Behind the man, several young n in prison uniforms stood in a row with their hands behind their backs.

Trays floated on the water, each carrying various kinds of expensive and rare fruits, while across the pool, a projected screen showed the stage performance of a popular girl group.

"This?"

"Try to understand, please try to understand," the warden said in a low voice, "the White Ghost, the hero of the Empire."

Daphne shook her head slightly, then said, "Please, tell him that I'm waiting here for his reception, and whenever he's available, I will et him, no matter how long it takes."

"Yes, Your Highness, I will convey the ssage verbatim."

"Does he still have the imperial code in his eyes?" Daphne couldn't help but complain, "Isn't the most important thing here to warn and punish criminals?"

The warden looked embarrassed, lowered his head, and quickly walked away.

The operators rely lowered their heads without speaking, their expressions unchanged.

They had seen similar scenes too often in the past two months.

Thus, Daphne waited for a full seven standard Galaxy Days before finally eting the man with a punchable smile in the warden's office.

"Hello, Princess Daphne."

Yang Ming sat in the warden's high-end chair, spinning back and forth with his toes as the pivot, holding a book he was casually flipping through.

The contrast between his prison uniform and the surrounding environnt gave Daphne a sense of irony.

Yang Ming said warmly, "Long ti no see, and I'm glad to hear that you are fine while your brother Ghali is under house arrest. It's obvious you won this court political struggle."

"Thanks to you."

Daphne handed her handbag to the maid next to her and turned her head, "Warden, could you excuse us for a mont?"

"Of course, of course!"

The maid and the warden both stepped outside, the warden's eyes flashing with a bit of gossip as he closed the door.

Yang Ming smiled and asked, "Does Director Eno have sothing to discuss with ?"

"Yes," Daphne said with her usual elegant and poised deanor as she sat across from the desk, her face calm, "There are three matters, or rather three ssages, to relay to you."

"Speak."

"I am not your subordinate!"

Daphne glared at Yang Ming, then took a deep breath to regain her smile, and said warmly:

"We can discuss our matters later."

"The first thing is that the institute plans to hand over the Ancient God Cells to you; the second is that the institute is considering advancing Captain Catherine's ascension experints; the third is that we've detected abnormal activity from the New Federation Agents, and we hope to leverage your power to eliminate these agent teams."

"We?"

Yang Ming laughed, "Congratulations."

"Thanks to you," Daphne said, "Your words enlightened ; I should show rebellion and autonomy when appropriate, to provide them with more ideas instead of blindly following their orders."

"That's nice," Yang Ming tossed the book onto the table, "The institute offers

benefits and uses Catherine to threaten ; it's unlikely they just want

to counter the New Federation Agents, just state their real terms outright."

Daphne stared at Yang Ming.

Yang Ming t her gaze calmly.

Daphne said, "I don't quite understand why the so-called Faya experints are so important, but I can roughly guess... They hope that after completing your mission, you can participate in the ascension experints."

"To make

a test subject?"

"The exact words from your great-uncle were that they wanted to try more possibilities on you," Daphne said warmly, "I also don't really understand what that ans, but your great-uncle said, you are very likely to complete individual ascension. After all, this is a Faya experint project, and they want to witness it in person."

Yang Ming's eyes narrowed slightly.

Daphne didn't understand what this ant, but he did.

Did the Faya people again pass notes to the Empire?

Or perhaps this was Director Eno's wish as a researcher?

Would he participate in the ascension experints after playing the Faya's ga...

Yang Ming asked, "When will the cells be given to ?"

"Before you go for the experint."

"Then they're useless," Yang Ming said calmly, his mind racing, deciding to pull so strings.

Yang Ming sighed, "Telling you this doesn't make sense to you; after all, this relates to high-dinsional civilization, and your current awareness level is too low."

Daphne almost rolled her eyes impolitely.

Yang Ming laughed, "We can talk about cooperation matters later. Now, you do have the qualifications to work with , but these conditions from your great-uncle, I cannot agree to."

"Why?" Daphne frowned, "Dare to refuse?"

"You can reply that I need to ask my friend, the one who communicates with

directly," Yang Ming said calmly, "their principle is that no projects should interfere with each other, not a single interference."

"I'll relay your exact words."

Yang Ming spread his hands: "Whether or not the Ancient God Cells are given to

doesn't matter. My current strength is enough to stride through human society. I wish to enhance my strength to face future crises."

"Crisis?"

"The Great Queen from beyond the realm is about to ascend dinsions soon; she is already on the verge of dinsional ascension."

Yang Ming's eyes narrowed slightly again:

"The High-dinsional World is engaged in a war between humans and insects. She is a combat supplent for the Insect Race, while these experints in the Milky Way are part of a combat supplent project for high-dinsional humans.

"Enhancing my strength doesn't necessarily rely on Ancient God Cells; after the queen's ascension, I can sweep through the swarms at the frontier and achieve self-strength evolution within half a year.
