Chapter 507

Upon seeing her, Madam showed a seemingly genuine smile: "This must be Chlo-Chlo, co here."

She was holding a string of Buddhist beads in her hand, gesturing to Chlo-Chlo.

Chloe Collins stood in front of her and rely bowed slightly without addressing her as her grandmother.

"I have sothing to do later, so I need to leave in ten minutes. I heard that you have sothing to tell ."

Aria Taylor: "The al is ready. Why are you in such a hurry? Eat first and then go."

Madam patted the seat beside her: "Sit down, let Grandma take a good look at you."

As she spoke, tears welled up in her eyes: "You’re truly Joy’s daughter, you look exactly like her."

Aria Taylor: "Grandma, you’re being humble. Chloe is even more beautiful than my aunt. She’s much better looking."

Madam mumbled: "This unparalleled beauty doesn’t have a trace of that ruthless young man Tristan Collins..."

Chloe Collins looked up, glanced at the doorway, and asked directly: "You said you know why I went up the mountain?"

Madam lowered her eyes: "No need to rush. Let’s eat first. Look, this is your mother’s favorite dish..."

"Mom! I’m back!"

Rosalind Taylor’s voice suddenly ca in.

Everyone but Chloe Collins was startled.

Aria Taylor exclaid: "Second Aunt, how did you co back?"

Rosalind Taylor walked in, supporting her belly with a lingering look of fear on her face.

Madam was surprised by her arrival: "Why did you suddenly co back?"

Rosalind Taylor looked left and right: "Why are only the two of you at ho? Where are the others?"

"Uh, they’re all out for dinner." Aria Taylor replied.

Madam glanced at Chloe Collins, then said to Rosalind Taylor: "Since you’re back, sit down and eat together."

"I’m sorry, I have sothing else to do. If you don’t want to tell , I’ll leave first."

Chloe Collins nodded at Madam and then walked out.

"Ah...Aria, go stop her!"

Aria Taylor hesitated for a mont and hurriedly went after her.

Chloe Collins was actually walking very slowly.

During this ti, she managed to remove her hearing aid.

Just as she put the hearing aid in her pocket, Aria Taylor caught up to her at the doorway.

"Cousin, don’t be so anxious. Eat first and then go back."

Chloe Collins stopped without taking any more steps forward.

The milk candy in her hand suddenly darted out, and she didn’t stop it.

"Ah..." she exclaid softly.

Aria Taylor felt relieved: "I’ll ask soone to help you find the cat. In the anti, go eat, okay?"

"Then I’ll trouble you."

Aria Taylor didn’t give it much thought and imdiately walked in the direction of the cat.

Chloe Collins sat down on a nearby chair, and after a while, the kitten ran back on its own and lay down at her feet.

She casually picked it up and put it in her pocket, while Aria Taylor, who was pretending to look for the cat nearby, would occasionally turn back and smile at her, motioning her to wait a little longer.

From inside the house, the conversation between Madam and Rosalind Taylor ca through, both voices very low.

Rosalind Taylor: "Mom, what are you trying to do? Why did you suddenly invite her for dinner?"

"Why are you rushing ? Is it weird for , the grandmother, to have a al with my granddaughter?"

Rosalind Taylor’s voice beca even lower: "I heard her ntion the mountain just now. What do you want to tell her?"

Madam snorted: "If you weren’t so useless, would I have gone this far?"

"What does this have to do with ?"

Madam slamd her string of Buddhist beads on the table: "No connection? Aren’t you my daughter? Just because you got married, you have no connection to the Taylors? It’s every one of your duty to revive this declining family!

You’re even worse than your sister! Both sisters fell for the sa man, both equally useless!"
