reply.

"Then I’ll buy the fruits." Ender offered.

"And I’ll get the drinks." Alcohol was conveniently ignored by Kilana.

Yuri liked both at and vegetables, but the four alphas in the room were all carnivores. Looking at Yuri’s nu, Daleks wasn’t satisfied, "More at, Yuri. We need more at."

"Tyrone and Hoolin are also coming," Tuss added.

"Just those two or..." Yuri asked.

Tuss sent a voice ssage imdiately, "Only you two can co. Don’t bring anyone."

Yuri smiled. Not bad, he read

quite well.

So Yuri ordered a few more pounds of at.

After placing the order, Yuri went back to her room to change.

As soon as she left, Daleks and the others surrounded Tuss.

"Tuz, you kept us in the dark for so long," Ender complained.

"Yuri is everyone’s saver," Daleks added.

"Tuz, you need to control your possessiveness," Kilana advised.

Tuss darkened, "You all knew?"

"Not only knew, but Yuri also helped us comb through the Sea of Consciousness," Daleks grinned, looking blissful.

"And Yuri didn’t even charge us." Kilana’s icy face softened.

"Tuz, Yuri is more personable than you," Ender rebuked Tuss with a glare.

Tuss’s face darkened further, a dangerous thought forming in his mind. He needed to claim Yuri fully, make her truly his.

The thought grew uncontrollably, like wild weeds, impossible to suppress.

Seeing Tuss’s increasingly deep eyes, the three people imdiately fell silent, exchanging glances and unconsciously moving a bit further from Tuss.

Tuz was terrifying at this mont.

The opticomputer chid in, showing an incoming call from Officer Lyao.

Tuss frowned, his intuition telling him this could be a conversation he wouldn’t enjoy.

He hesitated, delaying his response.

"Just answer it, it could be urgent," Daleks urged.

Tuss remained silent, unmoving.

Ender reached out and accepted the call for him, "Maybe it really is an ergency."

"Officer Lyao" appeared in the living room, scanned Ender and the others, then fixed his gaze on Tuss, his expression growing serious, "Are you fully healed?"

Tuss: "Yes."

The atmosphere grew tense as they exchanged terse replies.

Ender and the others exchanged confused glances. Has sothing happened that we’re unaware of?

"Cough, cough." Officer Lyao cleared his throat awkwardly. Facing Tuss’s all-knowing gaze, he suddenly didn’t know how to phrase his words.

At this awkward mont, Daleks asked, "Should we leave?"

"No need," Officer Lyao blurted out.

Ender raised an eyebrow. What’s Officer Lyao trying to say that’s causing him such difficulty?

Gritting his teeth, Officer Lyao finally blurted it out, "I rember Yuri isn’t quite nineteen yet."

"Two months shy," Tuss replied reflexively, the ominous feeling in his heart growing stronger.

"You cannot fully mark her before she’s twenty-five, you understand?" Officer Lyao emphasized.

Upon Officer Lyao’s words, the room fell into an awkward silence.

Tuss’s face was dark as a thunderstorm, his lips tightly pressed, saying nothing.

"Tuss, you cannot knowingly break the law," Officer Lyao’s tone grew stern.

After a nudge from Ender, Tuss grudgingly conceded, "Fine."

Officer Lyao sighed in relief, his expression softened, "Tuss, try to understand the pain of us high-level alphas. No one would make such rules unless it was necessary."

Tuss remained silent. Officer Lyao sighed and ended the call.

"Tuz, are we brothers?" Daleks asked sincerely.

This familiar question caused Tuss to roll his eyes and retort, "Not necessarily."

Daleks: "....."

"Tuz, if you knowingly break the law, you’ll end up in jail. Can you stand to be away from Yuri for that long?" Ender tried to persuade him gently.

Tuss: "....You’re harsh."
