Chapter 376: Chapter 376: Unauthorized Visit

Chapter 376

"Guardian?" Damien Hart looked shocked, his overly pale face astonished.

He looked at Chloe Collins, as if asking: Is this true?

Chloe coughed lightly, unsure of how to explain it.

"Um... I’m currently staying at his house."

Alex seed quite satisfied with her explanation.

He had felt a slight regret after uttering that sentence earlier.

He worried that his words and actions might put pressure on her or cause her any discomfort, so he often weighed his words carefully before speaking.

Hearing her say this, Damien Hart was even more surprised.

"You don’t have a place to live?"

Chloe gave a faint smile. As she collected her thoughts, all she said was, "Let’s go eat."

She was about to call Layla Lowell when she suddenly received a text ssage from her.

[I’m going back to prepare for the trial. Mr. Carrington is coming tonight (crying). Help

get my brother’s autograph]

Beneath the text, there was a photo taken from a car of the passing scenery outside. It seed they had left already.

[Chloe: OK]

Putting down her phone, she turned to Alexander Foster and said, "You can go and do your thing. We’ll leave first."

Alexander Foster: "I have nothing to do. I just haven’t eaten."

She stopped.

He ca here not for a matter?

She looked up and saw Alex staring at Damien Hart.

Moreover, he had just spoken to Damien in his mother tongue.

Damien let out a wry smile and said, "If you’re interested, why don’t you join us?"

Alex: "Sure."

Chloe: "Maybe next ti. I have sothing private to discuss with him this ti."

Alex’s eyes held a cold glint, though it didn’t show much on his face.

After staring at Chloe for a while, he said in a deep voice, "Alright."

Shortly after, he left.

The lingering scent around Chloe gradually faded, and it seed Alex had really gone.

Damien Hart dropped his celebrity standard smile and said casually, "He seems quite difficult to deal with."

Chloe tugged at the corner of her lips and replied, "Sort of."

At the sa ti, a limousine slowly ca to a stop in front of the Main Gate to the Foster family estate.

The main gate had already begun to open slowly, but the car didn’t enter.

The two passengers were Edgar Foster and Raine Nolan, who were discussing tomorrow’s press conference on the way.

Raine had previously suggested several small promotion thods, such as incorporating subtle advertisents in daily life. She believed that in addition to hiring big-na celebrities for endorsent, they could use the strategy of primacy to make people think of the Tree Essence Series when their actual advertisents ca out.

Edgar was impressed with this approach, and they had executed it swiftly within a week. Tonight, Raine had co to report their week’s progress to him.

Before they could finish discussing, Edgar suddenly raised his hand and asked her to stop.

Raine realized that he was staring outside the car window.

She followed his gaze.

There was a woman standing at the Foster family’s main gate, on the phone.

The light was dim, making the woman’s face unclear, but Raine had a feeling of familiarity.

Soon, she rembered.

"Mr. Foster, isn’t that Sienna McCarty, the manager?"

She knew Sienna McCarty.

From the day she joined Edgar Foster’s team, she had beco acquainted with the team mbers working under both Alexander and Alan Foster.

Sienna was the R&D Departnt Manager that Alex had paid a large sum of money to hire.

Edgar pondered for a mont, murmuring, "It is her, what is she doing here?"

Raine suddenly understood. It must be because they hadn’t made an appointnt that the security guards didn’t let her in.
