Chapter 336: Chapter 336: Actually, It’s Wounding Her Heart
Chapter 336
Lilian Pearce nodded, slowly relaxing her taut nerves.
She was genuinely worried she wouldn’t be able to hold herself together.
She lowered her gaze to the blood she was having on her hand, thinking that it was worth it if it could stop the child from asking further questions.
She turned, reaching for a tissue inside her bag. The view zood in, and a button-sized, black object attached to the inner side of her bag, was visible.
The rustling noises caused by her rummaging in the bag were all transmitted to a sensor on the other side through this small piece.
At this point, Alexander Foster sat at his office desk, alone in the quiet office, apart from the noises emitted by the listening device.
He had been racking his brains about the incident at the forum and decided to secretly protect Chloe Collins and Ms. Pearce.
Knowing that Lilian Pearce was going to et Rosalind Taylor today, he planted a device in Pearce’s bag, just to prepare for all contingencies.
Unexpectedly, he heard all this.
The next second, he turned off the sound.
Imrsed in the silence, nurous scenes flashed through his mind.
That year, he asked her a question.
"Young lady, where are your parents?"
"Where are your parents?" she replied.
He only smiled at the ti and said, "They’re at ho, waiting for ."
Then, silence fell.
Not long after, he heard she would go for archery practice.
Only today did he profoundly realize that his casual words back then were actually jabbing her heart.
His breaths were sowhat heavy, even a bit difficult.
His eyes were filled with a heavy hue, and his complexion was dark and displeased.

Rosalind Taylor indeed had a miscarriage scare.
Once they left the restaurant, Tristan Collins took her to the hospital for a check-up.
She had just finished her checkup and was now lying on the hospital bed.
She was not in a serious condition, but Tristan Collins was quite concerned.
Rosalind Taylor looked guiltily at him, "Darling, are you mad at ?"
Tristan Collins’s looked darker, "Didn’t you hear the doctor? A mother’s mood can affect the fetus."
A chill ran through Rosalind Taylor, so she was saved by the baby once again.
She remained silent.
Tristan Collins pressed his thin lips tightly and suddenly asked, "If she hadn’t said it today, how long were you planning to keep it a secret from ?"
Coldness was present in his voice.
Rosalind Taylor looked wronged, "I love you more than my sister does. I had no choice."
"I thought after what happened, you would definitely divorce her. I figured, it was God showing rcy, giving
a chance."
"Enough." Tristan Collins ruthlessly cut her off.
He looked out the window and said in a deep voice, "Don’t ntion her and don’t compare yourself with her. Just focus on taking good care of the pregnancy."
Having said that, he walked straight out of the ward.
Rosalind Taylor stared at the empty doorway, bursting into a self-deprecating laugh.
So after all these years, she still couldn’t surpass her in his heart...
How could she forget that even after Joy Taylor’s death, there was still a room in their house filled with her belongings.
She had proposed several tis to move them out but was always refused by Tristan Collins.
Furthermore, the company’s na was Therand Pharmaceuticals, Therand...
The na was chosen by Tristan Collins when he was pursuing Joy; he deliberately changed the company’s na for her.
Whether he was sincere or just putting on a show, this "devotion" was sothing she, Rosalind Taylor, could never get.
Well, perhaps she was just a tool to satisfy his physical needs.
If that’s the case, she would take everything else from him!

(As I may be criticized for this, Nitrogen, I still want to say that currently our story is still in an essential, preparatory stage. We haven’t unfolded much of the plot, yet many specific plot clues have been planted. These will be tied together later, and the upcoming content will be even more exciting. Trust , readers.)
(That’s it for the six Chapters today, if anyone has monthly tickets, toss them in, good night.)
