Chapter 553: Chapter 553: Missing Him So Much
Chapter 553
If it weren’t for her being the leader teacher this ti, she wouldn’t even bother with Chloe Collins.
After not getting through on the phone, she tagged Chloe in the group chat and sent a voice ssage.
"Chloe Collins, Chloe Collins, when you see this ssage, send your current location imdiately."
Hearing this, Raine Nolan’s heart steadied.
Now, as long as Chloe replies, she should be able to know her whereabouts.
Vanessa Brooke helplessly said to her: "After going back later, you guys should get so rest, I’ll go and check on her."
Raine smiled: "Teacher, let
go with you. After all, she’s my cousin. Even though there have been many misunderstandings, she will always be family in my heart."
Vanessa Brooke was very relieved: "You’re so considerate."
Raine smiled.
Suddenly, her smile froze.
Her gaze was intently focused outside the window!
Since they had already reached the hotel, the car’s speed was slowing down.
Raine rushed to the window and looked back.
Not far from their car stood a handso man.
She could recognize that face in an instant!
It was the man in the photo Sophia Spence sent!
Her eyes narrowed.
Could it be that Chloe Collins was in the hotel?
At this mont, the car stopped, and all the students got off.
Raine followed suit, walking slowly through the crowd.
She turned her head to look at the man.
Coincidentally, he was also looking in this direction, his eyes searching for soone.
She grew more puzzled.
Could it be that he thought Chloe was on the bus?
Or was it that Chloe didn’t go to et him but was really sick?
These thoughts made Raine’s heart chill a little.
She didn’t go upstairs with the others, but found a place in the hotel lobby to quietly observe the man.
Sitting and waiting for Chloe to appear.
Before that, she recorded a short video and sent it to Sophia Spence.
[Sophia, he’s downstairs at our hotel right now, waiting. Take a look, is it him?]
[Sophia Spence: Yes, it’s him!]
[Sophia Spence: Where is Chloe Collins?]
-
Chloe fell asleep in the bathtub.
When she woke up, her heart was still slightly aching.
It was bearable, but her whole body felt uncomfortable.
She didn’t know how long she had been bathing, but after waking up, she washed away the bubbles, put on her pajamas and went out.
She opened the fridge to get so water, but there was nothing.
She suddenly rembered when she ntioned to Milton White before that there was no need to store food.
Closing the fridge, she picked up her phone to order takeout.
Just one look, and she was startled by several missed calls and unread ssages.
Checking the ti, it was already past eleven at night.
She had slept for so long.
She quickly sent a private ssage to Vanessa Brooke, saying she was recuperating at a relative’s place and had taken leave.
Vanessa Brooke asked for her address to verify its authenticity.
She casually sent the current address.
Only then did Vanessa Brooke calm down.
The next second, as she was about to open Milton’s unread ssage, Alexander Foster suddenly called her.
"Hello?"
"Were you sleeping before?"
"Did you call ?"
"Yeah, I called you several tis."
His voice sounded calm, but Chloe could hear the unsteadiness in his breathing.
It was as if he had encountered so urgent matter and was deliberately suppressing his anxious emotions while talking to her.
"Did sothing happen?" She casually asked.
"Nothing happened. I’m on a business trip to Orlando and I wanted to see you." His voice was gentle and warm.
"You’re in Orlando?" Chloe sat up.
"Yes, I am."
"Are you hungry?" Alex asked again.
Chloe touched her stomach and chuckled, "How did you know?"
"I’ll co find you, and we can eat sothing together."
Pressing her uncomfortable chest, she didn’t think much and said, "Okay, but I’m not at the hotel. I’ll send you an address later."
"Alright."
After hanging up the phone, she sent Alex her location.
The hidden pain in her heart beca more apparent, her breathing slightly heavier, bringing tearing pain.
She leaned against the back of the sofa, and for the first ti, she longed and longed for him to co quickly.
