Chapter 68: Chapter 68: You Go Die First

Chapter 68

In a certain high-grade hospital ward.

A young nurse pushing a trolley was blocked by two bodyguards brought by Luna Lowell at the doorway, looking helpless.

"Can you please make way? I need to change the patient’s IV."

At that mont, a woman clad in a red dress and a pair of 12-cm high heels walked out from inside, exuding a strong presence.

She coldly glanced at the young nurse and said, "I am her family mber. She doesn’t need an IV right now. We will call you if necessary. Go do your job."

The nurse frowned, "You are not a doctor, it’s up to the doctor to decide if she needs an IV or not. Please step aside; otherwise, it will have adverse effects on the patient’s recovery."

Luna laughed, "Adverse effects? How bad can it be? I’d like to hear."

The nurse grew impatient, "Can’t you see that the patient hasn’t woken up yet? Are you really her family mber by stopping her treatnt?"

Angered, Luna retorted, "Who are you to speak to

like that? Both of you, get her out of here."

With that, she closed the door.

She leisurely walked back to Layla Lowell’s bedside.

Layla had been in the hospital for more than a day. She had woken up just a few tis and passed out very quickly each ti. Her condition was not good.

She had suffered quite severe injuries all over her body, including a hit to her head. Recovery would undoubtedly take so ti.

Luna examined Layla’s pitiful state with satisfaction, and laughed, "My dear sister, just keep sleeping like this. I’ll get your discharge procedures done soon; once ho, I’ll let you sleep to your heart’s content."

"Look at you, making so many enemies. I didn’t even have to lift a finger; soone else is trying to put you to death. Can Dad rest in peace if the Lowells are handed over to you? Tell , can he?"

She laughed even harder.

At that mont, Layla’s fingers moved, and she laboriously opened her eyes.

Luna took a seat gracefully, "You’re awake. So, you must have heard what I said."

"From now on, you have nothing to do with the Lowells. If you know what’s good for you, I’ll give you so money to live comfortably. If you dare cause trouble at the company again, I’ll make this city unbearable for you, understand?"

Layla sneered, weakly speaking, "Fine, since that’s the case, co closer, I have a request for you."

Thinking that she had conceded, Luna leaned closer, putting her ear close to Layla.

Unexpectedly, the mont her body bent down, Layla grabbed her hair. In the next instant, Luna’s head was drenched in water!

Layla laughed. Although her face was weak, her eyes were full of fearlessness, "Die first, then I’ll consider whether or not to give the Lowells to you."

Luna trembled with rage, her eyes searching for water to splash on Layla but was interrupted by a voice from outside the door.

"Young Lady, there’s a visitor for the Second Young Miss."

"No!"

Luna shouted irritably.

"It’s the Second Young Miss’s schoolmate, Miss Chloe Collins."

Luna was about to refuse, but suddenly seed to rember sothing and changed her mind.

Turning around, she sneered at Layla, "In a while, you’ll suffer."

She tidied herself up and went to open the door.

Chloe Collins stood at the doorway, looking at Luna, "Is Layla here?"
