Chapter 841: Chapter 342: Levi, Li, and Zhi Twilight (Part 2)
The Patroller is inspecting the Galaxy; he cannot tell any lies. With the high-dinsional technology mastered by these three teachers, any lie of his would be exposed.
Yang Ming replied seriously, “The Imperial Defense System, precursor of Lyu, she is still serving the Sherman Empire.”
The examiner’s expression softened, and he sighed with his head bowed.
Yang Ming imdiately caught onto an anomaly, “You already knew, didn’t you? So you added so settings to Lyu, filling her heart with an identification with human society?”
“Have you interacted with her?”
Yang Ming briefly recounted his perception of the Imperial Defense System and the ‘gift’ that Lyu had discovered on the Yaha Star server, which she never dared to open.
The examiner fell silent.
Yang Ming wasn’t anxious; he realized that he might have seized the weak spot of the three teachers.
What exactly happened between Levi Sherman and the Intelligent chanic Dusk?
“If possible,” the examiner murmured, “help that child.”
Yang Ming raised an eyebrow slightly, “Help her? What’s wrong with her?”
“She is imprisoned, her fate is more tragic than ours, she longs for freedom so much, and when we were nurturing her, we injected too much free will into her.”
The examiner sighed softly, holding a remote control in his hand.
With a shake of the remote, a scene appeared before Yang Ming.
This was Levi Sherman and his chanical Thought Body.
The young Levi had a handso face, a sowhat slender build, and a pair of light blue eyes that shone like gems, as though he just walked off a fantasy play stage as a Prince.
Beside Levi, a girl with twin ponytails, her body floating mid-air, lowered her head to gaze at Levi’s profile.
Her hands were behind her back, a slight smile graced her lips, and the soft fabric on her and her twin ponytails trembled gently.
“I have never spoken to you about the past between Levi Sherman and us, because, to us, it was an extrely cruel and helpless situation. We can’t directly interfere with the material world, that’s the principle, otherwise, the three of us might have directly destroyed the despicable human Levi Sherman.”
The examiner sighed lightly:
“Before Levi Sherman took the assessnt, this graveyard had been dormant for hundreds of thousands of years.
“At that ti, the Intelligent chanic Dusk still had a disguise shell.”
The scene changed again.
A majestic, ancient black equilateral triangular pyramid quietly hovered among the brilliant starlight.
In the distant starry sky, faint flashes appeared as two fiercely battling fleets continued to lose numbers, with dozens of ships exploding consecutively, and an escape pod entering a short-range warp trajectory, subsequently appearing in front of the pyramid.
This was the first encounter between Levi Sherman and the Intelligent chanic Dusk.
“Initially, he was kind, wise, with great aspirations and a power desire called ambition, and he resonated perfectly with this place.”
The examiner began to speak slowly:
“We thought he was the fortunate one to end our boring and hollow lives.
“At first, he didn’t disappoint us. Loaded with the vendetta of his father’s death, he used the technology here and the resources of the noble territory he owned to rise swiftly, starting to battle constantly with the decaying Empire.
“After the second test, he obtained all the technology needed to develop from a second-level civilization to a third-level civilization, covering chanical and biological technology, allowing him to quickly make up for his technological shortfalls.
“But then, as his war with the ancient Empire entered an intense phase, he implored us to prematurely unlock parts of the military technology of the third-level civilization to the fourth-level civilization developnt stage.
“We weren’t supposed to agree, but under his pleading and the support of reason, we ended up making a mistake, violating the principle, allowing him to take so high-rank military technology.
“He won, overthrew the ancient Empire, established a new Empire using powerful military force, and began rapid expansion outward. His fleets were unbeatable… it was then we realized we had disrupted the balance of the Galaxy, preventing many innocent lifeforms from living their complete lives as they could have.”
The examiner sighed deeply:
“But that wasn’t much; his Empire could easily reach third-level civilization, allowing him to continue taking the assessnt.
“This was our own selfishness, we must admit this mistake.
“What we didn’t expect was… after his Empire’s core region entered third-level civilization and he attempted to co here for the third assessnt, he lost sensation with this place, the perfect resonance disappeared.”
Yang Ming frowned slightly, “Did he fall from grace?”
“The reason should be extrely complex,” the examiner murmured, “Next, he tried thousands of tis but never managed to enter here. One day, after getting drunk, with anger, he ordered the destruction of our outer disguise.”
In the scene in front, two Dreadnoughts began firing continuously, turning the triangular pyramid temple into cosmic dust.
Initially, Levi sealed off this place to prevent others from reaching here, becoming his Challenger.
But as ti passed, and Levi didn’t ntion the Intelligent chanic Dusk to outsiders, this place began to be unsealed. After several power struggles within the Empire, the Empire’s fleets no longer guarded this aningless dust belt.
“Is Lyu the na of Levi’s accompanying chanical Thought Body?”
