Chapter 139: Chapter 139: So You Don’t Like

Chapter 139

This answer was within Evelyn Thompson’s expectations, "Alright, Aunt Evelyn will reject it for you."

She joyfully walked upstairs.

Robert Foster, sitting next to her, put down his reversed newspaper, and with a deep voice said, "My mom not only rejected the interview for you, but she also declined invitations from twelve families trying to adopt you as a daughter-in-law. Look at the bias of my mother, it’s really cunning."

"Robert Foster, go do your howork." Evelyn Thompson’s shout ca from upstairs.

Robert Foster shrugged his shoulders.

When Chloe Collins returned to her room and took a shower, she suddenly found sothing scratching at her door.

She opened the door and saw the Samoyed squatting dutifully on the ground, cocking its head and looking at her.

It carried a small secure basket on its back, which contained a bottle of water and a pill for alcohol detoxification.

Chloe Collins took up these items, squatted down, rubbed the Samoyed’s head. Her beautiful eyes seed deep in thought.

At the sa ti, at the Collinses’.

Rosalind Taylor’s stomach was getting bigger and bigger, and the servants in the house were very careful.

Tristan Collins asked her to go to bed early so as not to affect the baby.

But she didn’t agree: "Raine is having so issues with fragrance blending, I’ll go and give her so pointers. It won’t delay much ti. You go to sleep first."

Tristan Collins looked up and said indifferently, "If she has issues, she will ask the other team mbers. You always control her like this, preventing her progress."

"Ah, it’s a special ti. I should help if I can. Edgar Foster puts high hopes on her, we can’t let the Collinses lose face before the Fosters. Besides, if this succeeds, it would be of great help for Raine’s future apprenticeship."

With that, she opened the door and left the bedroom.

Tristan Collins read for a while, but found it boring, so he put down the book and went out.

He ca to Theodore Collins’s room.

There were huzzah sounds from inside.

Normally he would be pleased, but hearing these sounds, his face imdiately tightened, and he pushed the door open directly.

The boy in the room saw him and imdiately wrapped up the sword and shield he had been holding in his quilt.

"It’s late!" Tristan Collins spoke with a deep voice.

Theodore Collins straightened up, "Father, so late at night, why did you co here? Is there any instruction?"

Tristan Collins snorted coldly, "Father?"

He was pretending to be well-behaved.

He walked to the desk, opened a book, and found a paper inside with a stern-looking old man sketched on it. The sketch looked very much like the real person, exactly like the photo. That wasn’t the issue. The problem is, he wrote a few words on the top of the picture: "I will destroy you on behalf of the moon!"

And, he even drew the effect of a lightning strike.

"What is this!" Tristan Collins exhaled angrily from his nostrils.

Theodore Collins lowered his head, "I just used my dad’s image for a cao."

"Brag on, keep bragging!" Tristan Collins sat down, radiating an intimidating air.

Theodore Collins sneakily glanced at him, but just put his hands behind his back without saying a word.

Tristan Collins asked him, "Why do you draw such things?"

With a solemn and heavy tone, as if it was at an interrogation.

Theodore Collins lifted his eyes, looked at him, and said, "When my younger brother is born, you will not like

anymore. I will have no place in this family, huh."

The color of Tristan Collins’s face changed slightly, "Who told you such nonsense?"

Theodore Collins tightened his small face, "I can see it myself."

Tristan Collins narrowed his eyes and did not speak for a long ti.

After a while, he turned his eyes away and examined Theodore Collins’ book, his room.

The large room was full of various big boy’s toys.

The book was very clean, with hardly any words written down.
