Chloe Collins stared at him for a mont before quickly taking out a packet of dicine, walking to the entrance of a small supermarket, taking a bottle of water from the fridge, and swallowing the dicine in one gulp.
Smooth and seamless.
Alexander Foster’s eyes held a hint of helplessness, but he said nothing and paid for the water.
Afterward, the two of them went into the mall to start shopping.
Alex didn’t know the shopping list, but as he watched Chloe Collins put item after item into the shopping cart, he beca curious.
He picked up a basin specifically for kneading dough, which they already had three of at ho.
Moreover, these items were usually purchased by the servants.
He watched the girl’s retreating figure but didn’t say any of this out loud.
He quietly followed her, slowly strolling through the mall.
It was his first ti shopping like this, and it was strangely interesting.
Chloe Collins shopped at a fast pace, ntally organizing all the items and quickly finding them in the relevant sections, buying more than half in a short ti.
Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the costics section.
The salesgirl, seeing a mountain of gold and silver coming her way, tried to suppress her excitent and introduced the products to them with a smile.
"Sir, this facial cream is the best in our store, a limited edition, very suitable for your girlfriend."
Chloe Collins: "..."
Alex’s face remained composed.
Chloe Collins calmly nad a few products that Evelyn Thompson wanted and asked the salesgirl to pack them up right away.
Alex lightly tapped the counter and said indifferently, "Pack these up as well."
The counter lady exclaid with surprise, "Sir, you really love your wife so much, I envy you, and your wife, for having such a good husband."
Pleasure colored Alex’s eyes.
Chloe Collins: "..."
She quietly said, "He’s my uncle."
The counter lady stiffened, "Huh?"
Alex furrowed his brows.
Chloe Collins cast a faint glance at him and strode out the door.
Behind her, the counter lady laughed, "Uncle, you’re so good to your niece!"
Alex, carrying large and small bags, followed with a gloomy face.
Eleven at night.
The banquet was over, and the Feng Mansion had returned to its quiet state.
Robert Foster, holding a pile of gifts, entered Chloe Collins’ room and said they were gifts from the uncles and aunts at the banquet.
In other words, the guests of tonight’s party.
Robert Foster looked at her, speaking earnestly, "This is just a small part; there’s a much larger pile in the main building."
"Wow, I envy you, Chloe Collins."
Robert Foster didn’t hide his envious gaze.
Chloe Collins glanced at him, "Do you like these things?"
Robert picked up one of the presents, a gaming laptop, "This is not bad."
"Then it’s all yours."
"Thank you, but don’t tell my mom. She doesn’t allow
to play gas. She even confiscated my computer last ti and handed it over to my brother for safekeeping. It’s so annoying."
As he said this, he shook his head from side to side, "Is my brother not here?"
Chloe Collins faintly looked towards the staircase entrance, "Oh, he’s feeling a little unwell."
"Unwell? Where? He rarely gets sick. Is it because he’s been too busy with work these days and is exhausted?" Robert said.
Chloe Collins looked at the comic book in her hand and said lightly, "That’s really unfortunate."
