Chapter 888: Chapter 358: Terminating the Assassins

Yang Ming raised his hand to check the ti.

Only about six minutes were left until the opportune mont Lyu ntioned.

It was now the eleventh Galaxy Day since Daphne’s departure.

Yang Ming sat in the warden’s office, opening a bottle of a lately popular drink from Yaha Star, chatting with the warden and several visiting military officers about the design insights of ‘Insect Race-specific cha’.

The military strongly supported Yang Ming this ti, and Yang Ming reciprocated by organizing all the data on chas against the Space Worm Clan, offering them to the Imperial Military Departnt free of charge.

Lyu was beginning the operation.

The so-called opportune mont was actually when the terminator chanical assassination group they dispatched would get closest to the predetermined targets in maximum capacity and number.

Once the assassination started, the Empire would certainly react.

Especially when senior officials of the Foreign Affairs Bureau were continuously assassinated, the related personnel would inevitably beco vigilant.

Twenty-four terminator assassination robots, operating in twenty action zones, had to complete their respective target eliminations within one to two hours, or even half an hour, and attempt imdiate retrievals, regardless of success.

Each assassination robot was equipped with an instant self-destruct system.

The ‘chanical souls’ housed within the terminators had all been backed up and undergone dozens of thought inspections to ensure their mindset wouldn’t deviate.

Now, Yang Ming didn’t need to do anything but relax and wait for the results from Lyu.

But Yang Ming couldn’t help feeling…

This was more nerve-racking than taking action himself.

In the Emperor Star Circle, on one of the densely populated major stars, at the center of the sprawling city plains, lay an expansive estate filled with greenery.

The tall, silver-haired old Prince, with a smile, holding a knife and fork, was absorbed in the opera singer’s performance, unable to extricate himself for a long ti.

Behind the old Prince, a middle-aged male servant who had worked in the estate for over ten years, bore a slight smile. Below the soft towel draped over his right arm, which should have been a human flesh arm, a miniature electronic ejector appeared, rotating like flowing water.

In the peripheral regions of the Empire, on a large entertainnt cruise ship.

Even having been married to the Princess for decades, the Honorary Duke, still leading a vibrant private life, embraced a human female from the Guel Alliance in the dance floor — she had slender limbs, a graceful body, alluring eyes, appearing almost a bizarre species, yet actually a human without an Original Genetic Lock.

Among the long black hair of this human female, two strands independently exuded a lethal toxin.

On a planet on the fringe of the Emperor Star Circle.

Lady Mag awoke from her sleep on a long sofa, listening to her assistant’s report of ‘the eting is about to start,’ she sowhat groggily shook her neck, musing why she felt tired even though she had a good sleep last night.

She didn’t notice, however, that the red-eye intensity of the chanical Guard behind her assistant seed unstable.

Everywhere, scene after scene.

In a total of twenty attack locations, owing to the offices and offline etings present, the expanded targets numbering sixty-seven had all entered the sight of the terminators.

In the noble prison of Yaha Star, Yang Ming’s laughter with the visiting military personnel was hearty, everyone vividly discussing the impact of new technological reforms on single-soldier combat power and the persistently high mortality rates of advanced biochemical experints.

In the Thought Space, Lyu silently observed the array of projection screens in front of her, seemingly pondering sothing, or perhaps with computational power fully allocated, leaving no extra processing for expressions.

She watched silently.

Like a goddess showing compassion for mankind.

Or like a cold, emotionless machine.

Various sounds filled the Thought Space, as the opera the old Prince was enjoying reached its climax, causing him to blissfully close his eyes, imrsed in the high-pitched waves perfectly perford by the opera singer, allowing his mind to relax freely.

Poof!

In a corner, the servant’s towel slightly quivered, the old Prince suddenly widened his eyes, his movents becoming rigid, as a bloody hole appeared on his forehead.

On the entertainnt cruise ship, in the ergency rest room at the edge of the stage, the man and woman on the bed were passionately entwined, having shed most of their coverings, with strands of hair wrapping around the Duke’s neck, and under the dim lighting, the hair tips bored into the Duke’s ear hole, piercing his eardrum.

Foreign Affairs Bureau’s closed-door eting.

Lady Mag sat with several deputy directors at the sub-table, preparing the developnt materials for the vassal states each was responsible for.

Lady Mag felt this scene was quite ironic.

She had just attended a eting last night regarding the next steps for the downfall operation of the Luofeng Empire, aiming to use five years to crush Luofeng across economic, political, and cultural dia fields, utilizing newly discovered proxies, and within the next two years, complete the mandatory military weakening of Luofeng, thus transforming Luofeng into a new vassal state.

Now, she had to laud the Wind Empire’s outstanding economic achievents at this formal eting.

‘Should I take the opportunity to suggest abolishing the annual tribute exemption for Luofeng set back then?’

Lady Mag thought about this, feeling it was a good idea.

Boom!

A loud noise suddenly erupted from the side.

The security door was suddenly knocked open, and a chanical Guard with a silver-white frawork appeared in Lady Mag’s sight.

“Guard?”

Lady Mag’s pupils sharply contracted, from her perspective, she could see the chanical guard parts scattered outside the door.

And the chanical Guard that broke into the room, had balls protruding from all over its skeletal structure.
