Chapter 378: Chapter 378: After all, I’m still losing. So let her play.

Chapter 378

As the voice barely faded, Evelyn Thompson and Sophia Ford exchange glances, both catching the sa keywords— a young girl, just a high school senior.

The old Master heard it and asked with his deep voice, "What’s this girl’s na?"

"It seems to be... sothing with ’Chlo’." Sienna McCarty inford.

Raine Nolan suddenly looked up.

She was just wondering if it could be Chloe Collins, and now hearing this, it really was her!

The Master appeared puzzled and turned to ask Evelyn Thompson, "Does Chlo-Chlo know how to make perfu?"

"Dad, that’s impossible. Didn’t Tristan Collins deny it himself before?" Sophia Ford responded.

Evelyn Thompson laughed, "Joy Taylor always had an interest in making perfu, and Chlo-Chlo has been exposed to it since she was a child. She should know a little bit about it."

Sophia Ford interrupted, "That’s hardly called knowing."

With a lift of his hand, the Master silenced them.

"Were you here tonight to ask

to stop him?"

Sienna McCarty nodded, "Yes, the perfu that Alex Xian is using is entirely the work of that young girl. There’s no assurance of its quality. Master, you must persuade Alex. Otherwise, we’re sure to lose."

The old Master was cold, "I’ve been out of company affairs for years. Your boss must have his reasons for his actions. I won’t interfere. You should go back."

Sienna McCarty paled, "Master Foster!"

"See the guest out." Edgar Foster ordered.

The butler imdiately stepped forward, staring indifferently at Sienna McCarty, "Please leave, Miss Sienna."

Sienna McCarty wanted to say sothing else but held her tongue, feeling unjust but not daring to vent. She had to leave dejectedly.

Once she was gone, the Master asked, "Has Alex not returned yet?"

"He hasn’t."

The old man thought for a mont, then said, "It’s late. All of you go and rest."

With these words, he rose and left.

The younger generations all stood and watched until the Master left the building before they sat down again.

Without the Master, the atmosphere noticeably loosened.

Sophia Ford said, "Sister, it looks like you will have to persuade Alex. Isn’t he ruining Redolence? If this is sold, custors will think this is Redolence’s standard and give a bad review."

Evelyn Thompson looked unhappy and said straightforwardly, "I trust Chlo-Chlo. She’s not a reckless girl. And I also trust my son. His decisions have always been spot on."

"Oh dear, Sister, I know you love those two kids, but this is about a major company decision, not children playing house. If Chloe had skills like Raine, we wouldn’t have this much concern. But she doesn’t."

"I trust my son," Evelyn Thompson responded.

"Let him decide his company’s affairs. It’s not our place to intervene," William Foster chid in too.

With their indifferent attitudes, Sophia Ford felt as if she was punching cotton and felt powerless.

Tired of the conversation, she stopped.

In a short while, Evelyn Thompson and her husband also went back to the east wing.

When they left, Sophia Ford said, "They’re faking it! Your Uncle and Aunt are pretending to be calm, but they must be panicking inside!"

Her husband also laughed, "Alex is acting so illogically this ti. No matter how much he spoils that child, he can’t let her treat the company as a toy. But tasting the flavor of defeat might be good for him."

Edgar Foster said, "I think he knows that he’s bound to lose, so he doesn’t care, and just lets her have fun and try to make her happy."

"I agree with what the eldest brother said. Mom and Dad, you might not know, but our second brother likes Chloe Collins. It’s not impossible for him to do this to make her smile," Alan Foster chid in.

Sophia Ford chuckled, "Let him be, anyway, Redolence is definitely ours in the end. I will be happy no matter which one of you two takes it."
