Chapter 479: Chapter 479: It Was Agreed Not to Go Easy

Chapter 479

Layla Lowell excitedly rubbed her hands together, leaned in close to the microphone, and yelled, "Layla Lowell!"

Her vivacious voice resounded throughout the bar, and on hearing it, Charles Carrington on the third floor suddenly looked down.

The woman standing in the center of the stage was indeed Layla Lowell.

His eyebrows creased instantly.

What’s this kid up to now?

He massaged the space between his eyebrows and summoned soone over.

"Lower her alcohol concentration," he ordered.

His subordinate was taken aback: "But... boss, you just said that nobody should be given special treatnt..."

"Is what I say not valid anymore?" Charles Carrington’s eyes darkened.

The subordinate didn’t dare argue and imdiately turned around to relay the orders to soone else, carrying out his task discretely.

Downstairs.

As Layla Lowell took the stage, laughter and taunts imdiately filled the room. People told her to step down, not to push beyond her limits or else it would harm her health.

For her safety, and seeing her young age, the host asked her a few more questions, "Young lady, are you certain you want to take the challenge? Mr. Quincy just drank four large jugs of liquor in just three minutes and fifty-six seconds, do you still want to accept the challenge?"

Layla Lowell waved her hand loftily, "Of course I do, or else why would I do this? Don’t let my thin body deceive you, this little bit of alcohol is nothing to !"

As she spoke, she winked at Chloe Collins on the second floor and even sent her a hand-heart gesture.

Chloe Collins sighed softly, silently lifting her red wine in salute and seed to say: as you wish.

The surrounding people laughed, amused by Layla’s antics. Their interest was piqued, and they wanted to see if Layla was indeed, "more than ets the eye".

The host then asked, "Well then, young lady, please choose your level."

Layla Lowell glanced at Mr. Quincy sitting in the corner, who t her gaze with a smug expression, as if he was looking at a three-year-old child, letting her have her fun.

Layla Lowell grunted and walked straight to the Level A table and raised her hand, "Pour the alcohol!"

The host quickly started hyping the crowd: "Level A! This young lady has actually chosen Level A. It truly seems like a newborn calf doesn’t fear the tiger. Her bravery is comndable! Let’s give Layla Lowell a round of applause and wish her success in her challenge!"

As his words fell, the servers imdiately brought the four large jugs of hard liquor, each jug weighing one kilogram!

Layla Lowell, in high spirits from today, grabbed one jug in her hand and waited for the countdown to end.

With the sound of heartbeats counting down, the mont the word "one" fell, a whistle sounded imdiately!

Without wasting a second, Layla Lowell began to guzzle the alcohol!

The cheers of the audience reached her ears, and she knitted her eyebrows together.

This liquor... didn’t taste right...

It seed like plain water...

Even though she felt sothing was off, due to the ti limit, she didn’t hesitate and chugged the whole jug at once.

After she finished, she clicked her tongue a few tis. There was a hint of alcohol taste, but it was very faint.

She looked at the staff with suspicion.

The next second, rushed for ti, she grabbed the second jug and started to drink.

Still very light!

You’ve got to be kidding, has her alcohol tolerance gotten this good?

Excited and thrilled, Layla Lowell drank faster and faster!

She miraculously finished three big jugs in one go, each one weighing a kilogram!

When she grabbed the fourth jug, she let out a burp.

A faint taste of alcohol welled up from her throat, but she didn’t feel tipsy at all.

She looked at the tir, only thirty-six seconds had passed.

At this mont, aside from feeling full, she had no feeling of intoxication at all!

While holding the handle of the fourth jug, she could not help but suspect that there was sothing wrong with the liquor.

So, she called a tiout.

Everyone thought she had conceded and let out disappointed sighs.

But Layla Lowell looked at the host: "There’s sothing wrong with your liquor!"
