Chapter 102: Chapter 102: This Teammate is Feeling Emotional Now
Chapter 102
The two children were startled by the sound.
"Run!" the older brother shouted.
Chloe Collins chuckled and strode over, leisurely lifting up the two children and indifferently carrying them back into the villa.
This scene was completely observed by Alexander Foster.
Assistant: "OMG! Miss Collins’ thod of disciplining children is so skilled, it looks like she’s done it many tis."
"Mr. Foster, are we still going over?"
Maurice Willis felt that it would be sowhat inappropriate to go over now.
Bla it on his boss for being too late.
The young lady has already secretly beco a mother; what can be done about it?
Alexander Foster was silent for a long ti, his handso profile covered with a deep, cold light.
"Let’s go back," he said.
The assistant silently drove away from there.
Inside the villa.
Chloe sat in a chair, casually interrogating the two children.
The children stood with their hands behind their backs, one almost in tears, the other stealing a glance at her.
"Na."
"I... I’m Rupert Frost, and this is my younger brother Brent Frost."
"What did you steal from ?"
"Two chicken legs and a cup of cola..." The boy’s voice was very low, darting a look at her hand.
"Do you want
to call your parents?" she faintly said.
The older one quickly waved his hand: "No need, sister. Let’s just settle this minor issue privately."
His father had once said that doing sothing bad was okay, but not being caught was a must, or else his butt would be spanked.
Chloe looked at the child who was at most seven years old, chuckling, "Settle privately?"
She raised her eyebrow: "Alright."
The elder one, hooking the corner of his mouth, began to dig into his pocket: "Then I’ll give you the money, can 30 be enough?"
Chloe pursed her lips, slowly shaking her head: "I don’t want money."
The two children were at a loss.
Chloe propped her chin up, smiling subtly at them with a deep aning.
Five minutes later.
The two children stood on chairs, washing the dishes in the sink, one responsible for scrubbing, the other for rinsing and drying.
The smallest one was about five years old.
Chloe sat on one side, watching a movie and eating fried chicken and drinking cola.
Fifteen minutes later, the children rolled up their sleeves and approached her: "Sister, we have finished washing."
Chloe glanced at the neatly arranged dishes, which were not dirty to begin with, so it was now hard to tell whether they were clean or not.
She pushed the remaining half chicken leg to them: "You can go ho now."
Rupert’s eyes widened: "Is this for us?"
Chloe gave a small nod with her chin, her gaze indifferent.
The children scampered away, only stopping at the doorway to quickly say thank you.
The room beca quiet again.
Although the movie had a high-rating, there was no taste to it.
Perhaps it was because her heart hadn’t settled down, she couldn’t focus on it.
She turned off the television, curling up on the sofa to play a ga on her phone.
After playing a round, she felt unfulfilled and switched to her computer.
Still logged in with the new account, her friend [Don’t co here. You’re an eyesore.] was online.
The two of them, along with others, quickly ford a team and started a slaughter-fest ga.
Feeling the rapid and intense barrage from her teammate, she suddenly found this person interesting.
Today seed like a day of serious gaming with emotions running high.
During the ga, a teammate was dragging the team down. Chloe wanted to ask for protection but was blatantly ignored and even kicked off the motorcycle.
That teammate was wailing.
There was no explanation from her teammate.
Chloe and her teammate eventually secured victory for the team.
It had been a long ti since she t soone with such perfect cooperation where they almost instinctively knew what she wanted to do without uttering a word.
This was a first in a ga.
Quite interesting.
Putting down the computer, she went to look at the two gifts.
Both had arrived today: one was a birthday gift for Master Foster, and the other was for her master, Master Songya.
Thinking about it, she suddenly rembered her master’s request, and he wanted to see Alexander Foster on his birthday.
After thinking for a mont, she sent him a ssage.
[Don’t forget about Master’s birthday next month.]
As she sent the ssage, she instinctively thought he would reply with a simple "Okay."
However, after a few seconds, there was still silence.
He probably hadn’t seen the ssage.
She didn’t think much of it and placed her phone to the side before heading to wash up.
