Chapter 92: Chapter 92: She’s a top student, why would she steal my notes?

Chapter 92

In the afternoon after school, Chloe Collins, as usual, waited for the crowd to disperse before she was ready to leave.

Before she stepped out of the door, she slled a familiar scent, the fragrance of a well-known n’s perfu, Diego Willis’s.

Chloe Collins walked to the doorway and glanced at him, "What are you doing, sneaking around like this?"

Diego Willis ca out slowly, looking guilty.

"I’m sorry, Chloe, I... I lost the notes you gave ."

Chloe’s eyes narrowed slightly, "Lost?"

Diego Willis was annoyed, "I don’t know what went wrong. I still had them during lunch. When I wanted to review the math this afternoon, I couldn’t find them, but I clearly rember they were clipped to the textbook."

"What should I do to earn your forgiveness?" He asked with an apologetic look.

"Let’s go take a look."

"Oh." he hurriedly followed her.

Once they arrived at Class 25, Diego Willis turned over everything in his drawer, but still couldn’t find the notes.

Chloe looked towards the classroom surveillance cara.

"Let’s go to the School Security Office."

In the surveillance footage, the two saw the figure of Raine Nolan.

"Is it her?" Diego Willis smirked, looking speechless.

"No, she’s one of the top students, why would she need my notes?"

"I’m going to call her and ask."

Before he could take out his phone, soone’s phone started vibrating.

Chloe glanced at it, "No need to call."

Diego Willis looked closer and imdiately widened his eyes, "Give it to , I have to ask her why she stole my notes."

With a twist of her hand, Chloe dodged his attempt to take the phone and leisurely answered the call.

She didn’t speak first.

A faint female voice ca from the other end, "Cousin, if you have ti, co back ho. Dad has found a tutor for you. Co and take a look."

After hearing this, Chloe hung up the phone.

"Let’s go."

Diego Willis followed with a grin, "Your dad found you a tutor? Doesn’t he know that you’re good at your studies?"

Chloe sneered, "Who told you that, I’m good at school?"

"I can tell." Diego Willis raised his eyebrows.

Chloe ignored him, walking forward with a languid, disinterested pace.

Diego Willis drove quickly, and they soon arrived at the Collinses’ house.

As soon as they reached the door, a boy wearing a school uniform rushed out, his face full of excitent and elation.

"Sis! Sis!" Theodore Collins jumped around with excitent as he ran over.

"Wow, is that your little brother? He looks just like you, a little heartthrob." Diego Willis laughed.

Chloe didn’t say anything, but when she looked outside the car at Theodore Collins, her eyes softened with a hint of unease.

It was as if she was still not used to sothing, yet she didn’t reject it.

As she got out of the car, Theodore jumped over and hugged her, "Sis, you’re finally back ho. I had the cook make a ton of delicious food for you. Mom said you’re a foodie, right?"

Chloe coughed softly and pushed the little guy away, "Stand properly."

Theodore imdiately stood at attention, "Yes! Madam!"

He then turned to Diego Willis with a curious look, "Which one are you?"

"?" Diego Willis smiled and deliberately took a step closer to Chloe, "I’m your sister’s... friend."

"Oh, just a friend, phew, I was scared you’d be my sister’s boyfriend. You’re even worse than the Fosters’ brother."

Diego Willis: "!!!"

A heartbreaking sound echoed through his chest.

Chloe’s lips pulled into a small smile, then she said indifferently, "Let’s go in."

The three of them walked in.
